This "gym" is like no other. I haven't worked out in years and figured I would give it a try seeing as it is class-based and led/monitored by trainers. I knew that if I joined a regular gym, I would fall into my old routine of getting there, being bored, and not pushing myself and then falling out of the routine altogether. However, this place is in a completely different ballpark. The classes are 50 minutes long and broken up into intervals with an instructor guiding you on what to do and how to do it. I've been coming here for a month now and going 3-4 times a week and have never endured the same class twice -- it is different every single time! I love it because you are tricking your muscles and working out your entire body at the same time. Also, you monitor your heart rate in each class and try to get it into desired zones at different times. This keeps your mind busy and makes you want to work harder so you reach these goals -- which also makes the class fly by. I have never been so challenged and excited by a workout ever in my life.Another plus is that they have an full-body scan machine that gives you your own personal stats (i.e. body fat %, etc) and an app for your phone that will track all of your workout results so that you can see your progress over time; that is a motivator in itself. I think the best part is that you don't feel intimidated in these classes, you can workout at your own pace, and they offer modifications if you aren't able to do certain steps.
