While I knew that I didn't know how to look after large trees, hedges, ground cover, etc. I didn't know the extent of my un-knowledge. Jeremy was super enthusiastic about the work we needed done and it really does look better. I'm also sure that that no errant branches will fall on me now, which was the whole point of the exercise. What do you love most about your job?
The best part of the job is designing spaces for people and getting to know our clients who become friends. Being in business so long we have hundreds of gardens in various degrees of completion and each tells a unique story.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been a go getter and have a unique style of operation. After working for my mentor for 4 years i actually got out of the industry for a few years but the call of the early mornings in beautiful gardens and the freedom of moving around Cape Town each day called me back to where I belong.

This would have been a moot point a few years ago but since COVID i have actually done a lot of remote design and I frequently consult on out of province contracts.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We completely redesigned our services after COVID. We now have smaller teams and work longer on projects which has improved quality and the end product. Clients are also more involved and have more time to enjoy the creations we build.
