Music Producer
Producing means for me, making a record, that gets noticed.
I am there from the beginning: in the rehearsal or writing room, listening and working on the songs. Selecting the recording or mix-studio with suitable gear and a sensible room size, The right outboard and instruments. I help to focus on performance impact, depth and interplay. I am a guide through the difficult part of the creation process - the music - the poetry. I sometimes help to write.
I am influenced by all kind of indicators and flavors, that surround the artist, and try to include these in the production process, including graphical ideas of the cover/video, personal background and references and personality traits. I look for nuances, sometimes performance, sometimes the lyrical and 'zeitgeist' relevance. I sometimes even think about suitable managers, outlets, labels, publishers and PRs in case of unsigned acts. And its fun to work with me.
Mastering
Mastering records to a high quality format with a 20 year experience in the industry.
Mixing
I think music must be relevant, fresh, alive and powerful, and able to reach peoples hearts.
I am mixing records to a high quality standard.
I mix and production-mix your songs with good sonic quality and texture. Warmth, character and dynamics, and mixes, which are not eq-ed and compressed to death, are my speciality.
I will try to transform your music.
