How do we even begin to say Thank You to Sara for helping bring our son into this world so beautifully? My husband was a total skeptic, despite having the role explained and my preferences expressed. Probably within 30 minutes or so of active labor, my husband whispered, "I'm so glad she's here with us! Everyone needs a doula." Sara seemed to sense exactly what we were thinking throughout the day and would suggest I try new positions to help bring baby down (and they worked!). Everything progressed perfectly, and we were soon holding our precious boy in our arms. The hospital staff was so impressed with Sara that they immediately asked for business cards once our son was born. Without Sara, I would have immediately caved against my goal of a natural delivery. Sara helped me stay the course, both of us knowing I could do it! We highly recommend Sara, not just for her knowledge and professionalism, but also for her calm, sweet spirit and commitment to us and how we hoped our birth story would play out in a modern hospital setting. As a pediatric nurse married to a paramedic, we know too much and didn't want to potentially risk precious minutes should a home birth turn south. Having a doula, specifically Sara, was my compromise, and we are ever grateful to have worked with her. She's amazing, and you won't regret it! More...

Sara is a sweetheart. She is personable and well versed in supporting couples through their birth. If I were having more babies she would be on the top of my list for birth doulas to interview.
