I love training with Richard because the sessions are fun and engaging. I remain on task throughout whilst also having interesting chats during our short rest breaks and then when that clock beeps it's back to work, no messing around!
Richard has a way of explaining what the relational benefits of each exercise is to a corresponding body part. I really love this as I now have a knowledge and confidence to train independently and know what I am doing. The physical and psychological gains have been great; my body is leaner I am stronger and look better month by month.
I suffered for years with spinal pain, fibromyalgia, and would overly protect my body to avoid more pain. Ironically, I am so much stronger now, my back and core feel good. I train in the confidence that every exercise is performed using correct form and in safety. I feel much younger now at 40 than I did at 15. I am not overly caught up in this anxiety- inflammation loop I spent so many years in and I trust my body's ability to support me. Richard has a reassuring presence, he is sensible but intuitively knows when to push me harder when necessary. I would confidently recommend Richard as a trainer, He knows his stuff and is 100% committed and dedicated to his clients well-being and enjoyment.

Personal Trainers

I approached Richard nearly 2 years ago when I decided I needed to seriously improve my overall fitness, lose weight, gain some muscle…
I was in my mid fifties and was looking for a pt who could understand my goals, work with me, listen to my needs and devise a suitable programme…
Nearly two years have passed and I’m a different person!!!
My overall fitness level is better than it was 20 years ago, I’ve lost weight, gained serious muscles and overall I’m a changed man!!
Working out with Richard is a great combination of profesional approach, listening and addressing clients’ needs and goals and fun too!
I am very happy with Richard’s work and can wholeheartedly recommend his services!!

Richard and I met in Hammersmith a few years ago when he was a student. Our paths crossed again recently by chance (well nothing is by chance). I was overweight, overwhelmed with life in a deep depression. Richard offered to help me get into shape. After 6 months my life is completely different and has changed beyond my wildest dreams. Richard is a true professional and gifted personal trainer. Not only does he know the science behind it all but he gets the absolute maximum out you every session. Not a second is wasted. Richard is a top quality PT. His one to one sessions really help you to learn new exercises as well has refine your technique on exercises to ensure you are doing them correctly. Richard is a great personal trainer. I'm really enjoying my workouts. I feel pushed to be the best version of myself and the results are really starting to show. Yeah I got muscles!!! I have learnt a lot about training with weights and using proper form which has given me more confidence to workout in my local gym on the days I don't see Richard. Finally a PT that actually knows what he's doing! Thanks Richard. It's been great training with you. Not only have I lost the weight I wanted but I've also toned up my muscles. Richard's approach to training is great, he explains everything we do and really encourages me to push to my limits. I really look forward to our sessions. He has also helped me to understand my diet and given me lots of support in this area. He's also really good on the phone or text and always makes time for you. The home workouts he gave me are tough but they are quick and very effective alongside our gym sessions. Training with Richard is good fun and I love his private gym. I don't always like to train at my local train gym as it's usually very busy so at Richard's gym I can get so much more done. I don't think there are many PTs like Richard with his knowledge, support and good humour. If you're thinking of hiring him don't think twice. Go for it! You won't be disappointed. More...

Richard has been great to work with. He brings deep knowledge, work discipline and humour to the gym. He has pushed me in a good way to achieve development that I never knew I could. The work outs have not only been good for my physical development but also the mental side of life as well. This has helped release the stress of the day in a good way.

Richard plans each session to allow you to extract the maximum from each session.

I pay great attention to detail whilst keeping one eye on the bigger picture. I make sure I understand what my clients want and I am always determined to achieve with them. I know how to motivate. I always make lots of time for my clients whether it's responding to texts about what to eat, whether to exercise or just about anything else!

You have to be determined. You need to be able to visualise your goals so you can really work towards them.

I love working with people one-to-one and seeing the transformation that occurs. It's not just physical but there are many great advantages to getting in shape and living a healthy lifestyle.
