Talk about a margarita you can feel ! WHEW! I only had one frozen frank the tank margarita , it was so delicious and worth the 9 bucks entirely . I'm used to going to place where they have expensive drinks I can't feel and taste like only juice or soda which is so disrespectful lol so today I was feeling like a TACO TUESDAYYY CONNOISSEUR I found this snazzy place on google when I typed in taco Tuesday near me . Great reviews and great customer service right upon entry. I was asked if I wanted table or bar seating. I decided to be sat at the bar where I was helped by a lady named Nine, she was nice and helpful she told me about the taco Tuesday taco special which were the fried oyster tacos and the carnita tacos . Omg they were so mouthwatering and juicy . I've never had an oyster taco but that was one for the books , juicy and the slaw and aioli compliments . The carnitas was a hefty helping of meat and did I say they were $2 each ! I will be coming back count your days RuRu More...
The shrimp quesadilla (meet my nieces) was spectacularly good. It was just so flavorful. Unfortunately, the house margarita (friend zone) was disappointing. It was a very small portion and tasted just ok. As a place with "tequila" in its name, I expected better. The ambiance was good with large windows in the front of the restaurant from which to watch life passing by on East Bay Street. More...
Went to RuRu's for taco Tuesday & I had the best time! They will usually have one taco for $2 but all of their tacos are under $5. We started our meal with chips and queso (a very decent portion). Their margs are strong and tasty. The ambience is perfect for a date night or a simple dinner out! Will definitely be coming back! More...
Great find for lunch while exploring Charleston. Terrific guacamole and fish tacos and the creamy white beans were outstanding. Staff is friendly, attentive and not overbearing. Clean and relaxed atmosphere. Loved it! More...
First time there, and loved the food and atmosphere. Recently relocated back to Charlotte, and the outdoor patio seating reminded us of some of the spots in the West Village and SoHo area. Great food as well - definitely will be back More...
The food was amazing and our server was excellent. I would say an opportunity for growth is with your host... I asked if we could be moved to a different table, preferably because I didn't want to share my conversation with everyone in the cramped section we were sat, she said "it's like this everywhere" and dropped our menus and walked away.. Didn't care for her attitude, especially when there was an empty table further away. I'll be back, but it will be a bit. More...
Nice atmosphere, food was fresh, great service! Had the guacamole and split a fajitas with double meat (chicken and steak). Good came out very fast and was well seasoned. Good value More...
Tequila and Tacos w/ my favorites for a late lunch . I had never been to RuRus but heard good things about this cute restaurant. Drinks were good , we all had something different but my fav was the "Frank In The Tank"....it was their house margarita frozen and I got strawberry added to it (hunks of strawberry) They have a plethora of tacos but I'm sucker for any taco with steak in it . My friend got a taco "long duck dong" which was my favorite out of all of them ...it had "Korean Style Sweet & Spicy Steak, Pickled Cabbage, Sesame Seeds, Cilantro" btwn the service (our waitresses checked on us multiple times , was knowledgeable and had plenty of recommendations), our yummy food and good drinks I give them 5 stars and I would go back . Yooooooooooooooo ( I only put yo because yelp said I need more characters.) That shit was goooood asf!!! No cap go fw it!
Very good tacos. Fast service. Great drinks!!
Great tacos!!!! Taco Tuesday is great. Only issue I've had is service. It's kinda slow. We are always late going back after lunch hour.
This is basically my Mexican restaurant in Charlotte. I often find myself sulking when friends recommend other places and they pale in comparison. See I'm very simple, I like good street tacos with quality ingredients and good guac and queso. That's it! If you meet that need you've got me. Service is always great and so are the drinks. I'm usually more than satisfied with two tacos. I've ordered 3 one time and that day I went home with a taco in a to-go box. I've tried a little bit of everything there and haven't gone wrong yet. If it's nice out I would definitely recommend sitting outside, the indoor seating is pretty chill. The outdoor tables seem to be way more lively and honestly when I'm at a taco and tequila spot I want lively. Parking looks like it would be a big issue but honestly I've never had any issues with finding a spot. I feel like this soot is a bit of a hidden gem but I'm totally okay with that! More...

The food and service are wonderful!
Great fast service and no long waits. Great tasting food and amazing service. The tacos our A1
Loved it. Great food great service and great drinks!!!
From Tennessee and have eaten at this location twice, a year apart. Good food and big portions. Didn't have any tequila this time but we will be back again next time we are in Iowa.
Brandon needs a f*@#%ring raise! Hands down the best server I have ever had! @brandonwalker
Late dinner and our waiter couldn't find the chefs so he cooked our food for us. Brandon Walter needs a frickn' raise. Our food was amazing. The alcohol was good too.
My new favorite mexican food place in Charlotte
Really enjoyed this place food was good ....
Everyone enjoyed their meal at this popular restaurant. Get there early on Friday night or you will have to wait for a table.
My go-to spot for good tacos.
Love this place! Great patio, dog friendly, drinks, football on a Sunday. Not authentic but theyre not trying to be, just good mexican food
RuRu's has such a huge variety of tacos it will blow your mind. I absolutely loved that there were so many choices. The menu is also very fun and unique since all the items are named after famous movie lines. The shrimp and mahi tacos were my favorite. I highly suggest if you're in the area and looking for a new take on tacos! Also they have a very extensive tequila menu. The patio seating is very nice. More...
Loved this restaurant. We had our dog with us so we ate at the tables on the street. The food was so amazing. I'm now in love with tofu fajitas. Awesome margaritas and the waitress was so friendly. Definitely will go back. More...
It was my first time there and I enjoyed every minute. A few tacos were on special for taco Tuesday. They were priced fairly cheap.
I lucked up on my first visit and came on Tequila Thursday! Margaritas and Tequila shots 1/2 off. Oh and the tacos were delicious!! I'll definitely be stopping by on my next visit to Charlotte! And will definitely be recommending to friends! More...
The tacos, queso, guac, and drinks are all AMAZING! Need I say more Does get pretty busy and parking is limited so keep that in mind.

Fabulous food and atmosphere! Great service too!
Ok, sooooo I love this place and cannot wait to go back! Decided to check this place out during my bi-weekly girls night and it did not disappoint. First, finding this place and entrance can be a little tricky if it's your first time. I suggest you find parking one street behind and walking up through the patio! With nice weather -- absolutely SIT OUTSIDE on the patio. The inside is beautifully decorated for those who are into outside seating! Food -You absolutely need to order the trio (salsa, queso and guacamole). I mean, I cannot even pick a favorite because they were ALL good. It's the perfect starter if you're just coming for happy hour or splitting with a group! There were so many selections on the menu that sounded tasty, I honestly struggled on what to pick! I settled on the shrimp quesadilla and yeahhhh BEST CHOICE. Drink(s) They offer margarita pitchers (~4-5drinks) so this is an option for larger parties! I loved my spicy margarita and would recommend to anyone who likes a little spice in their life! Cannot wait to go back with Husbae More...
L O V E this place! Great outdoor seating/patio. The best part is the frozen margaritas. Super strong only need two & youre feeling just right. Tacos & burrito is amazing as well.I have nothing negative to say about this place. If youre looking for a great date night, out with your friends, or just to try a new place I would 100% recommend this place. More...
Great atmosphere and even better food/drinks
Fat Guy In a Little Coat, Slappin the Bass, and the Get Off My Lawn tacos.... amazing! I'm going back to try another set because they all looked so good. Love the atmosphere as well.
Time well spent...
It's 7pm on Tuesday. Lively premises with lovely outdoor and indoor seating options. A friend and I find our way to the hostess and opt to sit outdoors. The ambience (5/5) is lovely, dare I say perfect for a casual date. Our waiter is clearly busy but takes the time to cordially greet us and answer questions about chips and salsa, which we do order but never arrives (not on the bill, no harm done). Don't remember the specific names of the tacos, but I order 2 of each $2 taco special (pork, chicken).Food: 4/5. Some really solid, well-seasoned, not messy, reasonably portioned tacos, but nothing out-of-this-world, as the meats were a little dry. For $2, still well worth it. Don't get me wrong, I'd take them over a lot of other taco joints in the area, but not anything life-changing.Adaptability: 2/5. When I last came with a friend, they were able to substitute the meats in the taco specials for tofu to accommodate vegetarians. This time, our waiter adamantly denied the availability of that option. My vegetarian friend opted for a veggie burrito bowl, a bit disappointed that no Taco Tuesday specials were available for him.A little disappointed at the lack of accommodation for vegetarians and the fact that the meats were really quite dry, but for $2 tacos, I'm not complaining. I'll really consider giving RuRu's another shot, maybe in a few months. More...
I wish I could give it 10 stars! When we arrived we put our name down hoping for a patio table because it was a beautiful night to be outside but we opted for a bar spot because there was no wait. The service at the bar was great and quicker than expected even with the food. The food was so good, the best queso and guac I have had, probably ever. The trio with the queso, guac and salsa was perfect to share and the chips weren't overly salty like most restaurants have. I like that the tacos are smaller so you can try a few different ones and the prices are so cheap! The toppings for the tacos are as fun as the names and really make this place better than the rest! It was awesome, the atmosphere was nice, the waiter was funny he had a great personality and last but not least the food was delicious.
What something a little tamer on the wallet (Yes, it is possible in Charleston), with a little humor and good vibes RuRus is a great spot for both. You gotta love the names of their Taco plates, Burrito's and bowls "How do you like them apples", "Shirley you can't be serious" to "Fat Guy in a little coat", the names will have you reflecting on the entertainment world from yesteryear. Gotta love the combinations that bring to the tables, RuRus for sure brings a unique mixture of taste and south of the border plates to this great Charleston establishment. For instance pork belly in a burrito, "cilantro marinated steak" and for sure some vegan and vegetarian options as well. The Ahi Tuna salad is amazing and RuRu's has a full bar with some local craft beer to choose from as well at a full drink menu. They do have a Sunday brunch would sounded great as well. With our 3 little dudes, we were also thankful for the kids menu, which isn't always a guarantee at Charleston establishments, but RuRus caters to everyone and comes with good tastes as well, looks like they always have a special going on each day. As whenever we passed by their was something new out on the board enticing all of us hungry customers to try RuRus. The service was great with our young boys, trying to connect with them and keeping them entertained, you always appreciate that. RuRus did a great job.So with that, give it a go, clean, great decor and for sure in a good spot with lots going on right there on E Bay Street. If you are looking for Charleston finest, this isn't it, but you won't be disappointed either and RuRus does bring something a little different then your typical, taco, burrito place, after all your in Charleston you got push the envelope a little. RuRu's does it tastefully and in style, well done. More...
Awesome place we stumbled upon! Noah and Peter behind the bar were amazing, very helpful and super friendly! Mango-habanero margaritas were on point. The nachos and chips and dip trio were really good! Will definitely go back for the tacos next! More...

Great outdoor patio. Favorite Mexican food venue.
Nice secluded restaurant in a very nice area
Great place! Very nice tacos and salads. Nice fresh vegies and the meats were awesome. Decoration both exterior and interior is awesome and so is it’s architecture. I will definitely come back!
I would give this place a 4.5 if I could! The tacos were yummy with so many crazy delicious choices, prices were very reasonable, and service was fast. Would for sure go again!
Met some friends here who were introducing me to some place new. There's a front and back entrance, so I'm not sure which I used. LOL But was glad to get inside and enjoy the ambiance, service and flavor. Nice servings of appetizers to share. I had a huge burrito. Even I had to take 1/2 home, and that's unheard of. Yes, it was late and I wasn't starving... but I'm still usually pretty good at leaving no evidence of what was on my plate. We had to rush because the kitchen was in closeout mode... but they were still pretty nice about hanging in there for our orders. Server did not rush in giving us clear descriptions of menu items we questioned. More...
Atmosphere was wonderful, food was delicious and reasonable. I will be back
Good tacos. Fun place.
Very good tacos with fun names

Great customer service too!!
We visited for a late lunch on a Saturday. The ambiance is very nice and clean. We ordered the queso which was creamy, but no spicy. My husband ordered a quesadilla and it was a great portion, he wasn't even able to eat it all. I ordered the fat guy in a small coat, and the ground beef taco. Both were excellent! The house margarita was delicious and hit the spot! Great service too. We will be back! More...
Get the long duck dong taco if you want your life to be changed for the better. Impeccable service and RIDICULOUS portion sizes for their guac queso and salsa. I would recommended 10/10. Seriously make your reservation already you won't regret it. More...
Great patio to eat and drink the night away! Food was delicious and staff was attentive.
Really great ambiance but the tacos are meh. Loveddddd the guacamole though and the portion is huge if you get the appetizer. Their margaritas are really good too. Gets really crowded after 6 though so prepare to wait a little while but it's a Fun atmosphere and great for big groups. Would like to give 3.5 but I'll give 4 since that's not an option More...
Tacos are absolutely delicious. My favorite is the ‘Lookin Good Louis’ - it is to die for. The mimosa was just as tasty, fresh not too sweet, not too sour orange juice and champagne served separately (Mini bottle of champagne poured over orange juice in front of you). The only reason they didn’t get the 5th star is because they don’t serve complementary chips and salsa like most do. This was my 2nd time here and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back! More...
Great place and excellent service
The food and customer service is always quick and amazing!! And to add, they have a great atmosphere— perfect for get together es and casual dinners

We had a great time with a very large party at RuRu's the food was fresh, the drinks came quick and were tasty. A great night all around.
Great service and the food was very good!
Honestly the BEST Mexican food in Charlotte!!! I've tried many different places but the food is always subpar. However, RuRu's was a different story. The food was outstanding and seasoning was phenomenal!!! They even had some fun names for all of their food and drinks. We went on a Thursday and they had half off all tequila and margs for $3 extra and buy two tacos get one free! Atmosphere was very laid back and photogenic. They have outdoor seating and allow cats and dogs. We brought a dog and they even gave her a dog bowl full of water. Not sure why this place has 3.5 stars but they deserve far more! This is for sure my new fave spot for Mexican food. Food pictured: "I am McLovin" chips and queso (my favorite part of this meal), Tacos: "I'll have what she's having", "Fat guy in a little coat" and "Long duck dong". More...
OMG! RuRu's is awesome! From start to finish I really enjoyed this place. I came in on a Sunday evening with friends and the were busy, but still didn't have a wait. The drink and food variety is great. They have awesome texMex style cocktails. Mezcal varieties and as well. We had chips and salsa to start...Not your boring old chips and salsa. The salsa came in a variety of flavors and heat levels. The chips were fresh and came hot in a warming bag. Our waitress was very very friendly and checked up on us frequently. I had a burrito...it was so GOOD! Great flavors, a little sweet and spicy (it's how I like it), and fresh crisp cabbage...just like in Baja! RuRu's is my new go to for Mexican. More...

Great food and service was ok but the drinks were not!!
So far the best Mexican food I've had in Charleston to date as spoken from a Los Angeles native. We tried a few of the creatively named tacos. They do an awesome job with homemade tortillas and the chicken bowl...to die for! More...
RuRu was amazing. Beth the bar manager was absolutely the best human I've ever met at an establishment. Great atmosphere. Great people. Great experience. You have to try to ghost pepper tequila! Would recommend this place to anyone! More...
My first time trying this place was yesterday. I went in with high expectations after hearing what everyone had to say and the reviews of the place, they were mostly spot on. The salsa is not free. You have to order it if you want it, I recommend getting it. They have a trio with guacamole, salsa and queso for 16 dollars. Not a bad deal. We had the guacamole and practically scraped the bowl clean. We both ordered tacos, the list is very descriptive. The only taco I wasn’t impressed with was the long dong duck, it was flavorful but the steak was on the fatty side, if you appreciate that then order it! My partner ordered pork belly carnitas and we both swooned over it. Get the white beans, they’re a ruru classic, different but bold flavors. The patio is fantastic, 5 dollar margarita Monday’s can’t be beat. I will come here again and try a quesadilla or burrito next time! They also participate in 2 dollar taco Tuesdays. More...
One of the few places in Charlotte where you get amazing tacos with perfect ambience and settings for perfect evening.
Travis, Peter, Noah served amazing drinks tonight and were so accommodating with all our questions. The frozen "FRANK THE TANK" will definitely take the edge off. Kyle was our waiter tonight and he was so busy due to the hectic Saturday and he didn't miss a beat. There's tons of choices and the names are comical. Our taco "fat guy in a little coat" delicious as well as our vegetarian "you had me at hello" bowl. The cheese, beans, spices, flavor.... yum. Highly recommend this place. When you get great service and delicious food you know it was a good find. More...
Disappointed that they've become a "straw free" Restaurant. Really The food is very flavorful. I had the chicken fajita but the chicken was a little tough.
Only giving 4 stars because I am not a huge fan of their margaritas. I think I have tried everything including the frozen ones. They just taste like something is missing. BUT their fish tacos are amazing and it is becoming a biweekly staple for me. More...
Awesome space, great food and drink, with friendly helpful staff
Food and service are great. 3 for 2 taco prices rock. Only feedback I have is: no WiFi Really? I came to sit and relax and catch up on work emails. I had no service. I would’ve stayed longer, spent more $ had WiFi been available. Now I’m behind on my work. Ugh More...
This is a fun spot. Cool lively atmosphere and fun menu options. Food is decent and service is good.
I love the specialty tacos that they have for taco Tuesday.
Some of the best names for dishes ever. Spent 10 minutes just going over the movie quotes and placing them. The food was phenomenal qnd reqlly diverse so you have options. Tremendous experience on a Tuesday evening. The 2 tacos I had (Fired on Your Day Off, Get Off My Lawn) tasted delicious and the portion size was plentiful. There's a host of different tacos to try. The staff was very pleasant and the outside dining was spacious and serene. New Fav for sure!!! More...
This place is really great. Love the tacos and margaritas for sure. The staff can be a bit hit or miss. Either they’re really good or not great. No in between.
My first time here was great. The food was delicious and was prepared very quickly. Courteous service and a great atmosphere. Will be back again!!
Excellent food, drinks and service. Glad we went!
Great drinks! Good food! Great atmosphere!
I wish I took photos! My wife and I just wanted to stop and grab a bite to eat after a long drive and decided to go to a new place. We moved to Charlotte from Austin, Texas, so we are hard to please with Tacos. RuRu’s DID NOT DISAPPOINT. The food was absolutely delicious and our server had the best personality. I wish I could capture how great everything was in a google review. Excellent patio and some excellent tacos with fresh ingredients. I felt great after eating a ton. This place is not trying to be an authentic Mexican restaurant, and I love that they don’t apologize for it. Can’t wait to go back on another date night. More...
Delicious as always
Very good choice to come here to eat! Our waiter Alex didn’t lie us about how good it is!
Great food, awesome outdoor cantina feel, and close to Uptown.
If you're looking for an affordable place with very good tacos then look no further. My friends and I were very impressed by the portion sizes of the tacos and the variety that this restaurant offers. I really enjoyed how they had a good balance of vegetables to protein and that they had a lot of options to choose from. Not to mention that their menu was also so fun and hilarious. One of the tacos is called "I'll have what she's having" and it was a title that made our night. Be careful about what you choose though because some tacos were a standout whereas the other ones were just mediocre. The group of favorite was the jalapeno stuffed cheese tacos, followed by tacos that had fried fish, and our lease favorites were the chicken based tacos and the steak tacos. I would recommend this place for a good friend get together or if want good Mexican food. Last thing, the churros were also a hit but the cheesecake was not so popular among my friends. More...
Went to this place on a whim after jet skiing and it was AMAZING! Brandon was the best server I have ever had. He had me and my sister laughing the entire time and was so attentive. I like how the tacos are a la carte so you can mix and match because there's so many good choices. We started off with the Billy Ray Valentine - it was delicious. I had the stage five clinger and the long duck long tacos. I preferred the long duck long but they were both good. My sister and husband both got quesadillas which were very filling. Definitely would recommend! More...
I've been to Ruru's 3 times and I have not been disappointed. Food is always so delicious and comes out soooo quickly. Good place for a date night.
Very good tacos ( I had the stage 5 and it was the best taco I've ever eaten). We also got the rice and corn sides which were delish. The tres leches was also v good! Our server was kind and attentive. Def recommend. More...
The menu is funny with everything named after a famous movie line (and a Friends reference). The spicy margarita was good and had a little bite to it. The chips with salsa, guacamole, and queso were perfect for sharing. The salsa was fresh and restaurant style (pureed). The guacamole had a good garlic taste. The queso was my favorite. The tacos were so good that I ate them as soon as they came out. There were a lot of choices. I tried the Korean beef with had a really good sauce but the steak was slightly chewy. The shrimp taco was good but had too much aioli. More...
Love RuRus! Fun atmosphere and fantastic tacos. The Korean tacos are hands down the best. I really hate that chips and salsa aren't complimentary though, and to be honest, they're not worth the $5. The Vote for Pedro drink is great and very spicy. Great for a casual date night! More...
Awesome Mexican and taco spot with creative menu item names! The patio is one of the best in Charlotte (especially at night) and the menu has over 15 different tacos all for right around $4 (they're a great size too). Arguably the best tacos I've had in Charlotte here and the Margaritas are great and are only $5 on Mondays. The only thing that stands out here warranting the 4 stars is that the chips and salsa isn't free (a big thing that stands out to a lot of people). Not only is it not free, but you're charged in full if you get more on top of what they bring when you first order it. While it's great salsa (with lots of full chunks), it's still something that most places wouldn't charge for which can add an extra $5+ to your meal. Overall, a great spot though! More...
Great place, decent prices, strong margaritas, good scenery. Busy but not a long wait like the others down the street. All of the menu items have 80's Movie lines as the item name. I knew quite a few of them. Tacos are a bit small as I was hoping me they would be larger given the price. But they were good. The Shrimp Taco (fat boy) was good and the sharped dressed man (Steak Strip Taco) More...
I can't believe it's taken me so long to come here. I really had a good experience. I love the menu, there are so many options to choose from. I like all of the entrée names sine they are named after movie or television lines, very creative. The guacamole was soooo good. I also loved the margarita. It was so refreshing and delicious. The staff was friendly and although they were very busy, they were still courteous and quick with making drinks and taking orders. I love the bar and patio area. Despite the small appearance on the outside, it's actually a pretty big place. There is a parking lot, but it gets really packed and the spaces are extremely tight. More...
By far my favorite taco place in Charlotte. Can't go wrong with any of their tacos and their margaritas are excellent! Buy 2 tacos get one free on Mondays!!

Food is always great here. Favorite taco is the long duck dong!
Great food and great service.
Good service and tasty tacos and margaritas.
Mexican food... my preferred treat. went there on a saturday. the service here is friendly. it has a cool interior. they have so many great reviews for a reason.
Love the margaritas!
Good food. The service was very fast from the kitchen. We ate at the bar,but the service was so so. The food was all reasonable between $10 to $15 per entree. The single tacos were $3 to $5. All of the beers were $4 - 6 and most mix drinks #9-$10. More...
The first thing that I noticed was the roominess of the dining area. Open concept helped the ambience. Draft beer selection was good. Mexican and local craft beers. The burrito had a queso sauce which was unworldly. Wifey had the Clarence Beeks quesadilla and loved it. My steak was a little chewy; however I'd definitely recommend this place. Also the whole bill was 45 dollars. Very reasonable for all that food! More...
Ebru is amazing & makes great margaritas!! The drinks were great and her service was awesome while we were waiting for our table at the bar.
Excellent service!!! Great food!!!
As expected it was packed on a Tuesday night, we went up to the hostess, we were not greeted nor had eye contact. Until we said hello ! Party of five, she said we will text you, but didn't ask for our number. Then we had to go up to her yet again..aside from the lady at the front desk our server was phenomenal. He was very friendly, attentive and professional. We always checked on us, and made sure we were always taken care of. More...

Service was exceptional especially on a busy taco Tuesday. Our waiter was amazing and kept coming back to check on us despite all the tables he had to handle. I got the buffalo chicken which was the fired on your day off I believe and I got a get off my lawn. Both were very delicious and super fresh when they came out. I also got the I am mclovin which was also really good!!The only downfall was finding parking, it's a lot going on around the building which was also a little hard to find since the signage isn't that big but I needed up parking across the street. Some of the best tacos in Charlotte, just saying. I went during lunch hours and got the buy 2 tacos and get 1 free deal. These tacos are so big that I could have done only 2 tacos, but why not enjoy an extra one on the house? I got the I'll Have What She's Having, Stage Five Clinger, and Fat Guy in a Little Coat tacos. All 3 tacos were packed with flavor. My favorite was I'll Have What She's Having. The Mahi Mahi mixed with the sweet and fruity pineapple salsa really hit the spot. All the protein was cooked to perfection and the toppings were crisp and fresh. The only down side is they don't have free chips and salsa :( More...

Unfortunately I ordered a killing me smalls margarita & it was straight up lime juice w/ jalapeno flavor just awful ...traded it for a blood orange frozen ,which was rough & then only to discover that it was from a machine & not freshly made. I will go back to the house margarita next time More...
Beautiful day to enjoy the patio for having lunch. The meal we had was delicious and the service excellent. I live in Winston-Salem, but when I am in Charlotte, I always go to RuRu for a meal.
Amazing food and drinks. I know it's weird, but I judge restaurants on their chips and salsa, and Ruru's are the best. Amazing patio, drinks and live music as well!
Wow this place is AMAZING! The food was so fresh and delicious and everyone was so nice. Our food came out no longer than 5 minutes after we ordered it and it was so good! Our server Cory was so friendly and helpful. This was my first time here and I was happily surprised. Also, the tacos have cool names which made it fun. We will definitely be back! More...
Our first time but certainly not our last! Great tasting food and service just as fabulous. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a quality meal in a restaurant with a great vibe! We will be back soon!
Ambience is top notch. Indoor and outdoor bar, beautiful patio tucked away to make you feel you are at a friends house having tacos and tequila. Service was amazing. Highly recommend this place. When you go, the guacamole and chips is a must!!!! More...

I LOVED IT! I was visiting my sister and she recommended we stop in and I am so glad we listened! I had the B2G1F tacos and all 3 were delicious. If you have a chance to stop in and try the crispy chicken with corn salsa, you will not disappointed! Also make sure to try the 3 Amigos Dip Starter! Today was the taco special. Buy 2 get 1 free. There were several choices and each one was delicious! The queso and chips were a good starter and also Tuesday was $6 glasses of wine. We sat outside as it was a pleasant day. Our server was friendly and very attentive. More...
Our dental office had reservations last night to celebrate the birthdays of both of our doctors. It was a first time there for many of us and we all LOVED it! Our server was very attentative and while professional, he still had a great time with our party. The tacos were delicious! I personally had the grilled mahi, the carnitas and the Korean beef taco- they were all top notch! I even ordered the same to take home for my husband to try and he said that they were awesome! We had a quiet corner to ourselves. The drinks, queso and guacamole were delicious. The live music outside after finishing up our dinner really made it a perfect night. Thank you so much for such a great experience- we will be back soon! More...

Great place! Went Saturday Night as an early Father’s Day celebration. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was very good. The place is beautiful and the bar outside is very nice. Highly recommended. Will definitely go back. More...
Love the ambiance of this location. It's unique and inviting. The menu has so many interesting varieties to choose from. The names alone are entertaining. The appetizer we chose was "Finding Dory" which was a fresh ceviche type dish. Very flavorful and light start! It Was the Dukes" (pork was good but the taco was bland) and "Fat Guy in a Little Coat" (nice steak and good flavor) were my tacos of choice. I would visit again, especially for their featured $2 Taco Tuesday! More...
I would give rurus 10 stars if I could. Hands down best taco spot in Charlotte. They knock it out of the park in every aspect- food, drinks, service, ambiance, etc.
Been many times, and it's been nearly perfect every time. Tonight, however, they killed it. We had a friend's birthday dinner there, and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Sean (Shawn? Shaun?), the manager, needs a raise. And Mary, our server, brought her A+ game. More...
I went to RuRu's for the first time last night and I loved it. The food was great and server Kimberly was super nice, efficient and helpful. Ben also stopped by to give me some menu pointers. It was a great experience and I can't wait till it's a little cooler so we can sit on the patio! More...
First time for lunch and so wonderful! Celebrated a co-workers birthday and they sure made it special!
I just left this place for an interview,,it's very very nice ,,it has a outside bar. I hope they hire me. They won't be disappointed.

Fun ! Great atmosphere
Always the best margarita's and tacos. Ben is a great server! Ask for him!
Lovely food excellent service
Great and interesting dishes, indoor and outdoor seating
This place is awesome. The food was excellent and affordable. The menu items are named from famous movie lines, even the music playing from the radio was great. Definitely going back.
Great daily lunch special, but 1 tacos get on free. Great food selection with funny names. Loved the service and the outdoor patio.Prices are very good considering the location and the quality. More...
Love the outside patio. During the week 3 for the price of 2 Tacos!
Nice environment, tasty tacos
Their menu is just what it says: tacos and tequila. It has a fun energy and a refined appearance all at once. The tacos promised great flavors and ingredients and i was not disappointed. I've had better, but it is definitely worth a try. The sangria was bland but the house margarita was great. Try the "fat guy in a little coat" and the mahi More...
Dined here with my girlfriend on Sunday around noon. I got You're Going the Wrong Way x2 and a Stella and she got You Had Me At Hello with a Strawberry Margarita. Very reasonably priced for the portions they give you, and we both enjoyed our dishes very much. Given how crowded most of the other restaurants on the same street were, I'm surprised there weren't more people there. The environment was super casual and the staff were friendly. More...
Review is based on the second visit this evening....FABULOUS!!! Our first visit when they first opened was rough to say the least! Bad fish, wrong order, no plates for food...and service was really rough...FAST FORWARD...tonight was excellent! What a fun restaurant. I went with a friend, we sat at the bar and had cocktails, appetizers and shared a rice bowl. It was really good. Guacamole and chips were very yummy and we loved the salsa. It was a good beginning. We also ordered a vegetarian rice bowl to share and it was very tasty. The bartenders were really nice and lots of fun and we had a great experience. We were there mid afternoon so there was no competition for a chair. The restaurant is pretty big and there's a room with sliding doors for private dining. Its got a great vibe inside. It's a nice set up and I'm definitely going back to experience more of the menu. More...

Wow, such a beautiful evening to have a late lunch on the patio while enjoying a cold Corona and three tacos. The three that were suggested to me were It Was The Dukes, Long Duck Long, and Why So Serious. Hands down Long Duck Long was the best! I will ma km e my way back there again soon. More...
We were visiting our daughter in Charleston who took us to the French quarter. Happened on this place by chance. We had the absolute best service we had had in Charleston! We sat outside and people watched while we ate the delicious food there were four of us and we all agreed. We started with the trio of fresh made guac, homemade salsa, and delicious queso.I will post pictures so you can see the deliciousness but I definitely recommend this place More...
Finally visited RuRu's after many recommendations from our friends and it did not disappoint! We got the Three Amigos and substituted the regular queso for the Billy Ray Valentine and everything was delicious! I especially loved the guac--I found it refreshing and fresh tasting--and my boyfriend loved the queso and salsa. We each ordered a couple of tacos to supplement our dips, but honestly would've been fine with just one because we left absolutely stuffed. We both agreed that the Long Duck Dong was the best taco of the bunch. It is Korean-style beef and is scrumptious! I can't wait to go back and try some more. They also have tres leches and churros for dessert, but we were too full to try either. Next time I hope! More...

Cool vibe, the food was delicious as well as our cocktails. A great place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo
I love their tacos here. They are so filling and delicious! The flavors mix so well together. My fave is the Long Duck Dong. I've heard it's their most popular every time I order it, lol. I gave them four stars because I had their chips and salsa and their salsa tastes like store-bought instead of house-made. I'll definitely come back and try their other items though since their tacos are so good! More...
Wife and I just ate lunch @ RuRu's. Loved the tacos, quest, and a fantastic margarita! Friendly place, really good food, and good prices!
Tacos were fantastic. The different selection and styles made it easy to want to come back and try new things. Only issue was being new and not knowing where to go. A hostess saw us standing and just stared which was very odd but another worker saw us and helped us out. Overall the food will make us come back. More...
Yes you need to go for your self
great bold flavors
Love the selection of tacos available. It is somewhat pricey but the food is major nomz. Oh! Don't forget a margarita while you're there. So smooth and yummy.
My favorite tacos and margaritas in the city! The service is great and the staff is awesome.
mexican food... so great. Visited at eight, it was not full. I think I might become a regular. This place has a nice atmosphere.
The best tacos I've ever had! Didn't know you could have great tacos vs everyday tacos, but in this case, they were great! We had RuRu's for the first time in Charleston, SC. We were willing to drive 5 hours to get more, when we discovered a RuRu's 1 1/2 hours away. The food at both is great! The salsa is phenomenal and apparently the guacamole was too. The servers several bowls of guac while we were there, as well as our husband's sharing a bowl, which they devoured. My husband and I ordered some extra food to go, so we could have some for lunch on Monday. I got the "why so serious" with chicken instead of beef and it was delicious. The steak in the "long duck dong" tasted great too. This place was slam busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 mins.. We were seated in front of the kitchen which was completely open. Despite the servers constant traffic back and forth around our table, it wasn't too bad. Not sure I'd want to sit there again, but it wasn't terrible. Next time we hope to sit on the patio. Service was a little slow to start, but I think that was bc the waiter had multiple tables seated around same time. Rusty made a great waiter. The Manger was on the floor helping keep tables cleared so people could be seated sooner, but he took 5 mins to speak to us, and explained the history of the two restaurants. More...
Very good. Fun on Monday nights. $5.00 margaritas.
You never miss a beat when dining in or getting it to go. I absolutely love this place...best tacos I've ever had
I can't recall the specific dish that I get here but it is a burrito topped with RuRu's sauce which is a spicy (sort of smoky) sauce. If you like spicy this should be a must try. Will definitely be returning. More...
RuRu's has some of the best Mexican food in Charlotte! Their guacamole was very fresh and their tacos were great. What really put it over the top was their quiet patio that made it perfect for a late afternoon lunch and drinks! We got regular beef tacos and then a carnitas taco and "I'll have what she's having" grilled mahi speciality tacos. We both really liked the specialty tacos! More...
Really good tacos. Love the menu names. Drinks are ok.
Best tacos evvvveer so delicious! Spanish infused ambiance really different & cool vibes! They have nice outside seating. Great service also
This place is awesome. The food and drinks were phenomenal (and the names on the menu are hilarious) and the value for the price is really high. I really enjoyed this place and think it is one of the best spots in Charlotte for Mexican fare. Sat outside during the summer months and am looking forward to warmer weather to sit outside again! Tacos were great, beautiful patio and nice atmosphere. Didn't like that they charge for chips and salsa.
This place is definitely on my list of favorites now. That Korean bbq style taco is to die for. I’m a taco fiend and this place for sure hits that spot! Amazing environment and and food! The service we received was pleasant and quick! We are glad we found this place!! Such an amazing jewel to find!
Ask to get a Long Duck Dong rice bowl, you won't be disappointed. Just make sure you ask for the cabbage slaw instead of lettuce.
Second visit here. Great food and service ... Frank the Tank Margarita's are unique & awesome. Our server Ben was very informative of what to get and super fast service. Will be back again!
very good food and great atmosphere
Tonight we had a spontaneous date night to RuRu's and it honestly blew me away, we started with chips and salsa (pictures below) and kicked the dinner off with some tasty margarita's which were $5 on mondays! Being our first time there we decided to just pick tacos at random, and OMG...these tacos blew our minds...The explosion of flavor that hit you just instantly took you to that special place (haha) as I finished my tacos I said "these are the best tacos in Charlotte" this is my new hangout and can't wait to go back and try it again! If your looking to impress a date or just go pig out on some amazing food, we highly recommend this place! More...
RuRu's Tacos + Tequila is located on East Bay Street in Charleston, SC. I went to eat at this restaurant for dinner. Before walking in, there was outdoor seating with large windows which were overlooking East Bay Street. I had a burrito that was called "How Do You Like Them Apples" and a draft beer. I enjoyed my meal overall. Food/Beverage Quality: 9The Food was excellent, the prices were reasonable.Food/Beverage Quantity: 8The Food came in big serving portions.Value for the dollar: 8RuRu's is not an expensive restaurant, prices are great and reasonable especially for the large serving portions.Service: 9We were told by the hostess that our server was slammed with tables. She took our drink order instantly and was very nice. Server was also attentive to drinks needing refills. Decor: 10It was a very colorful and bright restaurant. Pictures around restaurant were of Downtown Charleston. There was a very large square shaped bar with seating all the way around. I had a great overall experience dining at RuRu's, I do not have any complaints. I liked how warm and friendly the server was. I was annoyed by the people who sat outside our window. One suggestion that I would throw out there to make the experience better would be for the hostesses to be a little bit more organized, we stood at the hostess stand for more than 5 minutes. More...
Such a great Mexican place!!! We were so happy to get a reservation for a big party and had excellent service. Margaritas were best around and plenty strong!! The blueberry add is a must. The menu is absolutely darling with the cute names for all the items! The three amigos appetizer is needed! Chips came out hot and crisp, guac is incredible, and queso and salsa are to die for.The tacos were the only downfall. They were good but not great, could definitely have a little more meat and toppings but there were a lot of options and all the food came out hot.Overall awesome place with great service and recommend to anyone wanting a mix of casual and cute!! Great spot for delicious tequila and tacos! Tequila was 1/2 on Thursday . Service was FAST and friendly. Highly recommend!
Great spot with good service, good food and good drinks. Lunch deal is buy 2 tacos get 1 free. Heads up, they are straw free, don't even have paper ones. Awesome patio and bar outside. Menu is all named from funny movie quotes so that makes ordering entertaining. Tacos are good and the service is great too. Always have had a good experience! More...
Even though I got lost trying to find this place the food was great. If you come in through their front entrance you have to walk all the way down to the back by the patio to see a host. Only thing I didn't like was coming in through the front and being lost and not being greeted by someone. We had tacos and burritos. Our waiter was great and the food came out fast. Great environment. More...
Obsessed!!!! I can't even explain how much I love this restaurant! My family and I ate here two nights in a row (yes, it's that good!) and it's always so yummy! I totally recommend their Three Amigos appetizer which is queso, guacamole and salsa with chips! More...
They have outdoor seating that is dog friendly in addition to indoor and bar seating. We were greeted politely and seated right away. The menu has some interesting options that you don't see in a typical Mexican restaurant so I was excited to try them. Unfortunately for me, I am one of those cilantro tastes like soap people and our server told me that all the proteins are marinated in cilantro. We started with queso and chips which I found to be rather bland and the chips tasted straight out of the bag. We also ordered the guacamole which my table mates enjoyed but I could not eat it. With my servers suggestion I ordered the quesadilla with banana peppers and mushrooms. It just didn't do it for me. My husband ordered two tacos and had me taste the shrimp. I could not detect any cilantro flavor and felt kind of cheated that I could have had a protein after all. But that's on me, not them. My stepson had a burrito the size of his head and ate the entire thing. My experience was lacking thanks to my genetics, but my family enjoyed what they had. More...
The I Am Mclovin chip and queso were very good. We had theFat Guy in a Little Coat, Long Duck Dong and It Was The Dukes tacos. All were delicious. My favorite was Long Duck Dong...sweet and spicy Korean beef. The best part of the restaurant was Brandon W, our waiter. Very friendly, attentive and a great conversationalist. If you go, ask for him! More...

Tacos and Tequila! They do it right here, with great cocktails and some craft beers, plenty of food menu items in addition to many different tacos to choose from. Service friendly.
Great drinks, great tacos, great atmosphere. Great great great!!!
One of the best places to get tacos! The food was amazing and not super greasy like most tacos I have tried. Great portion size and value for the price. We ordered for pickup so we didn’t sit in the restaurant but the place looked cute and clean. We definitely want to go back for dine in service. The actual restaurant is difficult to find. It’s in a small plaza but hidden in the back. Once you see the sign, it looks like you have to go downstairs but the entrance is the door to the right of the sign. I highly recommend RuRu’s! More...
Best tacos I've had in Charlotte yet. The names are a little much, but the quality of meat and ingredients is outstanding. Most people could do 3 different tacos, and be sure to get some chips and salsa/queso as well. Traditional beer choices, with some local brewery favorites as well. Lots of tequila options, and other related mixed drinks. A must go-to spot in Charlotte. More...
Can’t wrong with buy 2 get one free tacos for lunch on taco Tuesday. Nice atmosphere, great drinks, and a free taco! See you Tuesday.
My only complaint is that I didn’t know about this place sooner! It was delicious and I’m bringing my husband back to try it soon.
This place is filled with awesomeness!!! Cocktails, food, service.... top notch!
Really good... All the sauce on the calamari was not necessary since im not a saucy person but it was good.. It would have been better though with sauce on the side or a few squiggles under some fresh crispy calamari fries.. The sauce soggied them out.. Bummer... I really liked the shrimp taco but the other one (fish/mahi mahi) could've used a little seasoning on the fish... Margarita was amazing.. I had a buzz off 1 drink.. Definitley worth the $9 for a small cup More...
I tried this new East Bay restaurant on a Sunday evening. It wasn't too crowded so there was no wait to get a table. Really cool tiling on the floor and around the bar area - not that it has any bearing on the quality of the food or service. I really enjoyed the food! We ordered queso - loved it with the green onions in it, not spicy at all. They brought us a salsa because they'd accidentally prepared an extra - it was also really tasty and not spicy. Chips weren't warm or anything, but they were ok. I ordered the Mary Samsonite salad and was really happy with the taste & freshness! Lettuce, cheese, red peppers, tomatoes, tortilla strips, and dressing. It was a really large portion, could not finish it. My son had the kids quesadilla which looked good, but it was $6 and came with no sides or drink, which I thought was a lot for a small cheese quesadilla (no meat). My mother ordered a chicken nacho platter which was HUGE and very yummy, but she asked for no lettuce and it was served with lettuce. They did offer to fix the issue. Waitress was super friendly and attentive. All food was served in a timely manner. The strangest part of my experience was the "frozen" strawberry margarita I ordered. It was not large yet cost $9 (overpriced) and came out to me in liquid form with pieces of strawberry chunks in it. So strange. I asked if that's how it was supposed to be (because it wasn't frozen at all!) and she said yes. Just very odd to me - seemed more like a not frozen margarita with strawberry pieces mixed in. It was also dangerously strong, which some people might like, others might not like. It tasted good, but I would just order a regular margarita if I go back. Overall I would recommend - food and service were good! Just avoid the not so frozen strawberry margaritas. Oh, best part is probably the names of all the menu items. Love it! More...
This place was in the cutest little shopping center. I wish it had been a nicer night because their patio looked so nice. We had queso and salsa- both great and not too spicy, I honestly do not love queso but here it was amazing. I had 2 ground beef tacos and yum I wish I had ordered like 7 more. Pretty cheap eat!! Will definitely be back next time I'm in Charlotte! More...
The food is great...fantastic guac!!And 5+ for having Hornitos Silver tequila The wait staff is attentive and on point
Went there yesterday off a recommendation and glad we did. Was a cool place. Everything on the menu has a movie theme as the name of the dish. We ordered "The Three Amigos", a Queso, Guacamole, and Salas combo. They were not included but had to pay for them. But it was worth it. The chips were fresh and the dips were great and fresh made. Had a plate of 3 tacos. Was a lot of good food, that couldn't finish. Had a Fat man in a little coat! And the ground beef taco. Wife had a shrimp taco, a fish taco and a tofu taco. She said they were all great! Try it and enjoy! More...
This is my new favorite taco place! They have outdoor, indoor, and bar seating. If you're outside you can bring your dog. The place is very clean and we were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was very helpful and friendly. The menu is full of great options, not just tacos. All the items have funny names from and quotes from popular movies and TV shows. The tacos are priced for one each. I ordered 4 and could only finish 3, barely. They were so filling and delicious I had trouble picking only a few. They have a full drink menu too. I had a frozen margarita which was great. They don't skimp on the alcohol. Two alcoholic drinks, 7 tacos, and an appetizer totaled $59. It was worth every cent. I'd recommend this place to everyone! I love the atmosphere of RuRu's. I love meeting friends and family to enjoy a nice lunch or dinner, especially when it is warm outside. Their outdoor seating is fantastic and their food is also great. I also love that they have vegetarian options. The service is great as well, they are very quick and constantly check on you. Today I ordered four tacos, guacamole, queso, and salsa. Everything was great, I absolutely love their queso. The only non major issue I had was that the Mahi Mahi was overcooked in one of my tacos, otherwise than that, everything was excellent as always! More...
Coolest taco place in town. The outside patio is lined with lights and heaters when it's cold outside. The drinks and tacos here are so good. They run specials every day all day, most of which are drink specials with the exception of Taco Tuesday. On Tuesdays they have two selected tacos on special for two dollars. They make everything in house so food is super fresh. The TRIO is good enough for a meal itself. They even allow dogs on the patio!! This is the best Mexican restaurant in Charleston. My BF and I tried to escape the rain as we were exploring downtown. And the food, host, server and the ambiance is really good. You fall in love with the inviting outdoor decor stone like exterior first; when you enter a open space where you’re met with cozy dim lighting. Ordered the 3 Amigos (salsa queso and guacamole) taste perfect ! Tacos and child quesadillas for them entree were absolutely delicious- neat bright appealing presentation , there are a variety of modern taco styles to choose from and the prices are reasonable. I could go on - I literally had to pull myself away from the table. A little crowded on the seating area where I was but not much of an issue. More...

Everything is super fresh and simple and the ambience is great! The staff is very fun and friendly and the music is great!
I had a really great experience at this restaurant last night. It was our first time going so I wasn't expecting such a crowd, we didn't make reservations so it was a 30 minute wait. Once we were sat we were welcomed by a friendly waiter. We got our appetizer within about 10-15 mins after ordering and our good about 20-25 mins later. The food was really good and the margaritas strong! They have a really cool outside area too with a bar and heaters. I can't wait to go back when it's warm during the summer. So yes I definitely recommend this place. More...
Best patio in town! I love the stage five clinger taco as well as the billy valentine queso dip. This place is addicting once you find your order.
So yummy!!! Margs, tacos and queso were all delicious! the location is great and the staff is very friendly.
We stopped in for a drink after a day ofwalking. We sat at the bar and were served by Cat ( meow:)) My marg was delicious. Cat was very nice and personable. We saw an appetizer that my sis and I decided to share, the bend and snap. It is an open face taco served on a lettuce wrap, I could do without the egg in the dish, but otherwise it was fresh and a very attractive presentation. This place is a nice, quiet, and intimate setting nestled in a corner so it's hard to see, but worth coming. The tacos were amazing and I will recommend anyone coming here.
Great food. Great service. Drinks are good. Great atmosphere.
Excellent place to relax with coworkers. It is unfortunate they aren't open till midnight.
Busy place on a Sunday evening. Food was great. Our server Conner was great.

So many cool Margarita choices
Best Tacos Everrrr!!!!!!
Great service and quality food & drinks!
Great food and excellent ambience! The Margaritas are very good, tried the jalapeño margarita but too spicy for my taste buds! Great and attentive service.
Excellent and funky atmosphere. The food was delicious!
Great food, fun place, great time with friends, wait staff excellent
Drinks are amazing and appetizers are even better. My team loved it
Headed here for Taco Tuesday with a friend and it was great. Luckily it was a pretty decent night outside so we were able to sit outside on the patio. The patio area was very warm, inviting, and they had heaters out there. I got 2 of the $2 tacos which for that night was a pork one and a meatball one. I also got another which was $3 or $4 and it had fried chicken in it and some other delicious stuff. The only thing I thought was a rip off was the margarita I got. It was $8 or 9 and honestly was so small to me... (given I was comparing this to just going to a regular mom and pop hispanic place and how BIG their margaritas are for the same price). However, the tacos were great and filling and a good size. They had some really neat flavor combos. All of the other stuff on the menu besides tacos looked yum and I noticed healthier options too. I would definitely head back there and check them out if you haven't already More...
Great place to eat, the food is always good basically everything on the menu is good! Great service and friendly staff!

Inventive tacos and great service. A great place for lunch.
Amazing food, and great service!
All of their food is excellent and the outdoor area os really cool in the warmer weather.
Hip it may be, but the food is good!
One of the best patios in town, RuRu's is a great place to spend a summer afternoon outdoors. The margarita and drinks menu is top notch, beer selection is fairly extensive, and we've never had a bad appetizer. The "street" tacos are inexpensive and show great variety and uniqueness. Their fajitas are great (recommend mixing shrimp, chicken and steak, for a minimal upcharge), and they will double the meat for a small price increase. The service here is a little hands-off once you receive your food/drinks, but otherwise attentive and fast to place orders and bring beverages/food. The decor is super chill, feels very much like "old Mexico"; lots of dark wood and terracotta tile. Love the communal benches in the main room, similar to a taproom. We recently had a company event in their private room, which is great for parties of 8 to 12 (maybe more?), and received perfect service and food. The parking is confusing until you realize there's a huge lot in back, though it is often full. The place swings on weekends, expect a wait.Downside: sometimes on weekends or evenings they have live musicians on the patio, and they set them up by the open door to the host stand, it can make the entire place a bit loud, inside and out, and the acoustics suck - so it's not even that enjoyable. Absent the musicians, this place is a solid 5 Stars, and we return regularly. Apparently we're not alone, as we have seen local sports superstars and recognizable Hollywood stars here as well. Had a little difficulty locating but once found, all was well. You enter their parking lot from a side street so just be aware. The outdoor space was very nice and looks like it would be awesome during warm weather. I started with the "I Am Mclovin'" (cheese dip) and the "You Talkin to Me", jalapeño margarita. Both were very delicious. For the main course I went with the jasmine rice bowl, "You Got no Legs Lt. Dan". The names of the dishes were super funky and I loved it. The rice bowl was larger than I imagined but was very tasty. My friends had the tacos and have great reviews. It was my first time at RuRu's but looking forward to dining with them again! More...
Love this place! Great patio, dog friendly, drinks, football on a Sunday. What else do you need? F the haters!
Great atmosphere, nice patio if nice weather, good food and drinks.
The cheese dip with chorizo is soooo good!! We got several of the tacos and they were all great!!! Would highly recommend. The atmosphere is awesome too!!
We had awesome food and amazing service. Highly recommend, great atmosphere.
Nice, clean, enjoyable environment. Victoria is the best waitress ever. Great personality and always makes sure your food and drinks are served to perfection.
Fantastic lunch (including 3 for 2 tacos every time I've been), great beers, patio seating if the weather's good. What's not to love?TBH, my favorite is "Death by RuRu" burrito, but it's a one way, inescapable trip to a sleepy afternoon. More...
Enjoyed food and staff
Wow is all I can say! Their jalapeno margarita is the best I've ever had and their tacos are to die for.
