Very big screen. We sat in the middle of the rows I think we should have gone higher in the theater it was hard to see the whole screen at one time. But great picture.

I have always loved the Science Center. A lot has changed since I was a kid but it is still a really nest place and there is always some fun learning experiences. Great for kids and there are also some evening special events for older kids and adults. More...

I'm not as impressed with the science center as I used to be. I'm on my 3rd child now and was really looking forward to treating her to a day of fun and learning. There were a lot of activities but several of them failed to work or work as they should've. It seems like there used to be a lot more help available to help guide the kids with the displays. My favorite display was the medical center which has been removed. The fossil display was pretty good and the archeologists was very informative. More...

Extremely entertaining while being educational at the same time. Most of the science is aimed at younger children, but adults will learn, too. Many exhibits are hands-on. The special exhibits are usually fascinating and worth the extra cost. The Omnimax Theater is immersive and must be experienced. You feel like you are in the movie! More...

The first place a martian would go when coming to St Louis is the Saint Louis Science Center and Planetarium. At the science center the alien could learn about the earthling spaceships, studies of the solar system and Galaxy, and meet a few pterodactyls. For those who live in St Louis, the planetarium used to be a 70s thing when you would lay on your back, look at the heavens above  and jam out in the laserium. Like real man. Today foil man can tell you some aluminizing stories about this place. More...

There is so much going on here. Getting here is a pain in the ass via public transportation but what can you do. This place is for both adults & kids. I think it' pretty cool that they have a way to connect buildings via the highway overpass to the planetarium. There are several floors that have different exhibits & some are better than others of course depending on what strikes your fancy. So everything from the dinosaurs to technology exhibits are available & other things as well. I mean the minute you walk in you look up & around to see this entire game w/ balls moving through this maze type thing which is cool as all hell. I was mesmerized to watch it from different angles by going up the stairs for a different vantage point. Not only that but they also have an outdoor area that leads to another smaller building that is all about agriculture. It seems like most people don't know about it or don't bother. Make sure you go check it out as you will totally learn something & it's just pretty cool to see what's growing.I ended up deciding to go to the planetarium as well for a show of the sky which was pretty nifty too & totally recommend doing that.So you can spend the whole day here but you should totally plan accordingly as to not miss out on anything. There is so much to see & do, ton of fun, get here & check it all out. More...

The science center is awesome for kids! There is so much to do, some of it is free. There are some paid exhibits and movies but there is still a lot you can do for free. There are lots of hands on opportunities that are educational too. I visited the special Pompeii exhibit last weekend and it was so interesting to see and read about the artifacts and casts. The 4D immersive experience was the highlight of the exhibit. I am sure I will be back for the next cool exhibit! More...

What a great way to bring a family together.I was watching fathers and their children play foosball and shoot hoops together. Mothers explaining to their younger children about different hands on video games and helping them play,as well.My own grandson met another young boy needing a partner to play ping pong,so they said hellos and played. So opening up that area was helps the children interact with each other, instead of playing on their own phones and missing all you have to offer. Can't wait to go back with my grandson and family. Sincerely, Jackie More...

Went to see the Pompeii exhibition, loved every bit of it. You’re not rushed through the exhibit at all, you are free to see everything at your own pace (which is great, because I’m an incredibly slow reader), and they offered audio guides for just $5, which I imagine they would offer for other exhibitions as well. I’ll definitely see more special exhibitions here in the future !! More...
