A really well deserved 4 star. All staff here were very welcoming, from the receptionist to the bar/restaurant staff. The decor is great, lovely garden with a lovely view of greenlands.
An outdoor swimming which was lovely. They have a gym here too but didn't use it.
The food at the restaurant was great! Top notch and loved the taste, presentation and also breakfast.
I would definitely recommend anyone going here and I too will be paying another visit!!

Not a bad hotel. Welcoming grounds, pleasant decor, a quirky but fun layout, and a hearty breakfast to boot. Let's just say I wasn't hungry come lunchtime ☺️
Didn't get chance to check out the other facilities like the impressive bar, swimming pool or game tables regrettably, my schedule didn't permit.
Room however wasn't what I'd call 4 star. Bathroom was cramped, dated and in need of a little TLC. Nothing major, just needs a little modernising. The bedroom itself was a bit too warm even with the window open all night, I woke up a few times because of it and didn't quite feel rested.
The staff however were perfect; friendly and courteous, Nicole in particular was very welcoming.
Overall I think I'd stay again, but will bring a fan just in case

Our daughter’s wedding was fabulous.
Firstly, I would like you to thank on our behalf how grateful we were with your exceptional staff in helping and advising us.
We were actually so impressed with your Sales Manager Lorraine for her outstanding and excellent knowledge on arranging a wedding from the minutes of a question to some questions in our eyes were very large, she dealt with them so professionally. She gave me so much support I could not thank her enough even when things were going wrong on the last week. I’ve told friends about her, whose daughters have had their weddings else where, they’ve never had what we received from your Sales/Event manager Lorraine.
The final weeks Josie came into helping us and making sure we were happy and offering such great advise. This lady knows how to run a wedding reception that’s for sure. Her organisation skills were top class she had everything running so smoothly. The grooms parents run their own catering business...weddings, corporate events etc plus brother is a top class London fine dining chef. He found the food along with all our guests that the food was fantastic, it was correct temperature nicely presented evening buffet amazing. Guests actually said on many occasions how competent Josie was in doing her job and organising skills will spot on...absolutely brilliant, all her staff, every one knew when, where and what had to be done. You certainly do have a top class organiser, if that’s what Josie’s title is. Asking if we were happy and could she do more. Excellent organised members of staff.

Fantastic main meal, however the créme brulee desert was burnt over the top and not particularly tasty. Highly recommend the main Sunday roast with delicious and flavourful meats on offer and great sides too. Service is attentive and personal.

We greatly enjoyed our stay here. Our bedroom was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast is excellent. All members of staff were approachable and helpful.
Our only criticism might be that the decor in the bedrooms needs a bit of updating.
We would definitely stay here again when in the area.
