I hired Jason and his team to remove a huge Ash tree covered in ivy and take a large amount of height off a row of conifers at the back of my garden.

His team were here early and started straight away. Great teamwork and very polite and helpful guys. Wouldn't hesitate to us them again!

Jason was very quick to contact me about the job (cutting back overhanging branches from neighbours' garden and dropping height of a seriously overgrown ivy and holly hedge) and came round the same afternoon to view the requirements and give a quote. He was very knowledgeable about how they could go about achieving what I wanted and the quote was fair, so I offered him the job and he immediately confirmed the details by text.
On the actual day, the team appeared bright and early and were very professional in how how they carried out the work, including cleaning up all the debris and ensuring I was happy with what had been done.

The tree was over 100ft tall with restrictions on access. Many other Tree Surgeons wouldn’t take the job on but Jason and his team had it down and away in no time. Amazing

Roots and Shoots provided the best quote of the four I requested. Jason and his colleague arrived as scheduled to remove 2 conifers and reduce a very wide laurel edge by half and lower the height. They worked through showers of hail and sleet but carried on regardless. They worked professionally and were respectful of my property and that of my neighbours. Both guys were extremely courteous.
I am absolutely delighted with the work that was completed, all exactly as described at time of quote. My garden was left totally clear and Jason ensured the area outside our property was also cleared and tidy.
I was so pleased with their work I have booked Jason to come back at the end of the month to thin out and crown a Eucalyptus tree in my back garden.

brilliant service provided to take down a dieing sycamore tree from my front garden. arrived on time and the job was done all tidied up in less than a few hours. Jason really helped me in getting the council approval as it was a protected tree. Fee was a reasonable price and best quote I recieved. These guys really know there stuff, plenty of advice and information.
