****to get to restaurant ..go down ally between Park and Pine ....it's not a store front on 12th******Jeffrys BBQ was suggested to us by a local here in Paso Robles. It did not disappoint. Such great friendly service that helped us navigate the menu (being first timers) and the food was beyond great. We had the Smoked Pork Bahn-Mi sandwich and tri-tip sandwich. We shared the Mac n cheese with bacon we've ever had. Comfort food at its finest. Everything was absolutely delicious. Jeffry's is crazy delicious. It came highly recommended by a couple of people at a winery we were at earlier in the day. I'm not a huge meat eater and I don't usually finish a meal - but I ate the slaw that came with the bahn mi sandwich my husband had and polished off an entire tri-tip sandwich. Driving through and stopped for a bite mainly because it's dog friendly. Pulled pork was tender and the sauce yummy.  My son had a cheeseburger plain so they suggested the kids size which was big, wonder how big the adult size would have been! ?  The homemade chips were the best.  Loved Loved the chips!   Please give it a whirl especially if you have dogs!!! Tried for the first time and will be back. We both had the bahn mi pork sandwich, one with chips and the other the sesame slaw. The pork was delicious. It was perfectly cooked with great flavor. The bahn mi in its entirety was very good and worth ordering again. That said, don't expect authentic bahn mi flavors of lemongrass, ginger and such. This is a bbq restaurant's interpretation of a Vietnamese staple.The house made potato chips were super good, as was the sesame slaw.Staff was friendly and helpful, and the ambiance/vibe is inviting.My only real gripe was the BBQ smoke. It wasn't bad at first but after a while, it began to irritate our throats. Not sure there's a remedy for this, but for those who might be sensitive to smoke, takeout may be a better option.Kudos to Jeffrey for bringing some much needed high quality and tasty BBQ to Paso Robles. Barbecue sounded good tonight so we ordered take out-my wife got the ribs, she said they were good but needed more sauce. Yes it's St Louis style, we know but she's used to having a little more sauce . I had the pulled pork sandwich, that was good. The lowlight was the slaw, not much taste, that needs work. We love this place! The only reason I'm giving it four out of five stars is because of the dining area. Since most the seating is outside it's not always friendly for every season however the warmer months are great because you can sit on the patio and they always have heaters and a fire going. Still one of my favorites!! Great patio, dog friendly, delicious food and friendly staff.  I brought a friend this time who hadn't been before and she loved it.  This time I got the nachos with chicken to share and the Paso MAC & Cheesesteak.  My friend got the Cobb salad.  Everything was delicious, with generous portions.  I love the vibe and energy of this place and will be back.  Local tip....get there early on the weekends.  It gets super busy!!! Great place for the family to eat. We did get some looks at other restaurants due to the mature crowd/kid scenario, was a relief to bring the kids to Jeffrys. All dishes were fantastic except mac and cheese was a bit bland, service was friendly and great. Highly recommend the brisket and pulled pork, slaw was yummy as well as the beers on tap. The serving help was delightful, the menu was buried. The mac & cheese was out of sight, potato chips, homemade potato chips came with a jalapeño kind of dressing. We recommend you mix equal parts with the buttermilk ranch. Just to take down the heat a little bit. My friend and I both had the barbecue chicken salad which was absolutely out of sight!. If I could give 1,000 stars I would! Easy communication and wonderful set of owners, great group of people working who love what they are doing, and The food is to die for. We had the tri tip, chicken, Mac n cheese, asparagus, and beans for our wedding and even the kids were going back for plate fulls! My now husband craves the chicken all time ever since we had the tasting last year. The team was so nice and helpful we couldn't have asked for a better catering family. Guests absolutely loved the food and couldn't get enough and wanted to know if they have a store front or restaurant. In for work and craving a good high quality meal. My only regret is that I had to get my food to go instead of being able to sit and enjoy it in their hip and modern dining area. That being said, the service was still great. The staff helped me choose between several delicious sounding options, and gave me a glass of water while I waited for my order.Like most places in this area the food is a little more pricey than you might expect (especially if you are coming from another state) but not extraordinarily so. A little hard to find but well worth the time.  As they say, it's in the alley off of 12th and Park.  My wife has a food allergy to tomatoes and the restaurant tried very hard to find items she could eat or that they could fix without tomatoes.  With their help we had a great lunch and they even gave us to go cups of Coke to take on the road with us back home.  We will be back More...

What a gorgeous courtyard and our food was just delicious. Would be a 5 star if the female wait staff (only one woman, the other was very pleasant) wasn't downright rude. I decided to update my review after giving this some thought. You can't go wrong here at Jeffry's! The food is always top notch. I have recommended this place to so many people and not one of them has ever been disappointed. I know personally I was never the biggest fan of brisket. Jeffry's definitely has changed my mind. Talk about a perfectly made piece of meat! Get it however they make it. The brisket sandwich is top notch. So delicious! The brisket Mac & Cheese is a personal favorite of mine.  Not once have I been wrong with getting it. There are many other delicious options on the menu from the Tri Tip sandwich to the wine country cobb salad. A fantastic variety of beers and wine too. All in a very welcoming, outside, open air dining area. It's definitely can get quite busy at times but the wait is more than worth it. Jeffry and his wife, Kathleen are so warm and friendly too. Really good foods with awesome outside dining! Went here on our way back from SLO and needed a place with outside seatings for our dog. We ordered the brisket mac and cheese(yummy!) and the tri tip sandwich(good, but the sauce is a bit overwhelming, would ask for sauce on the side next time). Check in in Yelp for 10% off. The waitress is very friendly, she brought water for our dog without us asking. The outside space is very clean, we saw them mopping the floors multiple times while we were there. Highly recommended! Best kept locals secret in all of Paso Robles! Place was packed when we got there at 4:45. I got the tri tip sandwich and I have to say it was honestly the best tri tip I have ever had in my entire life. Atmosphere is really nice and has brewery/winery type outdoor feel. Prices are moderate and well priced according to the quality of food and wine. Orders come out quick. Met the owner who was super attentive to all guests and seemed like he truly has a passion for what he does here. I would fly back to Cali tomorrow just to get another tri tip from here.
