Hello! I am Salmaan Khader. (Pronounced Sal – Maan). Welcome to my website and about me page.
I am a Registered Psychological Counsellor, registered as an independent practice with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). I am in full time practice in Lenasia - Johannesburg. I also travel in and around South Africa to Clients.

My Practice is Counselling and Assessment based (See Services for Counselling and Assessments offered).

I also assist corporate companies – providing talks and group work such as conflict resolution, staff development, stress management and emotional functioning: vulnerability, and functioning. I offer school talks for teachers and parents on requested topics.

I also offer Psycho-Legal work, such as Mediating acrimonious divorce matters, divorce settlement agreements or MOU’s, Parenting plans and assessing parental alienation.

Having a Holistic view on counselling is what directs my love and passion for what I do, while integrating and building on empathetic relationships that is facilitated by bringing individuals together in times of their most painful and scariest places. This means that I work from a person centered approach using Integrative Interactive Psychotherapy in Counselling and the Interactional Pattern Analysis. This allows me to select an appropriate technique based on the individual needs of each client in order to assist them in exploring how they relate with their environment.
