If, like we were, you are nervous about going over budget on your integrated whole home entertainment system, all I can say is talk to Pete Clark, spend the money, and let your new system turn you on every time you want Paviroti, or Johnny Cash, or Adam Levine live in your living room. As empty nesters, the technology was very scary. With Safeguard you should never fear, their integrators, Nate, and Jeff, leave you with a paradigm of a system, oxymoronic in it's delivery a "SIMPLYcomplex" solution. We now have a media closet full of stuff that could launch a mission to mars AND an intuitive hand held remote by our couch that allows easy access to the miracles available from streaming sources I previously thought were only for kids. Safeguard Security is by far the best security company in AZ. I've been using them for a while now, and the service has been nothing but excellence. Every time I call in for support, or to schedule service, the team there is always very helpful and patient with me. The technicians that have come out to do service on my the system are extremely knowledgeable about alarm systems, and are very honest. I have been a customer with Safeguard for many years now and I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an excellent alarm company. Through the years I've dealt with many of their employees either in person or through phone calls and all have been pleasant. They obviously care about customer service. I'm writing this review today from an above and beyond wonderful experience I had with one of their employees yesterday. It just amazed me how quickly she was able to handle the issue I was calling in for and then to go above and beyond and notice an error that was on my account which would have caused me headaches in the future. I had such a smooth experience today with Safeguard I felt the need to share. Nowadays, who doesn't have a home security system? Well, if you don't and you're in the market for one.. Safeguard is the LOCAL company you're looking for. I have been researching security companies over the last couple weeks and Safeguard stood out to me the most. Not only are they local, but they were able to get me scheduled with a highly experienced salesman (used to be a technician, so he knows the ins and outs of the system) and he was able to completely customize the product for my home. The product is competitive in pricing to other companies, but honestly...if it was more expensive ... it would be worth it. You get what you pay for... with Safeguard it's outstanding customer service, quality of products and knowledge and of course, security. Overall we are pleased with Safeguard. We had one problem with our unit needing servicing several months after we moved in and assumed ownership of the unit. We did not know prior to having serviceman come out and fix that there is a way to fix the unit ourselves by asking Safeguard to temporarily disable the 'tamper' alert so that we can repair our own device, saving the service call. A month ago we had a new system installed in our apartment. The process was seamless! The techs who came out were incredibly professional and approachable! They walked us through our system set up and answered all of our questions. They cleaned up after themselves and were very thorough! The system itself is very modern and user friendly! The app we use to manage our system while away has a fantastic interface and is incredibly reliable! My original alarm company was bought out many years ago, and my contract bought and sold many times over since.  My current alarm company, based in PA, has been a nightmare.  So, the search began for finding a new, local, provider.I had two companies come to my home for a quote.  The first one, despite glowing online reviews, was shady as shit, and creepy to boot.  The second seemed inexperienced.Safeguard was recommended to me, so I first reached out to them by phone.  Was immediately connected to a sales person, April, who was delightful.  She was knowledgeable, patient and straight-forward, so I set up an install appointment for the following week.What was interesting about Safeguard, is that every other provider in the Valley told me I needed to upgrade my landline system to a cellular system, but also replace the keypads, which of course, meant a higher install cost.  Safeguard upgraded me to a cellular system, but didn't make me buy new keypads or features I didn't need.  I loved that!  (I have issues with companies that lie about upsells.)The technician, Ken, was lovely and professional.  Arrived on time, and quickly went to work checking sensors, and updating the system. I have an older system that the original installer locked out, which I had told April, and Ken had NO problem working around the lockout.  He even asked if I needed him to wear booties, so as not to track through the house.  :)  There were no hidden fees or contract inclusions, and unlike the other vendor, when I asked to read the contract, he stepped outside to give me time to do so on my own.  Like I said- nothing to hide.Yes, they are a bit more than other providers on the monthly monitoring cost, but, you get what you pay for, and really...if you're going to bother to have an alarm system, do you not want the best (and local!) company monitoring your home? Safeguard is a terrific company to deal with and I don't give very many good reviews.  From sales to install and then on to the final inspection with the City of  Scottsdale - this company is A1! !  Everything they said was done to the letter.  The install crew respected our policies, communicated wonderfully, treated everyone here very well and were true to their word.  I cannot say enough good things!!  You do not need to look any farther - this is your last stop for security and fire protection.
