I hate mushrooms and the mushroom ravioli is still one of my favorite things ever. Also one of few restaurants outside of big cities that offers buying a round for the kitchen to say thanks, I highly recommend doing so!

Rye is definitely a gem in the Fox Valley. The atmosphere is a relaxed Americana. Not to stuffy yet a little bit of class. The staff was friendly and efficient. Out bartender was especially helpful in finding my wife a drink she might enjoy.Plates average around $30. It's a little higher than average for the Fox Valley however the food is... real. All fresh and prepared to order. I had chicken marsala and my wife had the Wester Ross salmon. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. Oddly I was most impressed with the green beans with my plate. They were fresh, crispy but not chewy and very tasty.We will definitely return for another date night. More...

I've been to the hotel bar several times, and the restaurant bar twice. I've always had a very pleasant experience, and was always treated very well. For example, when I was sick recently, the bartender made me a soothing Hot Toddie, which numbed my throat. The food was amazing, and as expected, on the pricey side. The bartenders are always knowledgeable, and very kind. I will definitely be going back!! More...

I had a side salad that was very healthy!! Their own dressing but it was light and tasty. I also had the clam chowder. It did have a lot of clams which was good but the potatoes were large and not best for soup I didn't think. I also like it creamier than it was but the flavor sufficed. Excellent . One of the best meals I've had in awhile. Had the Angus fillet..AMAZING!!! Cooked to perfection. Absolutely gorgeous presentation. Waiter was perfect, not absent and not over powering.
