Staff are extremely friendly here! Came to the gym this morning without my water bottle so i walked over to the front desk to buy one. Jess was behind the bar she couldnt locate the key to the fridge to get me bottle. She told me not to worry and asked me where i was going to be working out, she ran to her car fetched her OWN bottle of water and gave it to me free of charge! This made my whole week! Just had an induction with one of the personal trainers and it was a really good experience. I explained that the last gym I was at gave me an induction and it was that bad I was close to tears and ever returned. I got squeezed in for an induction in 20 mins even though I had booked an hour slot, rushed round and made to go on machines where there men huffing and puffing at me to be quick and the trainer said i had embarrassed myself. Lifestyle were great, i was show all the equipment and how to use it all, i got all my body fat,metabolic age etc measured and a food plan. I felt really looked after and was treated with respect. I have been going to Lifestyle Fitness since it opened back in 2012. I moved to this gym from LA Fitness with my personal trainer. I really like how spacious the area plan is and how it offers many different types of equipment including monkey bars and ropes (which I haven't seen in other gyms). There is a separate women's area too which is great for those who like to exercise away from men. I know they offer various classes which my flatmates have been to and rate. I also really like how they offer healthy catering (omelettes/chicken) after your work out. High priced but good for those protein keen. I have been with my personal trainer Rob since 2012 who I recommend highly. He offers a high end training plan and has abled me to build up core strength to squat 95kg. For £19.99 a month Lifestyle is such good value for money! There are loads of classes at all times of the day and the trainers really push you to get the most out of them. Some classes are understandably busier than others but I've never not been able to get in one - there's no need to book ahead either which is ideal! Took over the old Virgin Active that was here, it can be a little bit difficult to find (park on the 3rd floor if you're coming by car) but once you're here you'll be glad you made the effort, it's not a gym that's full of posers it's for those that are dedicated. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
1-2-1 Personal Training - my Personal Training quality is second to none, focusing very specifically to the client. Your training will be adapted due to the results of your mobility, posture and lifestyle assessments, taking into account any injuries, and of course devising phases to get you as efficiently as possible to your goal with the most recent, scientifically proven training techniques and methods.
Training Programmes - these are included with your Personal Training sessions, and can also be purchased separately.
They contain the prescribed exercises, target rep range, set number, rep tempo, rest periods and also technique pointers.
Mainly used for any sessions you do on your own outside of any PT sessions.
Nutrition Programmes - these are also included with your Personal Training sessions, and can also be purchased separately.
Your macros are calculated to ensure you are either in a calorie deficit or surplus, depending on your current goal. I calculate these values based on your ge, gender, weight, height and body type and design custom meals for you to prepare for your days.
Supplementation Programmes - this includes your prescribed supplements, what their purposes are, serving sizes and also when to take them, so you are never left unsure.
External support - I am always available for advice during working hours, and will keep you updated with any extra information that will benefit your fitness journey.

I love helping a diverse range of people lead a better lifestyle, so that they feel better about themselves. It's a passion, not a job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started bodybuilding from the age of 15, and found that I had a natural passion for it, therefore I went to University and studied Exercise, Physical Activity and Health, became a qualified PT in the process and thought of a way to make a living of my passion and qualifications combined.
