We had a wonderful afternoon tea to celebrate my mother’s 80 th birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive. The afternoon tea filled us up, so a lovely walk around the gardens in the sun finished off the perfect afternoon. Thank you.

Our wedding was perfect in every way and we could not have wished for a better day. Rothamsted Manor is a beautiful house in a beautiful location and such a romantic backdrop for our wedding, all the guests fell in love with its charm immediately!
On the day, the drawing room looked so elegant and the gardens were perfect. Our wedding photos are really special thanks to the wonderful setting. The staff couldn’t do enough- we were so impressed with the level of attention and the amazing service- nobody wanted for anything and everyone complimented the staff on their professional and friendly demeanour.
When it came to planning the wedding, if felt so effortless and there was no request too big or small thanks to the brilliant Katie. As for the wonderful chefs, right from the first meeting they were so accommodating and willing to give me my ideal menu and arranging tasting sessions. The food was so authentic and delicious, we have had many requests for the recipes already and rave reviews all round- we were particularly impressed with how efficiently the food came out piping hot for every table. As for the organisation, Charlotte ran the whole day so smoothly and so (seemingly) effortlessly that all we had to do was sit back and enjoy!
We were thrilled with our Wedding Day and I cannot tell you how much our guests complimented the venue, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We recently had our son's bar mitzvah party at Rothamsted Manor and it really was the most amazing event. The venue is beautiful and being able to use the whole manor and all of the outside space was so beneficial. The planning was great and the food enjoyed by all. It really was a great find, being so close to Harpenden yet so private at the same time. My advise is to definitely consider this venue and then use all the space as best as you can (we went for an 8k run, had a football match, tour etc!!)
