We are absolutely delighted to have found Heather. She has a great understanding of dog behaviour as well as being reliable and professional. Our Vizsla is very anxious and nervous of new people but Heather has spent a lot of time working to build a good relationship with her. This has paid off because Orla now loves Heather and gets very excited when she collects her for her walks. Heather takes our dog out every week on a Friday and it is without doubt his favourite day because of it. He always comes back home tired but happy and sets him up for the weekend. Heather and Safe and Sound Hound are amazing! She is super flexible and understanding with my crazy schedule. It puts my mind at ease to know that my Greyhound Percy is in great hands. Percy is always happy to go on his walks and always returns happy and tired from his days. It is incredibly convenient that Heather has a van so she can pick him up and drop him off. Safe and Sound Hound is absolutely exceptional! We feel so lucky to have found Heather. From the beginning she took the time to understand our dog’s needs and his hesitation to meeting strangers, and she new exactly how to work with him. She takes care of Rex as if he’s her own, and he absolutely adores her and her family. She is always professional, attentitive, energetic, kind and constantly has a smile on her face. Any time I mention her name to Rex and that he’s spending doggie day care with her and her pack he goes mental! I would highly recommend Safe and Sound Hound for both dogs walks & boarding.
Heather kindly welcomed my beautiful big doberman in to her home and made him part of her family.
He was taken on wonderful, exciting walks daily and was comforted by her & her family in the evenings.
It is always hard leaving my dog but Heather made me feel confident & happy that my dog was in the absolute best of care & did her best to be accommodating to all of our needs.
I will definitely keep in touch with Heather and use her wonderful services in the future.

Heather looked after our bulldog and dogue de bordeaux for three weeks whilst we were on holiday, and she was fabulous. Outstanding service from the first call.Contacted me very quickly after my inquiry. My Lady which is a very spoiled Chihuahua had a lovely stay, she was very well looked after and very very happy. Chihuahuas need much more attention than other larger dogs and she was never left by herself.She was taken for nice walks and always was someone playing with her.I was skeptical as knew how demanding and spoiled she was but found her so happy she did not want to come home with us.Left her before with good friends she was used to but didn't find her so happy and comfortable.Heather send us updates, pictures and videos and texts. Can recommend enough! I already told everybody I know about my experience.I can now have a peaceful holiday or do things a couldn't do before as didn't want to leave Lady by herself. Highly recommended! Heather is fantastic with Lexie. She has a lovely way with dogs and is very thorough with all the arrangements for looking after Lexie when we were away for a couple of days. Heather has taken care of our Weimaraner over a weekend and we were extremely impressed with how easily she managed to get Raja to not only to take to her, but also accept her as a new leader in the pack. Heather put us at ease instantly and we knew that Raja would be in the best of hands. We are now using Heather for twice weekly dog walks with Raja and are so happy to have found her.
