We took our Christmas & daughters 2nd birthday pics while visiting Kauai over Thanksgiving. I couldn't be happier with the way our pictures came out! Recently had a family and big brother reveal photo shoot with Ryan! The photos turned out great and we got way more than we thought! ! I loved his use of light and the natural objects (willow tree, sunlight, location) around us. One thing that I thought was great that you won't see in his photos is his kindness. Not only toward our 1 year old son but also his respect toward other photographers (there were 4 in the same location!) I discovered Ryan through a friends recommendation and after really easy communication we set up a time and date to shoot some photos for me and my salon. When Ryan showed up he arrived early and was completely prepared with everything he needed. He had all the equipment one could ask for and had a really great and artistic eye for what shots would look best. Ryan spent approximately a half hour in the space taking photos and moving stuff around and when he was done he put everything back in its place and cleaned up. He was very fast, and very professional. The pictures he took look great and are super high quality. I will use Ryan again any time i need more pictures or videos taken. More...

I cannot speak highly enough of Ryan!! Ryan drove from Portland to California (at Union Hill Inn) to photograph and video my wedding! He was so amazing to work with, anything that I needed he was there to help with- backdrop for our photo booth, a stand for this or that. Wow! Ryan was amazing at capturing our pre wedding party and our wedding day. I didn't even know he was there, and yet he captured incredibly beautiful video. He's easy to work with and incorporated changes into the final video so it was absolutely perfect. He is also super affordable and much more laid back and focused on what we wanted than a lot of other people we talked with in Portland.He's also a great sport - his drone crashed at our wedding (probably costing him a ton of money) and he didn't even flinch, just grabbed it, smiled, and carried on.
