When my wife and I began the process of searching for a custom home builder, we contacted several local area builders. Of those I contacted, Dale came and met me at my lot that very day. While we discussed what I wanted, it was very apparent that Dale had extensive experience and knew how to build a luxury and energy efficient house. He also educated me in what sort of square footage, design features, etc that I could expect within my specific budget.

As we went through the design process, Dale patiently allowed me to bounce floor plan ideas off him, trade cost scenarios, and even offered advice on my lot selection. At our preconstruction meeting, he and his team walked us through all the choices and decisions required to get our house built. They shared the experiences they’ve had with certain choices so that we could make informed decisions about the smallest detail. Further, they offered their honest opinions on design selections without being overbearing.

The construction phase has been very exciting. The RH’s subcontractors have been professional, performed quality work, and been timely. Most notably are the cabinet, trim, and tile crews, who have performed outstanding work. Our house is being built far more swiftly than other custom homes in our neighborhood, with no loss in quality. Dale has been attentive to our issues and concerns and any we have had were dealt with promptly and professionally, and in some cases ingeniously.

All said, working with Ryan Hartman, Inc has been a very rewarding and worthwhile experience. More...

We feel very lucky to have found Dale and his team. We are already dreaming up another building and we wouldn't use anyone else. He's very straight-up about what works, what doesn't, what's out of budget, etc. The inspectors that came in couldn't find anything wrong - even our own independently hired post-construction inspector found nothing to fix, which the inspector said is unheard of among custom builders. We love both the house and office they built... and joke that they should start a maintenance company too because I have them saved on speed dial - they seem to know everything and just the right person to call. Dale Schneider, owner of Ryan Hartman, Inc., is the only person we wanted to build our home. He is a man of impeccable integrity, whose meticulous attention to detail is unsurpassed. He spent countless hours with us throughout the process in person, by phone and email listening to our desires and vision. Dale hires the very best sub-contractors and is on site practically every day, often multiple times per day. We are grateful for the many recommendations he gave us such as the Vertex water heater with the recirculating system. He is emphatic about building an energy efficient, "tight" house. Our utility bills are proof of that! Dale has years of experience and a wealth of knowledge. We have been in our new home now slightly over two years and we still frequently comment to each other about the quality of workmanship, all thanks to Dale. More...

The Ryan Hartman team was truly a pleasure to work with. They built us our dream home. At the time we lived in NYC and was going through the process out of state. The communication and follow through was amazing. We made several changes but the team was only happy to help and give their candid feedback and advice. I highly recommend Ryan Hartman. You to will enjoy your new home.

I would also ask about their energy efficiency products. We asked Dale for his advice on the best products and our monthly bills are very conservative compared to neighbors with the same size homes.

We have lived in our home for 3 years and are still very happy. I still have a great relationship with the Ryan Hartman team. Occasionally I call and ask for their advice and they are still happy to work with their customers. More...
