I cannot recommend them enough, and especially Alex, who was helping me regain full motion after an ankle fracture. Always smiling, understanding, kind, he knows and enjoys what he is doing. I am more than grateful for his help. More...

After seeing a consultant and having an MRI scan at St Saint John's Elizabeth Hospital my husband was told he had very little cartilage in his knee and needed a knee operation to remove the most damaged parts and was unlikely to get better without surgery. He decided to delay having the operation to see if the knee would improve Some of the swelling went down and the knee became less painful I suggested having 1 to 1 Pilates with Neil Smith might help He was septical at first but the exercises and posture changes to the way he walked as taught by Neil Smith Improved things further more The pain he experienced whilst walking has entirely disappeared and he now walk any distance and has made a complete recovery This could only be due to the carefully controlled exercises taught by Neil Smith on the Pilates Reformer. Great physio practice I’m a fitness instructor and had quite a lot of physio last year as I developed a sports injury a ligament tear in my knee from running Dominic was brilliant he gave me ultrasound and acupuncture and occasionally sports massage all this really supported and helped the problem. I was also training to teach Body Pump and we had to ensure the problem wouldn’t affect my progress. This year I’ve come to the clinic a couple of times the knee issue is back to normal and I’ve had sports massage with Alex Marr who comes from a rugby background and understands the tightness I have from my teaching Pump classes. The clinic is a lovely place all the staff are friendly sympathetic and so helpful. More...

I have been going here for several weeks for the condition Golfers Elbow. When I first went I was in so much pain and unable to use my right arm . I have had treatments including acupuncture ,ultrasound and massage ,all have helped in the process of my healing greatly, but what I found most valuable is the great advice and education about my condition ,this has enabled me to gradually start using my arm again with the confidence I am not doing any damage . I am now using my arm almost completely normally without pain. I would like to say a huge thank you to my physiotherapist Dominic . More...

Having played rugby for many years the stresses and strains of the game have taken a toll. Paul has treated me for more injuries than I care to remember and provided exceptional advice, treatment and aftercare on every occasion. Irrespective of the issue (whether a minor strain or long-term post-op rehab following a significant injury), he always provides first rate physiotherapy in a warm and welcoming manner. He takes the time to explain the issues you are facing and outline a plan for getting you back to full fitness. He also has the ability to make you feel like you are his only patient by never coming across as rushed in his work. I've been treated by many physios over the years and can honestly say Paul is one of the very best I've experienced. It's also worth mentioning that Gemma's sports massage has also proved invaluable. Gemma has treated my injuries for many years (having maintained her links with Ruislip RFC). Most recently, Gemma helped me overcome a niggling calf strain in time to successfully complete a 24hr team run from London to Cardiff. I am positive the outcome wouldn't have been the same without Gemma's hard work and support.I really cannot recommend the Ruislip Physiotherapy Practice highly enough. Exceptional in every aspect - a rarity in my experience. More...

I suffered shoulder and upper back pain and was told by GP that my muscles had inflamed and best way to heal it is by physiotherapy. My first visit to Ruislip Physiotherapy was with a warm welcome by the receptionist.Paul Gibson started the treatment and he was very attentive and explained the causes of the pain I was suffering. He recommended a course of treatment of 7 sessions. I recently completed those sessions and my pain has gone and feel great.I thoroughly recommend Ruislip physiotherapy as the team their are excellent and they always make you you feel at home.Sunil Patel More...

I worked at Ruislip Physiotherapy, Advantage Physiotherapy and Charter Physiotherapy for the past two years and thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Paul (the director) and the physio and admin team provided fantastic support in all areas of the job and facilitated my development with regular supervision and in-service training's whilst also funding courses for development such as acupuncture. I had excellent supervisions and personal development reviews throughout my time with planned goals that were really tailored to my career and interests. The team are also Physiofirst members that provide a great opportunity to leanr and gain an insight into the development of physiotherapy in the private sector and annually provide an amazing weekend with lectures from leading physiotherapists across the world.Across the three clinics, there is a regular and diverse range of patients providing an exciting whilst also challenging caseload in addition to allowing you time to provide a tailored and patient centered approach to care whilst also building a valued rapport. If it was not for a relocation to the North, I would have continued to happily work for the company and would see myself remaining in the role for the foreseeable future of my career. I will always value the experience and the development that I have gained from this role that has progressed by career significantly. The company is a fantastic opportunity for any physiotherapist and you would feel a valued member of the team! More...
