I can’t say enough good things about Terry and her training! Bunnie was terrified of other dogs and would not listen to me whatsoever outside of my home but now, even though it’s still a work in progress she is able to walk with other dogs without reacting or barking, have play dates with other family members dogs, run off leash on my property with amazing recall and actually enjoy going different places. Me and Bunnie are now hooked. I will forever be recommending her training to anyone who has a dog that can benefit. I can’t express how happy I am with the patience and training techniques Terry taught me to use with my sweet but terribly stubborn 2 year old I adopted a few months ago. She’s very smart and quick to learn. Her ears seemed to turn off outside however. I had hopes of her being free to roam off leash on our large country property. Before taking her to Terry she’d run off close to road and the neighbors. The day she ran across the road I knew I needed help. Our road has a lot of traffic. She had to be leashed or penned when outside for her safety. That seemed like a sad existence for her to me. Now with her E collar she’s free to run the the property. She’s thrilled to be free from her leash and I’m happy knowing I can keep her safe. I highly recommend seeking Terry’s K9 training for your pet. It’s such a joy being outside playing with her now! I cannot say enough amazing things about Terry & Ryan K9! When I first brought my pup, Marvin, home, I knew I wanted to invest the time and money into his training and we couldn’t of chosen a better person! Not only is she extremely professional but the training, skills and obedience she not only taught Marv but myself as a dog owner has exceeded any expectation I’ve ever had. Marv absolutely loves when we go to see Terry! When I learned that Terry also boards & trains pups that go through her training program, I couldn’t have been more excited. I have always had family take care of Marv when I take vacations or weekend trips. However, my family and I recently vacationed in Hawaii and Marv had the pleasure of staying with Terry & her family for the week. Being nervous and anxious leaving Marv for the week and being very far away, I was quickly calmed knowing that Marv was in the best care because Terry treats Marv like her own! Terry has helped us transform our nearly one-year-old misbehaving pup into a new dog with improved behavior and more discipline. We sought Terry's assistance after getting Marlow, our Labradoodle, and having issues with him jumping on people, tables, counters, etc., taking items/belongings that he was not supposed to and eating or swallowing them, and just wanting to work on simple commands in general. One of the things we liked the most about working with Terry was her ability to explain things and take her trainings/sessions one step at a time to ensure that not only WE understood the concept of what we wanted Marlow to learn, but that Marlow himself understood it before diving in too soon. We missed out on early training with our two sibling pups and it had gotten to the point where I couldn’t control them when I had to take them out alone. We contacted Terry, after a family members recommendation. We started with private lessons where Terry taught us techniques and introduced us to training tools and how to use them. Within the first week their obedience was so much better and after the second week they were walking on a leash with no pulling. Our dogs have gained confidence, learned obedience, how to walk on a leash properly and we even worked on their reactivity to other dogs (through group training). I can now leave the house with both of my dogs and feel confident that I can control them on my own! Which makes life much more enjoyable for all of us.
