I highly recommend Romero + Obeji Interior Design. My husband and I decided a few months ago that we were ready, after 15 years and raising 3 kids in this house, to finally decorate our home the way we wanted. We realized that we had no idea where to start and we were afraid of making costly mistakes so we decided to hire an interior designer. We are so happy that we found Romero + Obeji Interior Design. Hector and Chris spent a considerable amount of time with our family learning not only our decorating tastes, but also getting to know who we all are and how we hoped to use our space. They then successfully transformed our house that was previously terribly dated and full of awkward and unused spaces into a home that is current (yet timeless), welcoming and flows seamlessly from room to room. They found high quality painters and helped us select beautiful paint for our walls and cabinets that brightened every inch of our home; they sourced a beautiful counter top and back splash material that easily updated our kitchen; they designed our living spaces so that each room became a usable space; and then they furnished the home with a mix of new pieces (that you will not find in any furniture showroom or your neighbor's house) and some of our existing pieces to create a home that is beautiful and truly reflects our family and our tastes. What’s your interior design process?
When we start our design process, we take the time required to fully understand our clients’ design and decorative dreams, as well as lifestyle, level of expectation, financial parameters, and timeline. ​
Afterward, we dive in using our endless creativity and ingenuity to develop and present a custom design plan of the entire project so clients can easily grasp the concepts created. Including floor plan, lighting plan, furnishings layout, images of furnishings, samples of all surface materials including, fabrics, paint colors, etc. to feel, see and touch.
With clients' full review and allowing revisions, if necessary, we get anticipated approval. Then it is ALL HANDS-ON DECK placing orders and navigating logistics so we can deliver design finish materials and furnishings to meet important project schedule. If there are renovations our team will provide contractors and custom build vendors with construction details right away, so their work can be completed on time for installation day.

We have extensive knowledge and over 20 years of experience in all residential design genres, traditional to modern and anything in between. We are also versed in various lifestyles from suburban to urban and work with many international clients. Busy clients love working with us!

What inspired you to start your own business?
2000, we both worked for the same high-end custom residential furnishings manufacturing / interior design company in the Palm Springs California area. Hector was president / designer, Chris in product design and interior design. 2003 we branched out to establish our own design company because we wanted our independence as businessmen and creatives. We have been working together ever since!

romero + obeji exclusively specializes in entire home projects from ground up or remodels. We will professionally design any interior and exterior issues that each home may have. We offer turnkey design and decoration service where every detail is considered for a total home result and completed at the highest level.
Clients are billed a one-time design fee for the entire project based on the scope of work. No hourly runovers! A complimentary initial meeting is required to evaluate your project and provide a proposal. ​

Landscape Design
Perfection in residential design is achieved when the same creatives connect interior design with exterior architecture, landscape design and furnishings layout. We have perfected the ultimate indoor-outdoor experience by harmoniously layering plants, finish materials, architectural elements and furnishings that are specifically molded to the client's life and design style.
COMPLEMENTRY MEETING
We offer a casual in-home meeting with us where you may ask any number of questions both creative and business. In turn, we will gather information about you and your home afterward providing a professional evaluation/proposal which is based on your design requirements. There is no charge for the initial meeting. Evenings and weekends ok!

This service also involves scheduling, paying invoices on verified work completed. We don't just solve daily issues that come up, we anticipate them to keep project moving forward. Depending on where clients project is located, we can recommend proven licensed contractors or vendors that we have worked with and that pass the romero + obeji requirements of being professional, dependable and meet our level of expectation for the best results.
