About

I offer a dog walking and pet sitting business. The latter can be for daily visits or for going to stay at a Client's house whilst they are on holiday. I am in the process of obtaining a licence to have pets at my own home (Cats and Dogs) Some clients do prefer pets to be in a quieter environment when they are on holiday, or kept in their own.

A five star review for Carmel. We’ve found her to be very professional and friendly and a real pleasure to work with. We get regular updates when Carmel visits our dog which is very reassuring. Her services have been a real life saver. We can highly recommend her. More...

Carmel has cared for our dogs, cats and small animals whilst we were away and has also visited our dogs to feed them when we needed to be out for an extended period. She is very attentive, always follows instructions and is very thorough. Our dogs particularly enjoy Carmel's company and are always pleased to see her. We are confident to leave our pets in Carmel's care and this means we have been able to have trips away, reassured that our pets are well cared for. More...

We left Carmel looking after our dog for 2 weeks she did a great job. Our dog seems very happy and well looked after. No doubt she is a pet lover.

Carmel walked my 2 dogs for me whilst I was recovering after surgery and she was a Godsend. My 2 little terrors tested her patience by barking and pulling and rolling in terrible smells but Carmel smiled through it and kept them safe and happy. She discussed mine and the dogs needs with me and although I was a bit nervous about handing over my treasures she understood and accommodated us beautifully.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her services. Q&As

I really enjoy being able to make a person feel comfortable that there pet will be well cared for when they are away, or if they are being walked. The reason being that I found holidays stressful when I had my two large dogs, and put them into kennels. I was never sure what their experience was going to be, and indeed when they got older I just didn't go away at all, unless a friend could look after them. Even then, I only went away for week ends!
It can be the same having someone else walk your pet, so hopefully, I can ensure people have trust that I will do a good job.

I also enjoy the experience of meeting lots of different pets, and getting to know them. Its great when they run to greet you, and you know they trust you, and the fun is about to begin!

I was inspired to start the business after my own pets died. I still wanted to have contact with dogs and cats, but without immediately taking on the commitment of having my own again. Since then I have enjoyed meeting different people and their pets.

Simply, I will do a good job. There will be no short cuts. When a dog or cat is with me, they will have my undivided attention and care.It is a business to me, but it is more important that someone precious dog or cat is taken care of,
