We absolutely LOVED everything about working with Rolling Sounds Entertainment! We had an extremely short engagement, but they were very accommodating and helped us plan our music and entertainment with ease. Where to begin! John and his assistant were AMAZING!! When planning our wedding we had one thing in mind and that was to have a party where everyone was dancing and man did they deliver! I can not tell you how many people have come up to us or our family saying how much fun they had at the wedding and how great the song selection was! My husband and I have a very interesting taste in music (Country music is his thing and not mine) John did a fantastic job incorporating music that we both enjoyed and he knew how to make the guests never want to leave! Out of all of our vendors, Rolling Sounds Entertaining was the best choice we made. When I say John knows what he is talking about, he knows what he is talking about! He has a guideline that he has been perfecting since day one to help couples navigate the wedding timeline and it is very thorough! It helped that our venue was at Silver Lake Country Club and he KNOWS that place like the back of his hands. On the wedding day, John and Isaiah (sidekick) rocked the music. We met John in an impromptu meeting after meeting with our photographer (they share the same office space). I later found out he was the DJ at my matron of honor’s wedding, which was a blast! With the amount of experience he has, we felt comfortable putting our entertainment and lighting needs in his hands for our big day. The lighting made the room look amazing! John played all our requests and had the dance floor packed the entire night. Even my 78-year-old grandmother was out on the floor! During the planning process, we were always able to get ahold of John, whether through email or phone, which was nice since we live in Iowa. My new husband and I cannot thank John and Rolling Sounds enough! We met with John back in April 2016 after meeting with our photographers, and right after that initial meeting with him, I became extremely excited to work with him for our wedding day in August 2017.

About two months before the wedding, John helped us customize our ceremony music and special dances music. He gave great advice on how the timeline would work, and it was so nice to just trust in him and know that the ceremony and reception timeline would all be taken care of by him.

We also hired John to come to our rehearsal, and I'm so happy he did. He gave great advice, and I felt a huge relief to do a run-through with him before our big day.

The day of our wedding, he made sure all of the timing was right for our ceremony. He made sure to help us with the timing for our special dances, and even helped us surprise the winners of the anniversary dance with a gift (my grandparents ended up winning with 60 years married in the books; the idea of surprising them with a gift made my grandmother cry tears of happiness!)

I'm sure other brides have worried during their planning processes that the dance floor may be empty, especially since it's completely out of the couple's control. With John and his team, our dance floor was packed from the time the floor opened until our reception ended. We had nothing but compliments from all our guests about the music and how much fun they had, and we owe it all to Rolling Sounds. John was great to work with. Very professional. Great listener. Had good suggestions for us when we were picking out our music. He did a great job the night of our wedding.

There were 2 mistakes that happened. The music played for our bridal party was the original song we picked. We changed it a week or two before the wedding. I was a little upset that it wasn't updated in time for us.

Also, we didn't want our guests to clink glasses for us to kiss. I know we discussed to do something else. But the day of the wedding, people clinked their glasses and we had to go through with it.

We used Rolling Sounds for our wedding on 1/23/16 and the were absolutely awesome. The owner, John, met with me the first time for about 2 hours and was very personable, detailed and helpful. He met with us again before the wedding and was extremely organized. He went over every last detail with us and thought of things I didn't even consider. Prior to committing to Rolling sounds I had met with 1 other DJ. No one I have met is as organized as John was. John was on top of everything. He had the whole wedding day planned for me from the start of the ceremony to the very last song of the night. I met with John a few times to make sure I got everything I wanted. He helped keep other vendors on schedule as well with his printed daily plan. My husband and I only picked maybe 10 song we wanted to hear and left it up to him. He kept the party going all night. My Husband and I went and interviewed over 10 DJs and John from Rolling Sounds was by far the Best! You work with your specific DJ and he actually listens to what you want and helps customize your big day. We had 3 meetings and comunicated over the phone and email, not only did he respond in an appropriate time frame but all of the information and resources provided for planning are organized and through.

We used Rolling sounds for both ceremony and reception and everything went just as planned. Our guests could hear our ceremony and he did a wonderful job tying in the music. For our reception our dance floor was never empty. My Husband and I are both music enthusiasts and he was not only able to please us with his variety but also our guests who ages ranged from 14-85.

His Emcee ablities were profesional and friendly not corny or obnoxious. His additional services are by far the most affordable of all the DJs we interviewed, we used the facade and it was sharp. He showed up with plenty of set up time and was even prepared for a change of location due to weather.

Hands down recommend Rolling Sounds to EVERYONE! By far my favorite vendor from our wedding, does a fantastic job, John also hosts a bridal show in the tinley park area as well!

Our wedding was 4/19/2013..we chose rolling sounds entertainment.. i heard of them through the tinley park wedding expo. .John was there for the expo....after meeting with him for a consultation..we would only book through them if he was our DJ...and he was great! he had every song you can think of..if not he could get it! his website was great! he had it set up so you can choose your songs and send them to him through the site! everybody enjoyed it and almost everyone was up dancing! it was great! we couldn't ask for more!
