First time I ordered from Royal Design and I made two orders in two days (3rd and 4th Jan). I read all the negative reviews after I placed the orders, I was a bit worried but I thought "oh well, just give it the benefit of the doubt". My both orders were not in stock when I placed them, with 4-6 weeks shipping period. To my surprise, I received a notification from Royal Design on 17th Jan for one of my orders (a rug from Linie Design) advising that the rug would arrive to their warehouse on 25th Jan. I was going to follow it up on 28 Jan given 26 & 27 were the weekend. To my surprise again, I received the shipping notification in the morning of 26th Jan (25th Jan SE time). I haven't received the rug yet but it's on track arriving on Monday 2 Feb. I don't need my other order anymore (a throw from Fritz Hansen) so I decided to cancel the order. I sent the request on 18 Jan and a follow up email on 22 Jan. No reply. I didn't held my expectation high. To my surprise again! I got an email from Royal Design on 29 Jan, advising that my order had been cancelled and refund would be in my credit card in 1-3 business days. I got my refund today (31 Jan). I can't speak for other people, but my experience with Royal Design has been satisfactory, no drama at all! Thank you! More...

I have been shopping from this wonderful store for years. We live across the world, in a country with smaller population than European countries. It's limited to the range our stores stock.Therefore Royal Design is like a fairyland of available homewares, especially for a glass collector. I have never been disappointed. Customer Service department always polite, friendly, and efficient with answering my queries. Always receive order delivered by Fedex as expected. Once only I needed to request a return only because the shade of the colour of the product had changed since my original one purchased, it was facilitated quickly and perfectly. The range of goods available at Royal Design is extensive and fabulous. I can not recommend their internet store highly and am sorry that others feel compelled to write such disappointing comments. R D have been setting up the new website, so there were bound to be some hiccups with the transition, it happens everywhere. It's a beautiful place to shop. Thankyou, Royal Design. More...
