Ronan is a career coach who was able to make me reflect on career objectives and skills in a positive and helpful way. He enabled me to think about my career ambitions in terms of what my needs are so I could move away from thinking about it as one purely connected to financial gain (not to undermine the importance of monetary benefit! ). This refocused me to think about my career in the context of other factors such as how can I put my skill set to good use and what I find personally fulfilling in the kind of work that I want to do. I would highly recommend going to see Ronan. I had a couple of sessions earlier this year and Ronan helped me focus on the positive aspects of my experiences to date, and in particular, not to be put-off by job descriptions. In the past, I have always gained employment through friends asking for my CV, and not necessarily having to through the full application process.
