Yesterday was my first time at Salon Christopher and I loved it! The entire staff was extremely friendly and the salon was so welcoming. I had my hair done by Angela who is seriously the sweetest ever. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and she 100% nailed it! I recently had a cut and color done by Kristen, who is one of the junior stylists at Salon Christopher. She made professional recommendations to my requests and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. My overall experience was great! Wonderful salon everyone and everything is very bright and clean, front staff very kind courteous. Just be mind full of the junior stylist. .. I wasn’t given the color or cut that I asked for even after showing her pictures; i asked for a chocolate brown with a hint of burgundy- I asked multiple times if the color would be brown enough, and she assured me it would. Turns out it’s straight burgundy.. she offered to do more but told me it would just be dark and you wouldn’t be able to tell.. just have to let it wash out a bit... great... I asked for a mid length cut, shoulders/ collar bone, and specifically said I need all of my hair to still fit in a pony tail. I told her I have curly/ wavy hair and usually get layers for my curls. She ended up not listening to me at all, and cutting the back 1 inch shorter then the front, (inverted angle and never talked to me about that) and now my hair is not long enough to fit into a pony tail... When I said something about the back she said “oh i think it looks better this way”... she did not listen to what I asked for and showered her, now I’m stuck with a hair cut that isn’t right and that I totally hate... hopefully these next few months go by quickly while it grows out..... definitely not happy More...

Ana is amazing at what she does! The salon is beautiful, relaxing and all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. After I had left, I picked out a couple things I wanted done differently and ana had no problem at all inviting me right back to add a couple touches to my hair and she was so sweet and understand about my pickyness lol I 100% recommended Salon Christopher and I will definatly be coming back here to have my hair done for now on.

Sierra has been my colorist for a few years now, and I must say she is gifted at what she does! She always consults with me before we start, addressing all questions/concerns. She is not only superb in customer engagement, but also a phenomenal hair stylist/colorist. Her consistency/expertise never disappoints! If you’re looking for a great colorist, Sierra is your girl!
Rom is an excellent stylist as well. Her ability to give a fabulous cut seems effortless. She is the kindest, most attentive, educated hair stylist. Rom is thorough. I have been going to Salon Christopher for about a year now. I have had Rom, Ana and another stylist for a blowout that I cannot recall her name.
I mainly sit with Rom but if she's not in and my crazy life has to squeeze in a service, I trust anyone there for Classic cut/trim and blow dry.
A must try - The brush set blow dry if you have medium to long hair. Perfect quick blowout for any occasion.
Color Service - Rom is my go to woman. Extremely experienced and pretty much a pure genius with color. I also hear awesome things about Ana when it comes to color.
Make-up artistry - I have only had Sierra - she is amazing. Showed her a picture and she legit recreated the look. Took her time even when she knew she was a little backed up because a service took just a few minutes longer than expected. Did not rush me out, made sure I loved before I walked out. Will definitely use her again and again.
Waxes - every single person that has done a wax for me has done a great job, you're in good hands regardless and if you don't like something or have a preference, just tell them and they will listen!
Prices - I am coming to Jersey from a Main Line (Pennsylvania) Salon and prices are pretty comparable. They are not your quick $15 haircut by any means - and they shouldn't be. If you're looking to save a buck, this is not the place for you, but to me their prices are normal and affordable for anyone who is used to having good hair care. I have never left with the feeling that I overpaid for a service. I'm a teacher, I don't make tons of expendable dollars to waste away just like most of you.
Overall - highly recommend if you are someone who wants a STYLIST to help you achieve your look. These ladies (and gentlemen) are very well educated and professional yet still personable which I love. If they aren't 100% about something - they know exactly who to turn to in the Salon if they need a second opinion before a service. They work very cohesively as a team.

I walked into the salon a nervous wreck. Emediately I was welcomed by the staff.Chris the owner welcomed me with a big smile, offered to take my coat to hang up, and offered me some coffee. I felt so relaxed he took the time to go over what we were doing for my hair. I left the salon feeling like a million bucks . I have been going to Salon Christopher for many years. My cut is consistently the way I expect it and Chris ensures that I am satisfied every time. In fact, I am so impressed that I travel from out of state (about 30) miles just so that I may get my haircut from Chris. The staff is extremely courteous and they attend to my every need. All of the stylists go out of their way to ensure that I have a positive experience. The salon is very clean and I truly enjoy the atmosphere that Chris has created.
