How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
Questions which need to be answered are:
- What is the available head height?
- What is the pitch of the roof?
- What is the type of structure?
- Is the property listed or in a conservation area?
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
At the beginning we will undertake a site inspection to find out if the loft is suitable for conversion and what the opportunities and constraints are. This is followed by an initial feasibility study providing a few design options. Once you have chosen a design option we will develop it into detailed drawings and specifications. This information will allow us to obtain quotes from suitable contractors. We will then make sure that your project will be delivered in accordance with the agreed drawings and specifications. Once the project is complete it’s time to enjoy your new space.

Interacting with clients, consultants and contractors. Understanding the needs and requirements of our clients and helping them to find the right design solution for their project.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After working for many years for big architectural practices on large projects I decided to start my own business focusing on small to medium sized projects. This enables me to be fully involved in the design process and to be in direct contact with my clients. Developing ideas and being in charge of a business is something I am passionate about.
