I invited what's left of my entire family here to Rocky's for my 65th birthday!
First, they brought everyone their pre-dinner salad except for me, the birthday person, and the payee!
Second, they brought everyone's dinners out to them except me, the birthday person, and payee!
Then my elderly mother 93 years old asked for extra salad dressing, but it never arrived.
I couldn't take it anymore and finally spoke up... The waitress said I'm sorry I'll get your order on right away.... Everyone was finished eating and my order still had not arrived, just like my pre-dinner salad. I felt compelled to get up and leave this establishment while sincerely apologizing to my entire family for why I had to leave!
Honestly, I would not recommend Rockys ...

This restaurant was very busy, on a Saturday night. We had a 7:15 reservation, and were seated right on time. Our server was great. He kept apologizing about he kitchen being backed up, but salads and bread came out quickly, so we really didn't notice. The food was outstanding, as usual. Great Job! More...

I've dined here probably 50 times (since I was little - now 50) and it's changed over the years, but overall still pretty darn good! The new Kodiak room is odd, however. It is too open and loud. Prefer to sit at bar or in area by fireplace. Servers have come and gone - they've lost some good ones! I have only eating fish the last ten years so it's worked well for me. I've recently added poultry back so I ordered chicken Marsala. Everything was very tasty including sauce and mushrooms, but the chicken was just a bit over cooked. We'll still be back, though. Rocky's of Northville is a great place to have a large party event. We have had 2 events here (a baby shower and wedding rehearsal dinner). Both events were wonderful. The staff is very accommodating, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is perfect. They make the process of hosting an event easy! It was great, as usual. We went there specially because I wanted something nice for my mother’s 86th birthday. Only one little problem, my daughter ordered redskins, they brought out rice. Service is always on par here . They have a great selection of seafood entrees . I recommend the Black bean and French onion soups . Salmon has always been perfectly cooked . I took away a star because I've tried their happy hour and dishes were mediocre compared to their entrees . Hope it was just an off day , but mussle broth was extremely salty and the Taco apps were meh . I recommend for lunch or dinner . Cannot say enough good things.I will drive to Detroit just for this pizza. Easily the best i have ever had. Nice clean restaurant except table was sticky, need to change the product being used on the tables between guests.
