Fresh and delicious Puerto Rican food. Many of you think that Puerto Rican people don't eat spicy
Well let me tell you, they have excellent "salsa picante".
I enjoy this salsa with tostones, chuleta cancan, etc. Good atmosphere, excellent service and prices ok. Small restaurant but cozy. Will be back and strongly recommend it.

1 word. Authentic. My wife and I moved here from Florida which as you know boasts some of the best Latin food in the country so moving to Nashville we were nervous we would be missing some of our favorite cuisine. We were blown away. First of all, they have Coquito... ON THEIR DRINK MENU! All year long! I almost fell off my chair! Coquito is something we've only had the privilege of drinking at Christmas time hand made by some of my friends' grandmothers that are from Puerto Rico, but never have I seen it on a drink menu. It was delicious! We ordered crab empanadas as an appetizer which were outstanding. Light, flaky, and full of seasoned crab meat. My wife ordered the rotisserie chicken with rice and beans, and I ordered ropa vieja with rice and beans. The chicken was phenomenal. I ordered ropa vieja because they were out of churasco. The ropa vieja was delicious, and well seasoned, but it is pulled beef. I had my heart set on churasco so I guess I'm just being salty about it haha. Either way, we were very pleased with our meal. The Maduros (plantains) were out of this world. We both ordered sides, and then two sides to go they were so good. Lastly, tres leche for desert and it was outstanding. My husband and I decided to eat here while waiting for a concert to start at the Cannery Ballroom. Food was excellent and piping hot when we got it but getting it was a bit of a wait. We ordered at 625pm and didn't get our food until closer to 730pm. Granted, it was a busy night with live entertainment and seemingly only one or two servers/bartenders for 9 tables. I’m Puerto Rican and I can say for a fact that the food is 100% authentic. There are certain items on the menu that you can’t really get here in Nashville so being able to enjoy it in environment that reminds me of home is awesome.
