Robert and M are rockstars. We could go on and on raving about this dynamic duo. From being organized and timely in the months leading up to the wedding, regular communication, them meeting us in advance to pick out spots for the ceremony, family photos, wedding party, and first look - to their stress free guidance throughout the experience to capture the absolute best pictures possible on our special day. It only took 2 weeks for us to access our gallery of ~800 photographs, and the quality is out of this world. They are extremely professional and totally understood the aesthetic we were going for having a forest wedding. We had the BEST experience with Rob & M at VILD Photography. We are so thankful we found them on Yelp. We had to reschedule our original family photo session due to a snow storm and they were understanding and accommodating. M was flexible and easy to communicate via emails. Last weekend we finally had our photo session and it was absolutely incredible. They made us feel comfortable and most importantly they were able to get our toddlers to smile and laugh for the photos. That is not an easy task but they did it. After several days we received all our photos. We are so in love with them. They captured the best lighting and the most beautiful backdrops. We couldn't be happier. When planning a wedding, we all know there is an overwhelming list of options for photographers. We stumbled upon VILD Photography and we couldn't have been more blessed! The entire experience with Rob and Marie-Louise (Who goes by "M") was warm, yet completely professional and top-notch. My husband and I were planning a very casual Lake Tahoe wedding. We had a lakeside ceremony, with a reception that took place in the backyard of a local brewery. Though I was excited for my big day, I was a bit nervous that such a low-key wedding may have a lack of "magic" in our photos.When reaching out to Rob and M, I let them know what our vision was for our wedding and our hopes for amazing pictures, and their response warmed my heart. Their excitement around the vision of our wedding left me feeling reassured, and their promise to give a sense of ease to the big day made is apparent the VILD Photography was the match for us. Our wedding theme was a Lakeside Shindig with "Beer, Brats, and Music" -- We wanted a fun, light-hearted atmosphere, and our hope was that this would read in our photos. Rob and M made magic happen! Our photos turned out to be everything that we wanted and more. Rob and M were comforting, flexible, yet knew when to rally us when needed. My husband and I were looking for a shop to rent skis. We drove by and Rock House looked so inviting. We went in and Robert and Deena were so friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us skiing advice and information about the area. We did not feel like we were customers, we felt like we were treated like old friends. We very very impressed by these two. We had a great experience at Rock House renting our equipment for our family of five. We went in because they had a very easy to navigate and helpful website and their prices were the best. We arrived close to closing time and the owners, Deena and Robert were happy to work with us anyway. Deena determined each of our skill levels and found the best size skis and snowboards for us and made sure we had everything we needed. They directed us as to the best places to ski based upon current conditions. It was a great experience and we will use them every time we come here! More...

WOW! Robert and M captured our June 23rd wedding in Lake Tahoe and once we received our photos we were speechless. My husband and I have never really taken professional photos before, but Robert and M made it look easy! ! They showed up right on time and came prepared and ready to go! They were professional the whole way through and blended right in. My bridesmaids were telling me that they never even noticed the photographers during the ceremony or reception, but the pictures prove they were there for EVERY amazing moment, they truly captured some phenomenal photos! Wow! Â I have had my family professionally photographed more than 10x across 5 different cities with a variety of photographers - and Roberts' photos are my favorite ever! Â He was a delight to work with via email to set things up, provided a super reasonable quote, came for 1 hour, and took simply superb photos of our family! Â We had a two year old in the mix and he was amazing with her. Â There isn't a bad photo in the bunch! Â And not only are they great family photos, but we look happy and natural, and the photos themselves are artful and lovely. Â He clearly loves Tahoe and the area and it shows in his photos. We had a family get-together in Tahoe and since we could not make it to our nephew's recent Christening, we used this as opportunity to commemorate the occasion as well as provide some professional photos as gifts to the young family. My wife and I initially took bids through Yelp...maybe got about 15 responses that were available. After reviewing example photos on Yelp and their websites, it was pretty clear that there were two groupings based on price and quality. Â The 1st tier were magazine-like images and the other tier were "nice, but nothing special" and unfortunately the costs matched the tiers...except for Robert.Setting up the appointment and the communication with Robert was excellent. He was responsive and provide good suggestions in terms of time of location options, time-of-day (for seasonal lighting considerations). The day of the shoot, Robert and his wife/assistant were prompt despite some confusion on my part regarding the actual location. They were already set-up and ready for our group of baby, young children, and elderly....and the group of adults who were already getting irritated by said group of children and elderly.Robert and his wife were very charming and treated us like VIPs...and you know...it was a contagious feeling and pretty soon we were all hamming it up in front of the camera...laughing and enjoying the attention. The photo shoot was the most "together" thing we all did during the trip and very memorable. Robert took all the standard portraits as we asked (we are not a very imaginative group), but he also provided some fun suggestions...and his candids were some of his best work.The pictures, post editing, were available online; timely as promised...and they were great. Not great as in ones we will frame and hang on the mantle..because I should have had a haircut...my wife did not like her outfit or her hair or her make-up...the boy's shoes did not match (and he should have had a haircut too) , grandma think she looks "too old" (the camera cannot take away 50 years)...but Robert's capturing of our family both individually and as a group in terms of photography were nothing shy of brilliant. I saw photo representations of the love we share, the exuberance my boy has for life, the sense of cherishing between my sister-in-law and her new-born...even the awkward acceptance my brother-in-law has for all the new responsibilities. Basically I am saying Robert's eye captured some of our character and truths along with some dazzling images. Pretty cool. I think we got lucky w/ getting Robert when we did. He seems new to the scene and that's maybe keeping his prices more competitive...because we're just a regular family, but we got the star treatment....and if there ever was a magazine that featured a regular family wearing poorly planned outfits..I am sure Robert's photos of us would have made the cover.[it's already too long...I'll go through the hassle of posting pics if I get some recs] More...

Great prices (half the price of our resort shop) and friendly service. The owner, Robert, helped fit us. He went the extra mile to make sure our gear was in top shape and he gave us great pointers for skiing the area. Unlike other ski shops, they did not rush us through the fitting process, and made sure we had the proper gear for our experience levels.
