I am a modern wedding, portrait, and boudoir photographer from Inverness. I live here, but shoot all over Highland and further afield as I love to travel. I tend to have a more creative approach to photography, and I am drawn towards capturing fun moments however and wherever they may happen!

Iv know Roksana for a few years, I knew she was a great photographer. I asked Roksana if she would do my wedding photos for me. I was so delighted to have somebody I knew doing it! It was great to have her around, she kept me nice and calm. However I can only give my highest recommendations for Roksana as all my photos are stunning, the colour has come out so well. She was so easy to work with, that I actually forgot at 1 point that she was there taking pictures! Roksana is very professional with her own private home studio to work in, which was kept warm and private for us to work comfortably in. She was extremely helpful with driving me to and from the train station. She is very warm and welcoming, giving great direction for a variation of great quality shots. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There are many technical tricks and equipment that can help to produce that wow image, but the most important is to make a connection with the person that you photograph. Having them smile and enjoy the session with you.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to deliver photographs to people to serve as a memory to them years to come. Whether that be their wedding day, annual family vacation or senior portrait, capturing those moments and getting the response afterward of how much they treasure the photos as their memory is without a doubt what I love most. I love getting to help people in that way, and to be able to capture memories for generations to come to look at.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Nothing inspires me more than producing an authentic image that captures the true nature of my subject. Photos are lasting; they are a window to really see a person looks like, their personality, their life. Giving someone a great image of themselves makes me thrilled. Especially when I know how the finished product compares to the quality of a point and shoot or cellphone (no matter how good they’re getting). I like thinking about someone picking up the photograph and smiling because what they’re seeing reflects the person they know and love.
Why should our clients choose you?
Why choose me over the HUNDREDS of other wedding and portrait photographers in this immediate area? That's definitely a fair question.
Well, for one thing, I hope you like my work. I hope that you like my ability to create unique photos for my clients on their special day...not just traditional, pretty images, but a style that suits your venue, your gown, your own personalities. I love being able to adjust to the roller coaster that is a wedding day and instantly realize the vibe that is happening, and then take the right photos, to ensure it's captured in a creative and memorable way. I'm not rigid in my approach to taking photos of YOUR day. I have standards, but I'm always keeping my client in mind.
