We were recommended Roundhouse Builders by friends who had previously had an extension built so we had seen the quality of workmanship first hand. Mike and the team have just finished our single storey extension and internal modifications to an equally high standard. All the work was completed on time and within budget.We are extremely pleased with the result and due to Mike's knowledge and professionalism, the whole process was stress-free from start to finish. We had Roundhouse builders at our property for 5 months to build a rear double and single storey extension. Mike and his team were fantastic from the start. They were very professional and polite. Mike managed the sizable extension from start to finsh. He was always there and gave some great advice to the build.He always kept us updated with the progress of the build and answered our questions either via phone or text quickly which we both really appreciated. The rest of team were also fantastic. Steve transformed our garden with a new patio,fences and gates which look great.Martin the carpenter who put together our kitchen and replaced all our old door frames and doors with great care and attention. Mike Weeks and the team were absolutely fantastic on a sensitive project, my childhood home.They knocked through a load bearing wall and installed reinforcements, levelled the floor, plastered the walls and ceiling, fitted the units and just generally made an old unloved space beautiful. We wanted to do a lot of the work ourselves, and Mike was great with picking up things that we probably wouldn't have noticed, like a very uneven floor!He took everything we threw at him in his stride, even when we panicked and text him at stupid hours with questions he was calm and reassuring.Martin who fitted the kitchen did an incredible job with a beautiful finish, and managed to fit our units into odd spaces and build a really clever boiler cupboard from the bits and pieces left over. Nothing was too much for him.Lee (plumber)and Paul (electrician) were also brilliant and explained things really well.Roundhouse were very clean and professional and I would 100% recommend them. Roundhouse were employed by us to do some structural renovation and decorating work on our Grade 2 listed building in Cowbridge. They were really professional and courteous from the the start to the finish. Great credit to them in that they enabled us to keep the business open and running with minimum disruption. Mike and his team from Roundhouse did a superb job to knock down and clear an old garage and then build our new garage plus workshop with shower room and w. c. The Roundhouse team are both excellent builders and very nice people, so what could have been an ordeal was instead very enjoyable! Mike gave a detailed quote for the work and the only additional costs were from extra work that we asked Mike to add onto the job, like the garden fencing which we decided later to add. Mike has great experience and excellent suggestions which greatly improved on many features of the building. Mike was also able to suggest specialists that we would not otherwise have known of, like the superb glazing company, Adenhart Wales Ltd based in Cardiff, who did a fantastic job of the floor to ceiling glass and sliding door plus skylight feature. In short, I would certainly employ Mike and his team again and can HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. More...

As long as it has adequate headroom and isn't below ground level then there's a good chance it can be converted.
