I had my wedding at Sala Gatineau and Luigi and his team went above and beyond our expectations. The food was superb (pleased the most pickiest eaters), the hall itself is really beautiful and the whole team was very accommodating to our needs. They also make sure to incorporate new and unique concepts to make your wedding stand out. It's very clear that Luigi has a passion for what he does and he worked hard to execute a smooth day for us. The maitre d Lana was also incredible and made sure we were taken care of throughout the evening. Thank you for the most memorable wedding! We truly received amazing service from day one. Luigi and his staff made it so easy to plan a wedding and will go the extra mile for their clients. They were organized, professional, nice and so easy to deal with. I'm hoping this place doesn't have many reviews because it's newer, not because people haven't selected it for their event. TL:DR - Book your wedding here.My wife and I had our wedding (both ceremony and reception) here in April of 2019. And to be honest, I could not say enough complimentary things about how it went.First off: I can't speak for the other wedding and event planners, but we had Lisa and she was amazing, just the best! She helped us with absolutely everything, answered all our questions, and was just so nice and friendly, and so good with advice! And Luigi, the manager was also great. He was so great as well and so helpful and understanding. They both helped make our planning process so easy.The venue itself was really nice, it was much more beautiful than we could have asked for. They use a lot of LEDs and technology to make the lighting and the venue pop. They also have a variety of tables, to accommodate a lot of different looks, we used rounds, squares and king tables.The food was really good, surpassed our expectations for a wedding. The beef was medium and the fish wasn't dry, which is impressive considering we had 200 people. Oh the dessert to choose is the panna cotta.The staff was spectacular, our Maitre D, Lana, was so good. She was on top of everything, if something went wrong that night, neither us nor our guests noticed. The servers and bartenders were great too. Barely noticeable, but always there when needed.We only have 1 minor grievance, and they are SUPER minor: For tables, they use 60 inch rounds, which fit 8 people max comfortably, 7 would be more idealI will definitely have my second wedding here! ;) More...
