About

Physical activity and exercise can help you stay healthy, energetic and independent as you get older.

Established in 2013 I set out to help adults get back to an active lifestyle. Offering 1-1 or group training in a non gym environment and working closely with you to achieve sensible goals.

Q&A

Setting you achievable and realistic goals, listening to you and adjust the training accordingly. When your motivation wanes, work together to get you back on track. It's not easy and at times you will hate me, its a journey you embark on, i'm there for you, your support, motivation and at the end to say "look you did it"

I don't like this question, there is no secret, just exercise and a balanced diet. If you are looking for a quick fix, or a body just for the summer, I'm not the personal trainer for you. My aim is to get my clients active, enjoy being active and staying active, helping you to see and feel the results.

I love watching clients who haven't been active for some time start to feel the benefits. Look brighter, feel invigorated and motivated to continue. Clients that incorporate some of the exercises with their families and in their daily life's, makes me feel I've made a real difference to someone's life.

Watching other Personal Trainers training adults and how appalled I was to their approach and methods. So in 2013 I decided to retrain and qualify as a level 3 Personal trainer, specialising in adult training. I have also taken a step further and completed my Exercise Referral qualification, allowing health professionals to refer clients to me for specific conditions, such as hypertension, depression, obesity, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, back pain, diabetes II, anxiety and stress.

I want to help adults prepare for the next stage in life, it may be your first steps after a period of non activity through immobility, general health, time or illness. Take a look around when you are next out, look at some of the older population, some are amazing, still very active and they probably have been for most of their lives, look at the other population who haven't. Just keeping your range of movement and core stability could put you in to that amazing category.
