Good for lunch and evening meals. There's a light bites and a la carte menu. It's a little bit more expensive than similar places but the quality was very good. The jacket potatoes could have been bigger but the pulled pork burger was very good. Excellent chips! Would return. More...

My sister and I have been for Sunday lunch a few times and I have to say it's the best Sunday lunch I've had. The pork is succulent and you get plenty of it, can't recommend it enough. Much nicer than the Ramside

What an absolute find!!
Excellent value for money, rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast was hot and there was plenty of it.

Stayed here for a night in Durham and for travelling further north. Wish we had stayed longer. The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried and the setting is amazing - nothing around it at all yet only 10 mins drive to Durham. The rooms are one of the best quality I have stayed, clean, warm, and very good standard, much better than some of the so called high end large chain hotels!! The shower was huge!!! On top of this the bar/restaurant serve amazing food and large portions, the drinks choice is good and the breakfast was the largest I have ever had with fresh quality stuff. And for the price of the night stay it is more than value for money....I felt embarrassed paying the price as it should have been more. Will be recommending to anyone and will definitely be using this again for trips to the north east. Just real quality. More...

We had a fantastic stay here after visiting Durham for the day. The location was ideal and set in beautiful countryside although within easy reach of Durham and A1.
Our room was lovely, clean and spacious with a very large en-suite shower room. There was plenty of tea/coffee and bottled water included which is a nice touch. Rooms were quiet and well insulated, beds very comfortable.
Both dinner and breakfast were superb and there's a large choice. Portions were large but beautifully cooked & presented and I think its easily one of the best "pub" meals I've ever had. My only criticism is that I think there should be table service in the restaurant as food and drink have to be ordered at the bar but its a minor point.
Staff at the pub and hotel were very friendly and helpful. I'd love to go back and stay here again and recommend the Three Horseshoes Inn wholeheartedly. More...

This restaurant was recently renovated and it's absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere and scenery is unbeatable. The menu is more expensive than before, but the food is still delicious and you can still find old favorites on the menu as well as a little more adventurous options. The drinks and dessert menus are extensive. Definitely make sure to stop by this place for a meal if you get a chance. More...

I have been here on a couple of occasions, usually late afternoon on a weekend for a couple of quick pints. The staff are very friendly yet professional. The drinks are as they should be, the furnishings are very nice and clean. I have not used the facilities but would expect them to be in good order.
