My long and varied career to date has been focused on International Marketing and media, specialising in Online Marketing since the early Compuserve days. I have worked and consulted for major blue chip companies and market leading brands including Vauxhall Motors (NI Country Manager), Trinity Mirror Newspaper Group (Regional Head of New Media - Belfast Telegraph), British Telecom (Online Marketing Consultant), Roberto Coin Spa (Online Marketing Consultant), Polygon.net (Online Marketing Consultant) and Guinness/Diageo (Online Marketing Consultant).
Additionally I served in a pro bono role as Marketing Director of the Software Industry Federation (NI) for two years while employed by Trinity Mirror Newspaper.
I am now working in Dundalk, Ireland in e-gaming as a product manager for Boylesports (Ireland's largest Independent Bookmakers). In the first year of this position, I exceeded an ambitious first year plan by 40% All KPIs are similarly exceeding expectations.

The company sent me to London on training courses and seconded me to advertising agencies (incl McCann Erickson) and to media companies.

I established Belfast Telegraph Online from scratch and led a new media division of 12 people. I was acknowledged as having led the way for the regional press online through the strategy I developed for Regional Press at Trinity Mirror Newsapper Group. I was a regular speaker at Newspaper Society Conferences in London, contributor of articles to New Media Age and Revolution Magazines and wrote a weekly Internet Column in the Buisness Telegraph. I was also sent by Trinity Mirror to Editor & Publisher conferences in the USA and to see what leading publishers in the USA were doing in New Media including the New York Times, Knight Ridder and the Seattle Times.

Christmas Cracker Promotion
In this promotion we were giving away £10,000 in prizes ranging from cash, bingo bous money, games bonus money, ipods, ipads and iphones. The qualifying players received an HTML email with a unique link that clicked through to the landing page with a flash animation showing our naked Boylebingo man dressed up for the festive season and waving his large cracker. The message on his modesty board was personalised to the player and they were invited to pull his Christmas Cracker for a big surprise. After doing so, the cracker explodes revealing the prize won by the player and if cash or bonus money, a unique bonus code was included fo them to redeem their prize. I designed a range of new HTML email templates for Boylebingo with automated welcome emails, day 2, day 7, day 14 activation emails and day 28 cross-sell emails. There were also a range of reactivation andacquisition email templates developed.
Super Free Bingo Campaign
I ran a 3 week fully integrated above-the-line TV campaign with a Super Free Bingo offer where players could play free bingo for real cash prizes, but they also had the option to upgrade free tickets to 'Super Tickets' to win much bigger cash prizes. This offered a way to monetise the usually costly free bingo offer. The central figure in our previous 'No Lose Bingo' campaign was re-used but this time adorned with the red S logo on his chest (same logo as used on the Bingo superbooks tickets) and a superman cape. This certainly captured the attention of our female target audience.
Sponsorship of the Dream Idols UK National Tour
I planned and implemented the sponsorship of the Dream Idols UK National Tour for the bingo brand, which included a high profile involvement at th European Premiere of the Hollywood Movie Magic Mike in London starring Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey. The tour featured a unique strip bingo game promoting the bingo brand and the bingo card distributed to a 30,000 female audience contained a unique promotion code redeemable on the website for a guaranteed win worth up to £1,000 in bngo bonus.

In 2011 I developed and launched a fully integrated above-the-line, through-the-line, below-the-line and online marketing campaign in the UK Market for the bingo product. My campaign was shortlisted for Best Online Marketing Campaign at the Totally Gaming Awards.
