I have had dealings with Mr Austin on two occasions and both times I have been dealt with extremely efficiently. Should I have the need to contact his office, Tracey has also been very helpful and efficient, or, should Robin be available, I have been transferred to speak with him. It was unusual to have a service provided without actually meeting the service provider. That said, we are fully satisfied with the very comprehensive report provided. It covered even the smallest detail and gave professional advice on how to pursue further examination and tests. Naturally the report covered the faults we identified initially but also hi-lighted other issues which we had not even considered. Thank you for your time and professionalism, you have saved us from taking on a venture we do not need at our time of life.Finally it was good to receive the report in good time and electronically so as to be able to forward it to our solicitor for consideration and further advice.We are now looking for an alternative property. I chose to use an independent surveyor not affiliated to estate agents, and could not be more pleased with the service. Robin Austin team were extremely helpful, responded promptly and very professional. My survey was emailed to me within 24 hours of being done and also a hard copy posted. Having had a survey done on an initial property and felt that that property was not for me it enabled me to make an informed decision and view another property, saving me from possibly making a mistake! Robin has now carried out two home-buyers surveys for myself over the past few months. His knowledge and expertise have been invaluable to the house buying process and my decisions whether to proceed or not. Both surveys were carried out within a week of request and I found that Robin went beyond his contractual obligations to give me as much information about both the property and the area as he could, by talking to contacts within the area. I spoke to Robin on the Friday prior to the survey being carried out, he took various details over the phone about type of survey that I required on the property that I was purchasing. He said that his secretary would verify all details via email on the next Monday, he was true to his word. The email arrived with an instruction sheet to send back and also details of how to pay for the survey, which was planned for the coming Wednesday.The survey was carried out and a copy was sent to me via email on the Thursday.On the Saturday I received a hard copy via the post.I would personally like to thank Robin and his staff for a very top rate service.Thank you very much for completing the surveyor in such a short space of time.Greatly appreciated.I would not hesitate in recommending his services and I now know where to go next time I require a survey to be carried out.
