I started to work with Melissa after being invited to go on a skiing trip in Colorado, about 2 decades after my previous ski outing. We worked together intensively and my knees were strong enough to let me enjoy the trip. So we continued our workouts for more than a year and I'm feeling much younger than I am. I highly recommend Melissa and Randy to everyone middle-age and older to turn back the years.

I went to Melissa for personal training. I injured myself twice in a row before finally getting a professional to help me get fit and avoid injuries. She helped me gain new healthy habits and helped me improve my existing knowledge of exercises and posture. At the beginning she even referred to a great physical therapy place to help with my shoulders. Green Rocks fitness is an amazing place and Melissa is an amazing trainer/person. More...

I recently finished the Reboot program. Totally transformed my thinking about food. I feel so much more healthy and stronger. The trainers are experienced, compassionate, thoughtful and inspiring. Received personalized attention with a program that was designed specifically for me. I am so happy to know them. Changed my life around health and fitness and am sharing with my family! I recently completed the 21 day reboot, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to "reboot" their fitness and wellness! Melissa and Greg are knowledgeable and caring. They designed workouts for me to achieve my desired fitness goals and also avoid recurring injuries. After about 2 weeks, I started receiving compliments on looking slim!!
I've always been intimidated at the thought of working with a trainer, but I never felt an ounce of apprehension walking into the gym.

Thanks so much to Melissa and Greg and RYS community. I’m glad I found this place at the right time. Although I’ve been working out since college, being a busy mom of two and in my mid-thirties, my current routine was no longer working well for me. I needed something different. This was it! I consider myself pretty savvy in health/exercise/nutrition (or so I thought) until I started working on both an exercise and nutrition routine with these guys. Loved the combo approach and honestly feel empowered and like I’m learning so much. I feel better than I’ve felt in a long time, and this is only after completing the 28 day challenge, so I hope the progress keeps coming! Definitely worth giving it a try - what do you have to lose? I recently finished the 28 Day for Her Challenge. I’ve always been intimidated in the gym. Gyms can be daunting places for us plump folks! I generally stuck to cardio exercises believing I would lose more weight & become more tone. I have tried every fad diet known to man, and believed that if I wanted to lose weight, I’d have to restrict my calories to 1200 per day, give up dairy, sugar, and potatoes, and try in vain to ignore my impulses to binge eat. I am happy to report that I was completely wrong!

Melissa & Gregory are very kind, patient, & encouraging, not just in the gym, but with their knowledge of training and nutrition. My fellow ladies in this group have also been very positive influences on me, and the community they all provide is welcoming. It’s nice to not feel like I’m doing this alone. If you are ready to make a seriously positive change for yourself, and are willing to keep an open mind and put in the work, I highly recommend Rys. I’m looking forward to continuing on this journey with them.
