The best Filipino food in the area, Roline and her staff always greet you with a warm welcome and some feel good food!
IM THEIR COVER PHOTO!! I'm honored to have been chosen, especially because the halo halo here is among the best. They don't skimp on ingredients, and have GENEROUS portions. I've yet to try the lunch offerings here, but the place was packed when I came.... it seems really great. Furthermore, their Instagram is run very well. There's always instagram story's showcasing the staff and they truly look like a family. I can't wait to come back and grab another halo-halo at their halo-halo bar!! More...
If you love Ube this is the place to be!! Interesting interior it's a bit of a weird setting but still comfortable. I've been here twice now and have not been disappointed. Both times I ordered an order of Lumpia (8 pieces) and an Ube shake. A little pricey for the Ube but that's pretty normal. The employees are very friendly and have a great attitude. More...

I'm very picky when it comes to Filipino food. Roline's is the best spot I've tried so far. Everything is so fresh, great portions for the price. Will order for the holidays!

I usually get a bunch of lumpia and bring it home to the family after work. Their customer service is the best. They are always happy and helpful. Their food is awesome. My go to Filipino restaurant. More...
I ordered Roline's catering for my daughter's bday and it was a hit! The sisig was delicious, leche flan, pancit, chopseuy were delivered hot and ready to be served. We will definitely order more from this place. We have yet to try the halo halo in person. More...
Halo-halo was SO GOOD. It was too late for dinner and they were closing up shop, so I will return for some real food sampling. Excellent customer service and if I heard correctly, they are OPEN ON THANKSGIVING! More...
The food tasted great! We live in the Marysville area and was just passing thru. We were hungry and I saw this place on YELP (yes I use YELP). We dined in. The food was so good that we took some home to have the next day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! More...
Wonderful delivery service! Prompt and hot and ready to serve. I used the delivery service for the first time, they delivered to Fairfield, and the food was delicious as usual. I would definitely recommend Rolines! More...
Awesome customer service and yummy Filipino food. Must try their halo halo for sure! They also cater and prices are reasonable.
This place is family owned and you can tell. It's kind of like going to your favorite aunties house. Sunday's are the best since they have the breakfast buffet and you can find some Filipino favorites like kare kare, longanisa, garlic rice, pinakbet, sinigang, etc. Its a great place to gather with friends and enjoy good food. They also have good halo halo and with yelp there's usually an offer for a free mini when you come visit. My favorite is the ube flavor. It's not super fancy just nice and comfortable with good fooUpdate 11/2019: they no longer serve the Filipino buffet!!! This made me so sad because I took my bf and kept talking about how awesome the buffet was only to leave super sad and disappointed. This was the only Filipino buffet near me and it was soooo good! Hopefully they bring it back one day More...
This is our go to for lumpia when we have to bring something to pot lucks. Everyone is very friendly and the food is always delicious!
Great food and very nice people.
Fabulous Filipino food
Enter the Restaurant, there is seating and an Ice Cream Counter and Window. Walk past that and encounter the back side of the store for the Food Display case. My 1st time at a Filipino Restaurant. I have had this type of food at work social events in the past. I recognize a couple of items. The items available that I have not seen before, i asked for the description of what is it? The nice young lady assisting me, offered me taste samples along with the description. I tried the Garlic Rice, to see if indeed it was just named that or does the taste back it up? The Garlic Rice was it!!!! I tested the Dinuguan (It said Blood Pork). It was very dark in color. The taste has a little vinegary BUT that Pork was super tender. YES, let's get it. I ordered the 2 item plate. The other was BBQ Chicken, the usual familiar taste that I had in the past. Still good. All in all I give this place Roline's a 5 Stars All Day. The thing that took it to the 5 Stars is they fact they honor Military and Veterans with a discount. Brovo!!! I will be back when in the area again. More...
Excellent Food n Best Halo halo
Great place to get your Halo Halo fix. They also serve good Pilipino food (yum) and prices are reasonable.
Super bomb! Perfect for your Filipino fix. They check in and make sure the food is good and go over everything with u if u have questions. Love this place
Took my family here for my Dad's birthday this weekend for their Kamayan dinner and their famous halo halo bar. We absolutely loved everything from the presentation, the family vibe, friendly service and of course the yummy food! We came from the Pittsburg/Concord area to try Roline's and my parents are already trying to find an excuse to come back. Thank you for the lovely experience. More...
Just had the Halo-halo dessert and it was perfect on a hot day. Got the large size with plenty of toppings and a big scoop of Ube ice cream to top it off. They have smaller sizes but the large is the way to go. (in my opinion, hahaha)Next time I'm around the area will diffidently will try the Filipino food. We ate our Halo-halo in the restaurant and they had a good amount of folks buying food and the desserts. Poplar place, pretty easy location to get to and spacious place with a friendly staff. Nice place to cool down on a hot day !!! More...
Found this hidden gem on Yelp, ordered the work Adobe with garlic rice and an order of pork lumpia... I'm in heaven! If I have room left I'm having the halo halo
If you got the Filipino cravings then this spot will be the place. Good options for Filipino food and bangus fish cooked to order! Halo halo options with all the toppings. This is way better than the halo halo at chow king or seafood city. Don't forget to use yelp for a halo halo sample! Additional services:- food catering - small grocery for filipino food itemsFriendly and quick service! Will definitely be back! More...
1st time eating halo halo! Yum yum yum! We checked in on yelp and received a mini size halo halo. Perfect for my little daughter. I got another halo halo regular size to share with my husband. I had no idea what to expect and was very happy with the Ube ice cream mixed with a bunch of jellies and topped with crispy rice. Next time I'm in town I'd love to try their Filipino dishes! More...
Went here to meet up my sister for some authentic Filipino food. Surprisingly, there weren't a lot food choices. Depending on what day of the week you visit certain dishes may not be available. Of course everyone makes their food differently in Filipino culture. The pancit was good. The chicken adobo was a little different than what I am use to. My sister really really wanted more variety. So for her she didn't get what she wanted. Again because there are different specials each day of the week, you may not get your fix of what you love. Overall, food is good, deserts are great, just wish there was more variety no matter what day of the week it is. More...
Halo-Halo!!!! So glad Roline's is in town they make the best Halo-Halo... with all the different beans... Ube and Leche Flan! ! Plus they have a variety of your favorite different Asian ice cream flavors... from Ube, Buko pandas, young coconut, or mango!!! You can't go wrong!!! More...
This review is for the halo halo bar only. Great service and great halo halo! A little over priced but worth it if you don't want to buy your own ingredients and shave your own ice. I love the water stick touch! Wish we could add more Leche flan. More...
Hands down the best halo halos in town! I love how they ask you beans or no beans, and when you say no beans they don't lessen the rest of the other toppings. Love the ice cream options. You definitely get your money's worth on the halo halos here! Also their lumpias (meat and veggie) are very tasty and fresh! More...
Great food very friendly. Halo halo was excellent. The have all the Filipino food. I wish I lived closer. But we will come again for sure when pass through.

You feel part of their family when you enter. The Filipino food is delicious. Be sure to get a halo halo dessert also!
Roline's is my go to spot for lumpia party trays when I need to take something to parties or have parties of my own and they are always a hit.
Excellent Service, food outstanding
They have real nice food for takeout
Absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!!!!!! If you want great food...go here! Pork/chicken adobo with garlic rice, pancit, lumpia, and a huge variety of Filipino dishes that are made with love, you can tell by each and every bite. ...and dont get me started on the halo-halo bar!!!!!! Yummmmmmyyyyyy! More...

the best pilipino halo halo i ever had and i don't mind driving all the way down here from vallejo, cause it is totally worth it
Love this place
Did someone say HALO-HALO BAR?! YESS!! Perfect for a hot summer day after shopping in Vacaville, we made a stop here to check it out and reward ourselves with a summer treat. The service and atmosphere // pretty much you order at the counter top (point and pick kind of place) and find any open seating available. Family orientated atmosphere and a cute aquarium on the side wall. I will start with the good - halo halo is amazing! My fiance said it was the best halo-halo he's had in awhile! it was loaded with lots of bean and jellies and the buko pandan ice cream on top made for a refreshing treat! The food - was just ok. We got the 2 item combo with pancit and garlic rice. My fiance got some kind of meat in a tomato stew - tasted like beef stew which was good - but minus one star for the sinigang! OMG I was so sad that all the protein in that soup was nothing but 90% inedible fat. Overall // great halo-halo but we probably won't be back for the food. I think my fiance can cook filipino food much better. More...
Ordered the chicken adobo plate with pancit. It was my first time trying it so I was a bit nervous but was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful and tasty it was. Well priced for the portion too. Just wish they had smaller portion sizes for the lumpia or a lunch combo that maybe included a piece. My daughter ate my leftovers a couple of days later and loved it. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes as well as the dessert. Just wish the teens working there were a little more eager to help the customers instead of chatting with each other as someone is standing at the counter waiting to be acknowledged. More...
The adobo sooo delicious!!!! The staff is super friendly this is a must go to place there is ice cream part too.
Called 15 minutes before close in hopes they were still cooking lumpia. They have a great price for lumpia, we picked it up right before close. Hot out of the fryer, so delicious! Will order again More...
Love this place... Excellent food and service.... Been going there for many years now. Love it!!!!
This place become my regular go to place for chicken adobo. I work in Vacaville and we almost order each week from Roline's. Not only consider their portion is big enough for me and leftover, their price is unbeatable! $7 for one entree combo. Pick your protein (my fave is chicken adobo) and side(white rice, brown rice and pancit). I used to order the lumpia to go with my rice plate. I think it's 8 pieces for $5. It is authentic Filipino food. I wish they offer the bbq skewers that most Filipino restaurants sell. I ordered from Grubhub all the time for delivery. Never have any problem with the transaction. I heard that they have a halo halo bar in the store. I need to stop by one day to try it. Look so good in pictures! More...
Absolutely fantastic! A lot of food for your money. Great service!
Lumpia is why i go but fun to try the rest.
I get to eat here a lot since I work in the area. I have to say their customer service is always great and they keep the place well organized regularly. Pricing is affordable and they serve sizeable portions. More...
Addicted! Delicious! Super bomb! Heavenly! Authentic! And perfect price! Omg my fave!
Legit Filipino food in Vacaville! Been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally had the chance, boy did it live up to the hype! They don't have buffet style offerings anymore, instead you order it like an express place or cafe. I tried as many things I could and here is my rundown:Garlic rice: B+Simple yet delicious! Literally like fried rice with tons of garlic flavor. I split half and half for sides and enjoyed both.Vegetable noodles: A+The other side dish, somehow they made this taste so good that it's actually what I think is my favorite dish! It's the skinny noodles that they use with cabbage and carrot.Pork blood stew: C+Probably the only miss for me but personally I just don't like the taste of blood in my food. The pork itself is great in terms of texture and they give a huge portion.Chicken adobo: ALoved the adobo! Very tender chicken and the flavor was just the right balance of sweet and savory (more savory than sweet). Highly recommend this as one of your entrees.Lumpia: A-Must have lumpia anytime I eat Filipino food right! Essentially the Filipino style egg roll filled with pork, served with a sweet and sour style red dipping sauce.Halo halo: A+After all that food the perfect way to refresh your taste buds with what I'd call a Filipino style ice cream Sunday! I love the unique flavors that they offer. I went with the pandan and it was AMAZING! So refreshing and didn't feel too sweet. Must get one of these if you're here on a hot day. Checking on Yelp for a free halo halo hint.Met the owner and she's super sweet. This is a family owned restaurant and I can see the love and care they put in. Highly recommend coming here since it's one of the best Filipino restaurants in northern California.Food: 4.5/5Value: 5/5Service: 5/5Overall: 4.75/5Check out my video review for this awesome restaurant!youtu.be/mMVuoRHgv5k More...
Halo halo was good.. you can get the teaser size or the regular size, I got the regular, can't be teasing with the small cup. .lol..the coconut strands and jackfruit was my fav., paired with the pandan ice cream..and that coconut milk.. your mouth watering yet?, in this 90+ degree heat, that some good stuff right there. Found Rolines by chance... what a wonderful little place. Extremely clean and good variety of foods. Would definitely recommend this place.
Homely atmosphere, home cooked meals that satiate my longing for Filipino food. Friendly and efficient staff.
We used Roline's for catering our wedding in Petaluma. We were able to do a tasting prior to making a decision and the catering manager, Margarita, was very sweet and accommodating throughout the whole process. Our menu consisted of bbq pork, bbq chicken, pancit, spaghetti, stewed squash, and lumpia. We also decided on renting a halo-halo bar! Overall the service was great, and would definitely recommend for any filipino catering services! More...
We really wanted a halo halo bar for our wedding in Walnut Creek and found RUF online. We are so glad we decided to have them bring their talents to our big day! Their staff was amazing and our friends and family still talk about how delicious it was! We went out to their location to try the halo halo and my dad decided to try the food as well. He is not an effusive guy at all, but he immediately exclaimed that it was so good and reminded him of his childhood in the Philippines. More...
First time trying Filipino food and I would have to say it's an acquired taste. I have been here a couple of times with friends. First time coming, we tried the halo halo. The staff were extrememly friendly and helpful to us newcomers. I would recommend getting a small size if this is your first time trying this dessert. Would also recommend their very popular lumpia! HALO HALO BAR!!!!!!!!! What more to say?! Been dying to try this place so even though i was so full from lunch, since we were in the area, we HAD to go. My cousin in law actually brought me and not surprised.. but she knows the owner who she was choppin it up with when we came. When she loves a place, she goes so many times & becomes a regular that they know her. Lol that means something!Since i was so full, i didn't get to try any of the actual food. But i love how you can get regular food then halo halo. Toward the back of the restaurant is where they hAve all the entrees and the cashier to order. If you're going just for the halo halo bar, still proceed to the cashier to get our ticket then bring it up to the bar to then order. On the halo halo menu they have different specials for different halo halos but i just got mine customized since i only like certain things in it.They have the beans, all kind of jellies, alllll kinda of Filipino ice cream and toppings. I was in HEAVEN. The girl who was making our halo halos actually enjoys her job too!!! It made the experience memorable. She was telling us about it as she was making them and took her time with it. I felt my dessert was seriously made with LOVE. When she went to turn my ube ice cream ball into the fruity peoples, i was amazed. Now the secret to eating a halo halo somewhat nearly is to get the dome lid forsure!!!! Put the lid in & halo halo "mix mix" it. Crush up the ice cream and everything. & if you can't finish, don't forget to grab a straw and drink it on the way home omg i can't wait to come back!!!! More...
I hate when they don't have anymore chicken adobo. Overall the food is very good.
Nice staffs. Wide variety of Filipino foods to choose from.
This was our first taste of Filipino food and we absolutely loved it! We stopped here twice for lunch, a couple days apart. Both times, with different counter staff, we were welcomed warmly and all our newbie questions were answered with great courtesy. They have many regulars who stop in for lunch and carryout, and we felt just like part of the big extended family! The food was delicious. Each day there is a different selection of entrees, with a few familiar looking dishes, like chicken legs. But if you are a newbie like us, we strongly recommend that you try foods that look much different than standard north American fare. More...
Omg my favorite place ever! Lumpia is on hit.
Roline’s is home to some of the best Filipino food I’ve ever had. Living on both the west and east coast, there is a wide array of places I’ve tried but Roline’s almost always comes out on top. Their lumpia is great, their customer service even greater. If you enjoy their home restaurant, take a stop at the Deville theater downtown and try Chef Roline’s great dishes there! More...

The food here is so good and authentically Filipino. Try their adobo, it's delicious! The service is really good too. We got an Ube and Buko Pandan halo halo, and I would get it again.
Always great service from the amazing team there! The HaloHalo is amazing! I would come back again to try different lunch options as well.
I like this place! Best halo halo by far! And you can customize it to your likings. It helps too that the staff there are super friendly. Makes u want to come back over and over. More...
The staff here are welcoming. I love their ayce breakfast on weekends.Wish I could go more. Another thing I love there is their champorado halo-halo. It's to die for! A good place to eat your Halo-halo if you don't have time to go in Asian stores where there are Chowking, Red Ribbon, etc. Though their Halo-halo is more expensive than those well known food chains and you still get the same taste... Halo-halo. The owner and staffs are very friendly and the store is very clean. More...
Their halo halo have sumptuous ingredients. Will probably order the teaser next time since full size too much for me. Staff are very nice and place is nice and tidy
We visited RUF after a trip to the Outlets! They have great Halo-Halo, and I couldn't pass up their Turon. They also have good dishes. I was especially surprised with their Dinuguan, just like Mom's! Great for a treat and a meal from the Philippines! More...
I would give them 10 stars if I could. We were immediately greeted and staff was friendly. My husband and two sons came here for dinner. Dinner was delicious as always. I was happy that there was a Filipino restaurant here in Vacaville. I love going to this place especially if I'm craving for good and delicious Filipino delicacies. Kare kare !!! I am so shook and upset that I am now just tasting and finding out about this dish! It's a bunch of my favorite ingredients in one and it was soooo good! So good I forgot to take pics of the food but I did remember at the end with the halo halo More...
The Adobo was excellent. Great service and atmosphere. Will definitely go again when I visit Vacaville again.
Great Vegetable pansit. I wished they added pork, shrimp or chicken though
We eat here occasionally and have never been disappointed. The food is good across the board and the staff are very friendly. If you like Filipino food give this location a try. You won't be disappointed. It's family owned, the food is authentic and the portions are large. Give them a try. You owe yourself a treat. More...
First time eating here. This place is okay. Don't be surprised and expect too much though. Theyre just a typical hole in the wall type of restaurant but In fairness, they have good food. For locals, this is a regular place to go if you're craving for filipino food. For someone like me, who loves to cook, I am not really into eating out at Filipino restaurants. First because I know, I can cook them. Secondly, I find them more expensive than other cuisine. Third, I am trying to stay away from rice. I was just meeting up with my cousin and brother from Sacramento, we met halfway since I came from Hayward. My cousin who said, she's been craving filipino food so I tried to google and Roline's was the first that came up in Vacaville so I tried to call in first what time they're open on sundays. They said at 11:30 so it was perfect. They even have buffett on Sundays. So it was even better! That's why I chose this between the three restos that came up. They're the only ones who serve buffett. Just like what I mentioned above, don't expect too much. Their buffett style is not the typical you would see in a regular restaurant. Their spread is in one display cage with plastic or glass cover, not sure, that can be lifted up once buffett is ready for people and down to protect the food and for serving on regular days. I would say there's about 12-15 food varieties you can choose in chafing dish. There were no people when we came in since we were a little early. But once we started getting in line, people are coming in sometimes with big group. In fairness, we liked the food. Not too salty and the staff are nice too! For $12.99, I think it's fair enough for an AYCE meal. I loved their dessert for that day which is my favorite! Ginataang halohalo! Simmered sticky rice balls and mixed fruit in coconut milk. They also have the halo halo bar, with different ice cream flavor as well, which makes them popular and looks good too. I noticed a lot of people ordering them. I recommend this place if you're craving flip food. You won't regret it! Sorry for not taking pics though! More...
Love their food. Love that their delivery is very affordable and on-time. Will definitely order here again for my next event.
Roline's has the absolute best lumpia in town! Their party platters are an absolute must for any get together we have. Their lunches are also great!! Definitely recommend!!
Ordered party size lumpia. I had to wait 10-15 minutes to pick up even though I ordered days ahead. But the food was hot and delicious!! I would order again
Turon was pretty tasty. The hint halo halo and chaporrado wasn't bad either.
Still the best in town
Bookmarked when Connie C posted photos last month, and when Dine Downtown Vacaville came and went. Finally made the drive. Ah, Roline's Uniquely Filipino...tucked between the Neighborhood Wal-Mart and a liquor store of all places! They've been around since 2009, and I think I've had their catering once before at my previous job, but this review is for tonight's visit. I was meeting M. in Davis anyway and we decided to make it into a dinner and a destination! Can't blame a freshman with a meal plan for getting outta Dodge for a night and craving Filipino food, amirite? Ate Michelle to the rescue! Traded one cowtown for another but that's NorCal for ya. Arrived around 5:45pm and the young lady at the counter was super nice. Since it was our first time she explained how the daily specials rotate, they had run out of pinakbet, and the 1 item meals came with either pancit, garlic rice, steamed rice, or half and half. They had chicken adobo, pork adobo, kare-kare, dinuguan, sinigang, pork menudo, fried chicken. Come on other days to try lechon kawali or beefsteak. They also have kamayan (eat with your hands) event coming up soon. Weekends is AYCE buffet. 1 Item Meal Plate was $7, but for the kare-kare it cost $1.50 extra because it was beef/oxtail meat. Classic halo-halos were $7 each. Free halo-halo hint (smaller than a teaser) with check-in on Yelp. Halo-halo can be made with everything on it, custom, or special signature flavors like banana-Q (caramelized saba) and champorado (chocolate). Order the halo halo at the same time as your dine-in meal and give the ticket when you're ready for them to assemble the deliciousness. I had the dinuguan (pork blood stew) on the side with rice and pancit. M. had the kare-kare with rice and pancit. Both were yummy and hit the spot. Should've asked for bagoong (shrimp paste) to go with both though. Pretty filling, though we did save room for dessert. The halo halo hint was so cute! Also, when we couldn't decide which ice cream flavors for our classic sizes (ube, buko pandan, mango, jackfruit, avocado, green tea, coconut, etc.), our halorista said she could do smaller scoops of up to 3 different flavors so that's what we did! Ube, buko pandan, and mango. Fruity pebbles and pinipig garnish, barquillo wafers, and all the assorted goodness inside of course. I think ube halaya was missing maybe based on the photos. The ultimate shaved ice experience had enough tropical confections to make me forget it's technically wintertime. They are also on Postmates, Grubhub, Foodjets, Door Dash and Eat24 delivery. They also have lumpia, daing bangus (milkfish), other desserts like uberon (turon but filled with ube), and more! Didn't get to meet Roline herself, but all the young workers were very nice (none of whom were Filipino as far as I could tell, but whatevs)! What they were was #RUFenough. This is the first of many future visits I'm sure. They have the Square loyalty program, 5 stars gets you a free original halo halo! Masarap in Tagalog, manyaman in Kapampangan. Mmm mmm good! More...
Aside from being in my neighborhood, the food really taste good. If I don't have time to cook, I just drop by here and order, so satisfying. As always, I love their well-known dessert, the Halo-Halo. But, If you love trying new stuff, try their Halo-Halo Champorrado and it's kinda weird because I normally eat Champorrado and Halo-Halo separately but in one, only in Rolines. All I can say is, it taste good too. Thumbs up to that!!! The service is fast and the staff are all nice and friendly.Five stars... More...
Really good lumpia here, and customer service is amazing. Decided to try this place out and was not disappointed. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu. Their deserts look amazing as well. More...
Roline's has a very good lunch buffet on the weekends. They have longanissa, tocino, tapa, always a soup entree, a veggie entree, adobo, dinuguaan, pancit, garlic fried rice, and other assortment of dishes as well. There is also the ginataan dessert as well. They have top notch customer service. Make sure to get a halo-halo (not included in buffet) that is customized to your liking and if not posted, ask for the champorado halo-halo which is only found here! (See pic) More...
Stopped by for lunch and had pork adobo, rice and lumpia. The food was quite good and the service was friendly and efficient. This is a great place for Filipino food! More...
Best Filipino food in town. When I'm not home with my mom, I come here to get my fix. Not only is her food good here but it's amazing at the Deville!
I really love the halo-halo but they have really good Lumpia and pancit as well
I called ahead and had a wonderful dinner to share---beautifully presented, delicious, and so much fun!
This place is so awesome!Food is always on point. They have different dishes on special throughout the week. On Sunday's they have a buffet, so you can eat all you want! I especially love coming here when I am craving some sinigang! My family and I came here specifically for the Kamayan special during Vacaville Restaurant Week. And man, it did not disappoint. In fact, we were blown away by the amount of food it included.Their staff is so friendly. While still professional, their staff was so warm and kind. We were also able to meet Roline herself and she is the sweetest! She even helped set up our table and checked in on us during dinner. She and her staff took very good care of us. A must try is their halo halo! Definitely the best halo halo I've had in a looooong time! That's the only thing I wish was different - the dessert that was included with the Kamayan was Turon and ice cream, but instead I wish it was Halo Halo!Thank you Roline and staff! More...
Amazing Filipino food & beautiful presentations. Laid back atmosphere with chill music to enjoy your meal.

I first had Roline's at the Filipino Fork event in Sacramento. Her offering was so good that I drove from Sac to Vacaville just to try the rest of her menu items. The restaurant is AYCE style. Not many Filipino restaurants have kare kare, but Roline's does.. every.day. And maaaaaan is it good! Also tried the classic halo halo from their amazing halo halo bar (genius idea). Generous servings of everything that should be in halo halo. Can't wait to go back! More...
One of my favorite Filipino restaurants around here! My favorite dishes are the pancit, calderetta, milkfish, and of course the halo-halo. I also had the longanisa but I wasn't that big of a fan. They have a large selection and it's all pretty well priced. Since I'm a college student, all I eat is the college food (so no Filipino food for MONTHS). I love coming here right when I get back for all this comfort food! More...
Great Food, Great People
Great customer service and the food was excellent
This is a good spot... a little pricey for what you get, but ultimately worth the experience. The food is delicious and authentic. The staff is very nice. Seating is sometimes a problem though, so just expect that when you go. Definitely needs an upgrade. Everything else is on the up and up though - definitely worth a trip! More...
I haven't eaten at the restaurant yet, but last night some friends catered the lumpia and BBQ chicken (I think it is called) and it was DELICIOUS! Now I need to try it all!
Awesome customer service at the halo halo bar! We ordered a halo halo and it was delicious. I don't like too sweet deserts and the ube ice cream was the perfect sweetness and flavor. Will be coming back very soon.
Staff is amazing. Food delicious. A must for good food and excellent service. The lumpia is amazing in all varieties. Their sauce was delicious.
My husband and daughters enjoy the food. The make a good HALOHALO.
I love Rolines. It has amazing food here that reminds me of my childhood. Their Halo Halo is amazing. But, their prices are very high. I've been going here for years and now the prices have been going up. I'm kind of disappointed because I feel like it's becoming more commercialized and the staff is not as friendly as it once was. I used to feel like I was family, but since it became more popular it doesn't feel the same anymore. That being said, they are still wonderful and I'm glad that they are doing well. More...
I really love this place. So much improvements and this Restaurant is Legit Filipino. I highly recommend this place if you want the BEST LUMPIA! ! Thank you guys for always treating me like family every time I eat there. You're always the Best! More...
The best filipino food! In vacaville! Great customer service! We will definitely come back here. The place looks clean! Oh my. Thank God we found this place!
If you're looking for good food great price and convenient, this is the place. I love the "Hole in the Wall" feel but is far from it. When i go to gatherings I order the lumpia platter 120 piece with extra sauce. Instant hit! Also, quick lunch at their buffet. Garlic rice, adobo or pork with onions is awesome! More...
Love the place
Really good find on Yelp. Really good food and their Halo Halo is yummy! Friendly and fast service.
I don't hear enough people consider this place for lunch & dinner and it's a shame. Although I'm not very bold in my selections when I dine here, I stand firmly by the Chicken Adobo and i don't see myself mixing it up anytime soon. The meat is so moist and tender, and there's a depth to the flavor from the meat simmering for so long that is slap your brain delicious! (like, my mouth just watered typing that description lol)Go get some, TODAY. More...
This place has the best homemade Lympia you can eat it there or order it to go and cook it at home either way that and the buffet that they offer daily is amazing

Love the halo halo bar. Taste just like if I made it at home. Love the variety of the ice cream flavors to choose from.
Super friendly staff, good food and the Halo Halo was AH-MAZING! Four stars just cause there wasn't a lot of vegetarian options.
Weird food but good service. The halo halos are interesting. You can get them without all the beans and stuff. They close early tho. And you can get the lumpia either way long or short(shenghi) More...
Awesome service. Always treated people with a smile. Food was good just like home cooking. Desserts were yummy!
This is hands down the best place to go for Filipino food. I've only been to a few Filipino restaurants, but this is something special. My party had kare kare, sinigang, BBQ chicken, and adobo. They were especially delicious and also the complimentary halo halo they gave out. The staff was extremely friendly, patient, and understanding when they helped us because this is our first time at their restaurant. I am literally going back there today for their buffet. If I lived in Vacaville, I would go everyday. More...
I love the food here! This was my first experience with Filipino food, and I was def impressed! The lumpia is delicious!! Plus they work with door dash!!
I really don’t like Filipino food, but this place is authentic, and I like theirs! My husband loves this place as well. Excellent customer service:)
Atmosphere was delightfully relaxing. Food is on par and authentic. Service was quick and helpful. Halo halo is yummy!
Love this place. The Halo Halo is very delightful. The food selection is always great. The service is fast as they can but usually there is a line because the food isnsongoodb Lol
Love the halo halo. Instead of pinipig they used flint stones pebbles. However, I think they should get rid of the sampler size halo halo. Because how in the world will all the stuff fit in there. For halo halo you usually use a tall glass or a bowl. They might be doing the sampler because they are skimping on the ingredients...? But I'll be back again for some more halo halo! Also I think they can do better on the sound system. When I was eating halo halo I felt like I was food exercising to 90's markymarks feel the vibration. More...
My husband recently discovered this gem on our UCD catering list. When he told me there was a "new" FIlipino spot rated almost 5 stars on yelp I couldn't wait to check it out. Just as they were about to close at 7pm on Saturday night we got in at 6:45pm for our halo halo fix. Although they were mostly packed up and on the verge of closing they were very welcoming and helpful. As others mentioned, pro tip: check in on Yelp for a hint sized halo halo (perfect for your mini or mom that doesn't each much). I opted for the teaser B- (all the goodies minus the beans). I grew up in the Bay with lots of Filipino friends and amongst some of the best international foods. In comparison the halo halo at Roline's is legit! I loved all the coconut jellies, ube paste, mocha, condensed milk and mango ice cream. The young coconut was also very good. My son and I loved the strawberry cookie straw- nice touch. I liked that although we arrived late everyone was friendly, the place was clean and halo halo tasted good. Not too sweet and ingredients were fresh. I love Filipino food so I can't wait to go back and try some of their other foods. More...
It was my second time trying the food at Roline's. All of the employees was so friendly, and my parents and I met Roline the owner of the restaurant. If you are craving good Filipino food, I strongly recommend driving to Vacaville to share my experience. I recommend ordering a halo halo for dessert More...
I absolutely love the atmosphere here! We came with our 7 month old and everyone was so warm and friendly! The food was delicious, especially the Halo Halo! We can't wait to be back!
Love coming here! Roline and her staff are very welcoming & respectful! Our go to place for Filipino food & halo halo and for when we don't feel like cooking ourselves at home.
Great ice cream and flavorful Filipino food
Great food, great people!
Food are really good... not much good Filipino food in Tracy. Roline's top them all... I'll be back specially the Halo-Halo
Great experience! Warm greetings from the workers! Very friendly! Their sign outside is very comical! As soon as you enter, the dessert cart full of ice cream and toppings fill your smell and taste buds! Their halo halo is by far the best I've had in my entire life! Its the epitome of all halo halo packed with all the ingredients from the mother land! It's filled with real ube ice cream, ube paste, red bean, jelly, ice and carnation evaporated milk and much more! Very mouth watering and the strawberry wafer stick was an added touch! My boyfriend and I also had a taste of their Filipino food and it's was pretty awesome! We had their pork Adobe with garlic rice! Bomb af! Def recommend the place! I love how very traditional they are and how their food isn't too saucey or oily! Seating wise there's plenty of seats! And the decoration makes you feel at home and love by the reviews and merchandise they have! Would def come back again! More...
Friendly customer service. Helpful.I don't know what the rave about the foods though.?! When I had it.. it was dry and flavorless. Nothing special. BUT I do admit they do have the best Halo Halo I ever had. Abit pricey $7. But it's worth it! More...
Totally sufficed my halo halo craving. I got the teaser size. When I first looked at it I was thinking "oh that is so small" but when I was finished it I honestly thought it was a perfect size. Loved everything they put inside. Just reminded me of when I was young living at home. Lol. Also order the lumpia. Never can go wrong ordering lumpia from a Filipino restaurant. People & employees that are there are so friendly. Can wait to try more food! Very satisfying! More...
Went to Sacramento in May for a friend's wedding. With a bunch of family & friends in tow, we craved for Filipino food and ofcourse, Halo Halo! Their Food tastes like home made. They even have all you can eat option. Yumm. But we weren't that hungry, so we opted to share and have a 'taste' test lunch. Traditional menu, turoturo style. Adobo, pansit, kare kare, dinuguan, nilaga, lechon, egg roll, fried rice was in the menu. We ordered nilaga & kare kare. Good portion size. But Halo halo is the cherry on top! Delicious! Nice shaved ice, Plenty of ingredients. Sweet & tasty. Keep it up! It was our first but will hope to go back soon. More...
Excellent Filipino food. Consistently good quality. One of the best DINUGUAN and KARE KARE!I hope Roline takes this to the next level and aim for mainstream customers to help promote Filipino food. HALO HALO to die for!
I always go here to get lumpia catered. It is always made fresh and comes with great homemade lumpia sauce!
Love their halo halo bar.... I personally dont like the sweet beans and you can pick what you want to put in it.
First order from the restaurant, and it was delivered. Food is sooooooo good!! Price is reasonable, delivery was fast and Customer service was great!
I am so happy this place exists!I'm not sure how long they've been established, but I was surprised to find a superb Filipino spot beyond my mom's house. The inside: really festive decorations and original art are not too kitschy. You can tell decor isn't complete but is enough for anyone to understand this is a place to relax, enjoy, and bond over food. There are designated areas: a buffet, the halo halo bar, and the condiments table located next to the water cooler. Tip: there is a bin area similar to Panera where you place dirty dishes in. That's nice to have so The next customer doesn't wait for the table to be cleaned to be seated. The food: there are two ways of ordering, buffet is about $12.50 or per plate. Depending if you want one order + rice ($7) or 2 orders + rice ($9) the plate price varies. The dinuguan (blood stew) was more on the sour side, which I prefer. My mother and sister had the daing (marinated baby milkfish) which I could smell was wonderfully marinated fresh. Lastly, the three of us shared a halo halo which was so refreshing. The service: I've never seen young workers behave like good citizens towards each other especially their boss. In Tagalog we say "masipag", a similar understatement would be "helpful". They're patient to explain the dishes. The server is so cheerful. Ms. Rolina made us feel like family. Overall: 5 stars. I couldn't have asked for a better experience especially at a Filipino restaurant. Bravo! More...
I love Roline's food. The food is always fresh and it doesn't take them a long time to fix it. The employees are always very welcoming and make you feel right at home.
Best Filipino restaurant in this whole area. Food is bomb and the buffet on the weekends are a must! The thing that a lot of people don't realize though is how accommodating they are here. The little things they do for the customers that NO other restaurant would do. It's what puts them on top. Joseph (Jo) helped me out and he was very helpful. Ask for Joseph and he will take care of you. He is also super cute! I recommend this place to anyone More...
Really enjoyed our first experience of Filipino food. Halo Halo was a fun experience texture color and flavor.
So I have only been here twice, but both were great experiences. The first time we just were getting lumpia, tons of wonderful, delicious lumpia. So good! And the service, they are like d friends here, all of them. The second time my daughter and I popped in and had a food that was a true experience; the Halo Halo. This amazing and pretty dessert was just plain fun! It is a must-try! More...

The best halo halo in Vacaville.
I'll make this short, fam was craving halo-halo, we know a good spot called Roline's, craving satisfied! Their halo-halo is not that pre-made crap, you actually get to choose the ingredients you want in it, and the ice cream that you want, I had their bananaQ halo halo which in a sense is the like a dulce de leche halo halo, so. .. anybody craving for halo halo in the vacaville, Fairfield area, come on down!!!Hi Tita Roline!, them halo halos are to die for, forreal More...
I wouldn't even give 1 Star to this restaurant Special emphasis- rolines restaurant does not have any restroom facility for the customers. employees have to send customers next door to the liquor store. liquor store clerk laughed and said they also dont have any facility. i have to drive 1 mile for my husband to do #1....what a real bad experience!!!!!!3:30 pm - food was very dry Food taste - nothing to be excited aboutPortion - okPrice - comparable to any restaurant in the areaHalo halo - nothing but ordinary. The opposite of what they advertise. More...
Luv their kare kare oxtail, Tucino, pancit, and for dessert ginatan bilo bilo and halo halo are all authentic and yummy!
This is my go-to spot for Filipino food. The food is great and the staff is very friendly.
When you think of Filipino food (if you've ever had it) most of us think of those little fried rolls called lumpia. If you've never had lumpia they're basically little egg rolls usually filled with pork or some sort of "protien". Here they have pork lumpia as well as a vegetable lumpia which is vegan. Not only that but they have a couple other vegan options as well. They have a vegetable pancit which is a noodle dish similar to chow mein only using different noodles (they're delicious). As well as a vegan bean dish which tasted like mashed lentils. I asked the employee for his opinion and he said they were a little "unsalted" as they make them healthier and try not to add to much salt, but I thought they tasted great but I'm not very picky. I saw a bunch of people ordered the Ube ice cream and it looked delicious but unfortunately none of them were vegan but they did have a vegan desert which was a type of rice pudding made with coconuts. They warmed it up for me and it was really good as well. I love being able to try food from new cultures I'm happy that someone was able to take they're passion for they're home country and cooking which allowed for us to try a little piece of the Philippines. Thank you Roline. I'll defiantly be back. More...
Great food for a great price. Feels like eating worth family.
Very Tasty Filipino Food! Halo-halo is awesome.
My first time there so I wasn't adventurous but the pork adobo and rice noodles were super good. Got the 1 entre option and I have enough for another meal left over. Super friendly staff. Love the text message receipt! I will be back! More...
My mother-in-law is Filipina and SUPER picky about where we eat out. During her visit, we convinced her to try this and to our amazement, she liked it so much we went back the next day too!
Great food and service!! Employee's are very helpful. The Halo-Halo is the best I've ever had.
First time going after a friend recommended this place. Love it here! Great food! The halo halo is a must have. Also like their kare kare.
It was an authentic vibe with friendly atmosphere. The halo-halo was really goooddd
My new favorite spot just kind of happened. I went in for a snack but the portions are generous so it turned into a meal. I placed it to go but I started picking at it and before I knew it I had eaten the whole plate before leaving . The ice cream is unique and flavorful. I will go for the big dessert cup next time...I can't wait!!! More...
Just found this earlier this year and have not failed to come back to have a decent "halu-halo" everytime I'm in Vacaville. A good suggestion is after you walk around the outlet, have yourself a cold mouthwatering dessert! They've got 2 sizes to choose from (teaser and original). Aside from the classic, they also have special flavors like Champorado. They also serve rice meals as you have your lunch; entrees and a la carte. If you're in during the week, an open bar is availble to make your meal! More...

We always go here if we are craving filipino food. They have the best halo halo!
A place to find other Filipinos like me with great ube.
Very tasty Filipino food.
Loved the food
My go to Halo Halo joint
Small but very good eating experience.
I just happen to find this place when I was meeting someone from work at a job across the street. I really loved the Halo Halo I ordered. I think it was the best I ever had. I enjoyed every last drop on my way back to San Jose. I will for sure make a stop here whenever I am up this way. Yummy! More...
Amazing food and service
TL;DR h o mey (although i dont come from filipino home)Many selections. I dont know my filipino food well, but i shared a dish with rice, some meat, some other meat with peanut sauce, and some veggies. I loved it all, but I cannot discern what is really authentic. Also, check in on Yelp for that #free halo halo. Yum. More...
I like this place the first time I went with my husband. The food here is pretty good for a Filipino spot and the halo halo bar is cool since they do mini halo halo teasers. I decided to bring my parents here because I knew they'd like it. It's not even 530 pm and they've already ran out of most of their food. Sucks because my parents were pretty excited. I guess you really only should come here early or just for halo halo. More...
Fantastic food and the staff are always super nice. Love the pancit, pork adobo, and dinuguan. My only complaint is that no matter how stuffed I am, I can't leave without a halo halo.
I called in an order for a large party 5 days before the event. They took my order no problem. I arrived the day of at pickup time, everything was ready to go, they put it in bags for us and helped us load it into the car. We left and got 5 minutes down the road, they called us and let us know we left a dish. We went back to pick it up, they said they could've delivered it if we needed. Price was excellent, customer service was excellent. Everyone loved the food. I will definitely be back for everyday meals, and definitely for large orders. Thank you for a great experience. More...
My aunt had tried this place before for their halo-halo so we decided to give it a try after seeing some of their pictures online. They also have a variety of Filipino dishes, which we can try for another visit & an AYCE buffet on Sundays. The customer service is great- the staff is so friendly & welcoming. After you place your order, you're given a ticket displaying each person's order & you take your ticket to the halo-halo bar (so cute!) We each ordered halo-halo- some of us ordered without beans, which I think is a nice option that they have, since not everyone likes beans in their halo-halo! Lol They have 2 sizes: original/standard & teaser (which is like a mini)After the "halo-rista" places the toppings & ice for each order, he asks for the flavor of ice cream you want (Ube, mango, lanka, avocado, pandan, green tea strawberry, & young coconut). Additional toppings are pinipig (toasted rice, stickos or barquillos- which are wafer rolls, & fruity pebbles) Overall, the presentation is really nice & pretty. However, I found that there was too much macapuno (coconut strings) & less kaong (Palm nut) in the halo-halo. Maybe more even distribution of the toppings would be good. We'd probably come back again, but maybe I'll try the teaser (smaller size) which I think would be perfect for me. More...
Came and had the Tocino and the Pork Adobo with the garlic rice and both were delicious. The meat was tender and juicy with plenty of garlic rice to soak up the sauces. Staff was super friendly and I love that you get a free mini halo-halo to finish off your meal with. More...
My favorite Halo-Halo spot by far! Very friendly and family oriented. Will definitely be back!
My husband and I were on our way to San Francisco to celebrate our wedding anniversary but I suddenly craved for an authentic Filipino food. Lucky enough there's one in Vacaville and glad we tried it. The buffet was tasty and the dessert was heavenly. Since we are celebrating our anniversary one of the staff gave a Champorado-chocolate rice halo-halo for free. That was truly and uniquely awesome way to treat a customer! Will definitely come back here! More...
I personally love this place. So much enthusiasm and love when u walk in the door. Not only is the customer service amazing but the food is to die for.
Went there for the first time and had their "buffet". I was blown away by the choices and the food was great. I had to literally stop myself after the third trip so I wouldn't end up in a food coma. The garlic rice and both the pork and chicken adobo was delicious. I would definitely come back next time I am in town. More...
A very welcoming Filipino restaurant. Great service great food a must try when going around Vacaville.
Great service, the guy that helped us was really nice. Had the mini halo halo they give for checking in. Perfect since we had just had dinner. Will definitely be coming back.
Stumbled on this wonderfully sweet surprise on the way to Tahoe. Roline and her staff are so friendly and make you feel right at home even if it's your first time trying Filippino food. She's like that super sweet Tita/Auntie who is always trying to feed you more. Her Halo Halo Bar is beyond amazing, I never thought I would find such good Halo Halo in the US! Of course it's uniquely influenced by Roline but includes oh so many Asian treats from which to choose: ube ice cream, jackfruit, mango ice cream, coconut jello, sweet beans... could go on and on but mouth is watering too much. Just try it, you'll get addicted! More...
Finally visited Roline's for lunch with a friend on a Sunday around 12:30 pm. The place was busy but not packed, and there was a steady stream of customers coming in for halo halo. Roline's has daily specials and an open food bar (buffet) on the weekend. My friend and I opted for the $13 buffet which included a lot of Filipino classics such as kare kare, diniguan, adobo, and pancit. Everything was tasty and very satisfying. I ate SO much! And the mini halo halo (Yelp check-in!) afterwards was the perfect sweet finish to our meal.I'll definitely be back here. Highly recommend Roline's! More...

Found this place by luck thru Yelp of course! Went to the outlets for some shopping, but was tired of the same diner places. Made my way to Roline's, which was only down the street from all the shops. Once you're done, there is a halo-halo bar with many toppings and ice cream to choose from. More...

Best Filipino food in town. Try their halo halo! Pork lumpia is good. The chick adobo is tender and good. Get the adobo juice on your rice .
I really enjoyed their combo dish options. We get a free mini sized halo halo which is definitely a plus. Their lumpia was fresh and so delicious. Although I've never been to Roline's, I've seen it multiple times on yelp. I finally ordered delivery at work (little did I know you guys were located in Vacaville, but the short wait was worth it) The food was great! I ordered the chicken adobo and BBQ chicken, and it was all amazing. Definite 5 stars! Also a HUGE shout out to my delivery guy, Josh, who was very punctual and nice! I will definitely be orderingdelivering again and visiting the actual restaurant in the near future. More...
The best halo halo ever! It's a hidden gem in Vacaville. The place is a few blocks away from Vacaville outlet. Superb customer service. You need to try this place!!!
I have hears about Rolines a couple times before would people would bring it for a pot luck. I went there for the first time on 04/04 and wasn't disappointed. I had the 2 item plate with chicken and pork adobo as well as half pancit and garlic rice on the side. They also tossed some extra sauce from the Adobe on the rice for me.They have generous portions and I definitely got enough to eat, and for under $10. Everything was also delicious and I really liked the garlic rice, I could that with some of that sauce from the adobo all day long.I also checked in and got my free halo-halo teaser. It good but gave most of it to my wife because I don't care too much for coconut. I'll be back. More...
My favorite place!! The staff is wonderful and the food is delicious!! I always order my lumpia from them for my work and they never disappoint! They are the best!
I had the ube halo halo. Pretty good size and ingredients considering the $6 higher price. It was pretty good. The Filipino food looks good. Buffet on weekends for $13. If in the area again I will definitely try the food out. More...
Awesome, Authentic Filipino food! My boyfriend and I were on the way home when we discovered this little gem. We were craving Filipino food. It's hard to find authentic, fulfilling Filipino food if it's not homemade but Roline's definitely met our expectations. We had lechon kawali, ginataang kalabasa (I hope I spelled that right), kare-kare & garlic fried rice. We were impressed with the kare-kare! Beef was tender and sauce wasn't over powering with peanut butter! We also had the mini halo-halo. Despite the fact that they ran out of mango and ube ice cream, pandan flavor was a great substitute. Roline's is a must try if you're ever in Vacaville :) More...

I love this place. Close to my parents house in Vacaville. They offer good turo-turo selection plus the halo-halo is the bomb.
Failry small space that offers a little bit of everything. It's more a convenient store vibe than restaurant really but that's not a bad thing! They offer Filipino comfort food in the back of the store as well as some convenient snacks to walk out with. The shining star of this place is the HALO HALO BAR!!! order something traditional or build your own with different ice cream flavors and toppings. I was skeptical about the addition of fruity pebbles at first but O.M.G it's worth a try! I definitely recommend for a super casual lunch or if you really need to hit that sweet tooth! More...
My new stop when I crave some home cooked food. Wish they had a menu for kids - - don't like to waste. Adobo is the bomb! Halo-halo on point . Delicious food and awesome service. Does not disappoint when I am craving Filipino food!
I love the atmosphere of this place, it feels like I'm in my grandma's kitchen. The food is really tasty and they have a good variety. I also love that they sell Filipino snacks! My favorite thing on the menu is the 'uberon' it's so yummy and a great play on my favorite Filipino sweet treat. The halo halo bar is also very impressive, probably my best experience getting halo halo in the Sacramento area. More...
I haven't had Filipino food that I bought out from a store and this was so good. Tasted like homemade! Really good I definitely would recommend this place!
I honestly got so excited to find a quality Filipino food place!! I love chicken adobo and my meal was definitely really satisfying. I got the 1 entree meal (chicken adobo) and 1 side (I got half pancit and garlic rice) it came out to be around $7! Currently there's a deal of getting a mini halo halo with a yelp check in. It was the perfect sample size to try halo halo. I'll be coming back for desserts!! The owner Roline actually came and checked up on my table. She's a sweet lady! And the customer service is great! Thank you for the warm welcome! More...
This is a nice place to grab some solid Filipino dishes. The staff are all eager to serve and very professional as well as courteous. The food has always been a nice substitute to trying to whip it up at home. The options change according to what's available and as the night goes on there are fewer choices so try to go earlier rather than wait. More...
loved loved the food... brought me back to growing up. Place was clean, customer service was great and since it was our 1st time there, they were willing to share the menu and give us explanation of the food. eventhough I knew the food lol!! Halo Halo was THE BOMB!!! I TOTALLY FOUND MY SPOT TO STOP GOING OUT TO THE SAC.AREA!! THEY SAY FOOD MAKES PEOPLE HAPPY THE HALO HALO MADE ME HAPPY!! DEF.GOING BACK!! More...
We Always come here for the lumpia- for the family parties, they are always super helpful. They also have a "turo-turo" section- which looks amazing, but I haven't had a chance to try the other food- since we come from San Leandro to get lumpia when we go to parties in Vacaville or Sacramento. What's also nice is that they also sell some "grocery" items. We will definitely keep coming back. More...
The food is really authentic and is like a home cooked meal. The staff is also really friendly. This is my go to when I want my Filipino fix which is a lot!
This place is a real gem. My bf lives nearby and we were looking for some authentic Asian food, we know that Vacaville doesn't have the best Asian food scene but we were pleasantly surprised with Roline's! We shared a combo plate of garlic rice, chicken adobo and pancit. The chicken adobo was nicely flavored and was not dry. Sometimes with chicken it can become dry and flavorless abs this was not the case. It went really well with the garlic rice. The pancit was also nicely done as well. It was thin vermicelli noodles with veggies. It's similar to mai fun in most Chinese restaurants. For a combo plate it was nice that you were able to choose from quite a few dishes. We also ordered a side of chicken lumpia and they were fried to order. They were perfectly crispy and had a good amount of filling. Lastly, we opted to get halo halo, they do have a bar where you can either have the classic or a customized one. We opted for a customized one just so that we could choose toppings. We had ube ice cream with jellies and some cereal. Overall , we loved it from the ice cream to the crispy textures in contrast to the soft jellies. We love this place and would not mind stopping by for a quick meal or even just for dessert! I'm in no way a Filipino food expert but I know good food when I taste it! Total for 2: $20 More...
I really liked this place. The layout made me think of an Italian deli counter but full of Filipino food! Right by the entrance is the Halo Halo stand and the actual food counter is at the back. They sell a variety of imported snack and sweets as well.We ordered the chicken adobo and some of the BBQ. My mother is not familiar with Filipino food (sometimes she lives under a rock) and I wanted her to get an impression. The sell regular beverages and a few types of beers as well if you are so inclined. The Halo Halo was phenomenal. I wish we had a place that made it closer to my home. It took me back to being on Maui which was the first time I tried it. If you have never had any I suggest you order the small size and ask for the works. Yes this means there will be beans and jellies in it but how can you say no if you've never tried? More...
WEDDING RELATED:My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Vacaville Opera House and they had a strict caterer list that we had to follow. Thankfully, they hosted a wedding vendor event because if they didn't, then we wouldn't have found Roline's. I was very impressed with their food display at the wedding fair and the quality of their food. But what really won me over was their friendly and approachable staff. I was really looking for a family kind of vibe for my wedding, not a stuck up, corporate kind of vibe. Because let's face it, I'm Filipino, and hospitality is big in our culture. When it came to our taste testing, we had a 4-course meal. It's been awhile since our taste testing, but hopefully the pictures are self-explanatory. Before you have your taste testing, make sure you email, Margarita, she is the daughter of the owner, Roline. Ask questions and look up their catering menu to see what you would like to taste beforehand. The staff was professional and asked us if we had any comments about the food. They were also totally open to any suggestions and requests we had about the food as well. The wedding itself, umm, they were a HIT. Everyone raved about the vegetarian/gluten-free Pancit (my husband is Caucasian, so we had American and Filipino food. Don't be afraid to ask them if they can cook other kinds of food!a). The tri-tip, penne pasta, salad, LUMPIA, and salmon were so good that our guests had more than just seconds. People also loved the huge Lechon pig [sorry pig :(], but the biggest hit was our delicious Halo-Halo bar! Total surprise for our guests. Overall, we loved working with Roline's. They provided us with great customer service and delicious food. I would recommend them again in a heart beat to anyone getting married at The Vacaville Opera House or for anyone's next event! A very warm family feeling and delicious smells from the buffet bar pervade this Filipino find. We had chicken adobo and pancit which had a tart and and savory deliciousness. For dessert we shared the turo (banana and jackfruit fried crepe) and biko am thick and sweet rice pudding. The best thing was getting to meet Rolline herself! Very warm and friendly! We did not get the halo halo, for which they are famous, but we'll be back! More...
I'm not a big halo halo person. So when I saw they have their winter special it was amazing !! I really hope they keep this because I'll seriously go and get it until they stop ! ! So amazing ! Champorrado halo halo is the best !! Please keep it on the regular menu And the service is great! They're all so helpful! More...
Very good Filipino food, lots of choices and the staff really makes you feel at home!!
This place is pretty good. I came in after lunch and it had one customer but the food they had looked pretty appetizing. I ordered a 2 entree platter with a side: dinuguan, bbq pork and a side of half pan it and half garlic rice. It was all good except the garlic rice was cold and wasn't what I was hoping it would be. Otherwise all others were great and tasty. Since I found this place on yelp, it had a promo for a free small halo halo if I checked in and so I did. The freebie was a good treat even though it was so tiny - it was smaller than their teaser cup. However, that little thing if halo halo was packed with everything it should have including: Leche flan, Halaya and a small scoop of ice cream - I chose Buko pandan. The price overall is good, customer service great (at least for the nice server I had on my visit), it's clean and food is good. This is definitely a place to visit if you are near the area. More...
Tried this on a whim and wasn't disappointed. Kare Kare with homemade shrimp paste was delicious. Definitely be going back to try the Halo Halo.
Yum yum there love in my tummy. I was craving filipino food for so long since moving to the west coast. And I stumbled onto this lovely place by finding it on yelp. So hubby took me on a weekend to try it out. So we walk into this place and it's like a little cute market as well and there's also a dessert station for the halo halo. It was the weekend so it was a mini lunch buffet which made my heart sing, because I get a little bit of everything I like. I may not be Filipino but I definitely know the food very well growing up with it.They have really decent size bar with at least 9 -10 items to choose from. Also they have Rice and even soup and dessert for yℴu as well. And what I ℒℴℯ is watching people enjoy this family style food with their families and to top it off they can go up to the halo halo bar and make an awesome dessert how they like it definitely try it out. What Else I Love about this place was Roline herself is the owner and chef of this place comes out and personally talks to yℴu and yℴu get to chat with her about her food which is very humbling. She's super sweet and Uber friendly. So if you're ever craving some filipino food give this place a try More...
Halo halo probably best on solano county. Food was alright, they give a lot for the price and I can never finish it. $7 for 1 entree with steamed rice, garlic rice or pancit or half and half those choices. Service is fast and nice
I've been here two times while having down time at work and I'm loving how consistent they are with the quality of the food! Entering the restaurant, the halo halo bar is in front and the eatery is toward to back. You have the option for a one item or two item plate with a side and they do Ala Carte option as well. I ordered a one item plate with something that is like Pinakbet minus the bitter melon and garlic rice, I forgot what the lady told me (sorry, I was hungry and my attention span sucked lol). Masaaaaraaaap! I've had the kare kare and garlic rice with kare kare being an extra $1.50 and it's well worth the additional charge! I'm walking away happy without being hella busog! For you beer buffs, they have Red Horse and San Miguel here as well. I would've helped myself to it, but I'm on the job wehh!Customer service is great! Everyone is pleasant and I get very warm family feels being here. Definitely taking anyone unfamiliar with Filipino food besides the typical party foods here. More...
We love it at Roline's!!! We drove down from Sacramento since that was the birthday boy's request and boy did they make him feel special! ! They gave him a Halo-Halo on the house and the Kare-Kare was soooooo good like usual!! I don't care how far we live... This is our favorite Filipino spot and we will for sure be visiting again!!!! Thank you guys for the awesome service!! More...
Tastes like home-cooking! Big portions for the price, they feed you like family. We got a Halo-Halo too, a mix of sweet beans, fruit, shaved ice, and ice cream to top it off! This is going to be our new favorite place for sure! More...
Dinaguan was on point! Not too oily & not a lot of fat. Very tasty! Tried their halo halo for the first time & I really liked it. I definitely will be back!
Came by on a Friday afternoon for dessert after hearing about the Halo-Halo bar. It's everything you expect. You can custom make with whatever toppings you want or get a traditional with the standard toppings. What's cool is the selection of ice cream you can have along with the fruity pebbles. And the teaser size is nice for when you don't want a full size Halo-Halo. Will definitely have to come back again to try their food. More...
I came In here to try the veggie rolls, (lumpia I think) and ended up with the pork ones... I'm not a big fan of pork but these were not bad. . I am very curious to try some of the other goodies that Roline's had the food looked really good! I will be back! More...
great food and great service! Had the BEST lumpia ever from here. Definitely try this place and check-in/get a punch card for a free halo halo!
Very delicious food and their halo-halo is the best in the City. Very accommodating owner and staff. Very recommended for catering, take home and dining in. Great place with great food!
I just heard about this place a few weeks ago and I am so glad I went!!! We went specifically for the halo halo and dessert treats and were not disappointed. We had the champurrado, and classic halo halo, and we couldn't pass up the Uberon. A scoop of champurrado, coconut ice cream with ice and sweet milk was the perfect combo. The uberon was also mind blowing. It was made to order and I even brought one back for my dad who loved it!!! I'm definitely coming back. More...
it has very traditional filipino food and the halo halo is greatit was great, real greatall the workers and owners are very hospitable
Ooooooh. My. Sweet Lord. I wasn't expecting the food to be as good as it was. I ordered it for delivery and I ordered 2 chicken adobo entrees and pancit and extra pancit. I took the first bite and rode into heaven. Also ordered halo halo which I'd never had before; mind. Blowing. I've already recommended to all my family and friends. Good job rolines! Would have taken pictures if I didn't eat it so fast More...
Love this place! Food is delicious and staff is friendly. The owner, Roline, is always there to greet and help. She is down to earth and friendly. Love their ginataan and halo-halo. Will have to try their champorado hahol-halo next time. I'm just full right now with the buffet and halo-ha More...
hands down the nicest family owned filipino restaurant. i've been going here for years. always clean and the food is authentic and yummy. i'm always warmly greeted with hugs from tita Roline or Kevin. they treat customers like family. you also earn rewards and free halo halo when you get enough stars. i love rolines and will keep coming back! ive even used the catering at work which always went very smooth. my mom LOVES rolines and we always hit up the weekend buffet. my favorite is kare kare and menudo but everything is good! My husband and I ate at Roline's last week. Unfortunately that was the first time we stopped in. We have walked by it several times before on our way to the wal mart grocery store. But, this time we wanted to try it out. My husband LOVES lumpia! Anytime he meets someone that knows how to make it, he asks them to make him some. Ha! We ordered the pork adobo and pork lumpia. It was seriously some of THE BEST food I have had in Vacaville! I have had tons of lumpia before, but, this one was honestly the best. I had never had pork adobo before. But, the staff member I ordered from highly recommended it. It was amazing! My husband has had it before at other places. And, even in other countries (no, not the Philippines), and said it is usually a little bit fatty. But, this one wasn't at all. He was surprised at how good it was. We will definitely be going back! Roline's is my second home! Adobo always makes me feel like I'm sitting at moms table again with my family. The haloristas are fun and friendly and always introduce me to new things that always are so yummy. I love seeing new food on her Instagram story and seeing what everyone is always up to!! Def worth trying More...
Best customer service and very good food. I would definitely recommend it to everyone. They even do catering.
Stopped by with a friend on a Sunday and they had a wonderful buffet laid out. I can't say I've ever had proper Filipino food so I had a very open mind coming in. The dishes were wonderful, specifically the paella. That had more seafood in it than when I've ordered it a la carte at seafood restaurants. Other meat dishes were wonderful and I enjoyed the meal. The owner/staff are beyond nice. I will return! More...
Best Filipino place around. Plus the owner is sooo nice. The wife made a real Halo Halo for my husband after he told her his grandma and Mom had passed when he was a child so he was trying to get back to his roots and learn about Filipino culture. She whipped him up a corn topped version of Halo Halo and passed it over and he fell in love. Plus I'm vegetarian and they have great lumpia for me. More...
Here's a review angle you won't see to often. I live in CO and wanted to surprise my son in CA with some good Filipino food. Found Roline's on Yelp and was sold based on the reviews. Got on Grubhub and ordered the two item combo with garlic rice, bbq chicken and adobo. Threw in a small Bangus for good measure.I am going solely off my son's assessment, and he said nothing but good things. Portions were large. The adobo was tender with that traditional garlicky, tart flavor; the bbq chicken was very good but a little dry. The small Bangus had a lot of flaky meat which he really enjoyed. Ordering was easy though I did have to call Grubhub when the order was not initially seen at R
