We found Rodrigo through social media because I fell in love with his work and the tone that he captures in his photography. Intros, coordination, and payment were all seamless. When we met up for the photo shoot, Rodrigo was so easy to work with and made us very comfortable. We also had our 5.5 month daughter to work with and he was so accommodating and understanding as she got fussy towards the end. The photos arrived sooner than expected and we were so happy with the results. These are photos that we will treasure forever and I'm so happy with them. Rodrigo was amazing. Very chill and easy to communicate with. We had a big group- nearly impossible to make everyone happy, but he did! The shots were gorgeous- something for everyone. I don't know how he did it but its the first time we have every taken a group/family photo that looked natural and made everyone look great and seem relaxed. The pictures are really really good. Rodrigo was recommended to us by our Reverend Julienne. After looking through his portfolio, we knew that we loved his photography style and were interested in working with him. Rodrigo met with us over the course of many months, in preparation for our intimate beach wedding. He answered all of our questions in detail, was pleasant to work with, and also made sure to understand our expectations and what we liked. Rodrigo helped us and our Reverend (www.revjulienne.com, also a fantastic person to work with!) plan the timeline of our afternoon wedding to make sure we caught the beautiful sunset. Rodrigo showed up early to our wedding, took our shots, and made sure to incorporate a mix of posed and naturally posed shots. Words cannot express just how blown away we were by Rodrigo's work, but I'm going to try. Not only is Rodrigo a fantastic photographer with such a unique and beautiful style, he was a joy to work with. He was responsive and kind and upbeat, and we were so comfortable with him around. It truly felt like having another loved one with us on our wedding day. He was so available, and so supportive, even talking to me on the phone the night before the wedding when I suddenly had last-minute ideas, and gave really solid advice. Before our wedding, my husband and I had maybe 6 pictures together almost over 5 years, neither of us being particularly comfortable in front of a camera, myself being generally insecure. This was never an issue with Rodrigo around. He captured every precious moment, and the final product he delivered was phenomenal. I was never really into overly-posed wedding photos, and deciding to go with Rodrigo meant that what we got was the complete story of our wedding day, not just pictures with our loved ones (though we did get some posed family photos for my mom). The final photos took my breath away, and, especially if you are someone who is nervous and insecure in front of a camera, I cannot recommend Rodrigo more highly. More...

Rodrigo is the man! I got referred to Rodrigo by my sister-in-law who raved about how easy it was to work with him. So of course I inquired as I wanted the same experience. With photographers, you need someone who will capture the true essence of the moment. Not someone that'll force you to look a certain way or to stage you for the moment. I can tell you that Rodrigo captured our moments as if he wasn't there and allowed us to truly be natural. Looking through our wedding photos, it brought me back to our wedding day. Seeing the look on our faces, capturing our laughs, smiles and expressions made me relive those moments again. What an incredible skill to be able to do that for someone. On our wedding day, I hardly noticed him so when he sent the photos, I was shocked at everything he had captured. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Getting Rodrigo to capture our destination elopement in Bali and on video was the best decision EVER! To us, video was super important as we only had a small elopement so sharing the day and the beauty of Bali with friends and family back home was my top priority and Rodrigo delivered 110% ! The love for his craft truly shines through in his work. He makes you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera so you're video comes out natural. Choosing Rodrigo as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made. Seriously. From the first look, to the ceremony, to small details, to tiny intimate moments, I’m amazed at how much was captured. Even better, with a small wedding of 28 people, we never felt there was a camera on us the entire time. Pure magic! We also had Rodrigo do our wedding video, the shots & music of that day go together perfectly in the video, and definitely brought some tears. We had so much fun watching it on our honeymoon and reminiscing. Rodrigo also took our engagement photos in Seattle, in the snow. It was great to meet him before the wedding, and the photos were equally as fun and special as our wedding day. We shot part at our home with our dogs, and part at park nearby. Rodrigo has a way of getting people who are less photogenic (me!) to be really natural in front of the camera, we were basically laughing the whole time and having fun. I love how candid the shots turned out, and we used the photos for our wedding guest book (they printed really well too). In addition to the quality of our photos & video, we couldn’t be happier with the experience overall. Rodrigo is awesome at communicating and answering questions, from day 1, to after the wedding, and we really made a friend through the process. We weren't sure about capturing getting ready photos and going through the reception dinner because we had such a small group - but I am SO happy we decided to. I would have really regretted not doing them, and they turned out to be some of our favorite photos. All our wedding guests commented on how great Rodrigo and Noel (shooting video), were. Everyone who sees the photos is taken away by the style and feeling of them, how unique and nostalgic they are. Rodrigo is breathtakingly talented, he is such a beautiful person and artist his photos just speak for themselves!! My family and I had the honour of doing a family photoshoot in Maui which was a gift from my sister! We had never done one before but Rodrigo made us feel so at ease even though our kids were not co-operating and have melt downs. He captured our little family so beautifully. I don't think I could be more thankful of Rodrigo for capturing our special day. He was the perfect person to hire for our Maui wedding. It is incredibly stressful to plan a wedding in Hawaii from CT. From our first face time meeting, Rodrigo put so much stress at ease. He is so personable and friendly - I knew from the start he was going to be the right fit for us. He is super responsive throughout the whole planning process. If I had a question I would text and he responded back right away, always. He also provided me recommendations for EVERYTHING while we would be in Maui. My family travelled to Maui for vacation and we wanted to have family photos taken. I searched online for family photographers near Lahaina and found Rodrigo's name, among many others so we were a little nervous booking. Overall we decided to book with him because he had good reviews and because we loved his work listed on his site. We thought it was authentic and beautiful. I can say that we are beyond happy with our family photos that Rodrigo took. They are photos we will happily display in our homes, send for greeting cards, etc. not JUST "vacation" photos but wonderful family photos. We were also super impressed with how quickly he accomplished the task of taking the photos with all of us- there were 6 adults and 3 small children. Working with Rodrigo was amazing! We hadn't met in person until the morning (!) of the photo shoot, but his friendly, laid-back personality got the family settled, relaxed and ready to have photos taken. The entire process of working with Rodrigo was seamless from start to finish. I contacted him to take family pictures for us while we were vacationing in Maui. We never met until the day of the photo shoot but everything went perfectly as planned. He is very friendly, professional and personable to work with. My children were very comfortable taking instructions from him. We got a combination of traditional and candid photos taken. Rodrigo was such a dream to work with. From the very beginning he helped us discover what services I was looking for, always kept communication lines open, and had brilliant suggestions to aid in capturing genuine and authentic emotions in our wedding photos. Rodrigo was the absolute best part of our wedding! I can't recommend him highly enough. Our experience with Rodrigo planning beforehand was so seamless and easy that I had no stress about him at all (and planned my wedding from CA without visiting! ). He made everything so easy! We started our first pictures with him at our rehearsal dinner! I know this seems like an added expense but I can't tell you how amazing it was to have pictures from that intimate night with our closest family and friends. It also helped my husband and I get used to being in pictures, and it helped our wedding party get to know him as well. He is so easy going he even makes shy people and kids comfortable in front of the camera and catches those important moments that pass by too fast during the wedding festivities. The rehearsal dinner photos are such a treat to have I'm so glad I decided to have him there!! Now for the wedding day! He honestly couldn't have done anything different or better. He captured every fun moment, every happy tear, and every loving look that I will cherish forever. He made me feel pretty, and my husband calm, and when I got the photos back from him I just about died with happiness. They are so gorgeous!!! He was able to get our first look, wedding party, church ceremony, sushi cocktail hour, dinner, and drinks and dancing. He was fun, professional, easy going, and just an absolute perfect fit for our wedding.
