I am currently studying A level Mathematics as an adult after failing at 18. I take weekly online maths lessons with Robert Edwards. It is keeping me on track with the self study and he is explaining the difficult Mathematics concepts to me that I never understood previously. I am hoping to achieve a good pass. He is also willing to mark homework to enable me to complete the course in a year. More...

Mr Edwards has been teaching me for the last 7 years and I must say he has been fantastic, I would not have achieved the grades I got without this help (a* in maths at GCSE and at A Level). For somebody who struggles quite regularly at different concepts, I found coming to Mr Edwards was the best way to solve it, and always found that he was able to explain it to me through various methods in order for me to understand it. Most importantly through was the fact that he always made sure I was fully prepared and if i were to be struggling with something then would make sure that I fully understood it by the exam, Mr Edwards always gave time outside lesson either through email, drop in sessions and I found was flexible with times if I could not make the lesson for some reason. I would highly recommend Mr Edwards as he has been the best help I have had in all my subjects I have taken in the past seven years. You don't find many teachers as good and dedicated as him! Been attending Robert's tuition for about two months and in that time I have become a lot more confident in maths. He works through all the problems you have, and will also give you extra work to do in your spare time unlike some tutors where the lesson stops at the door. I would definitely recommend attending from any level, whether you're aiming for top grades or simply finding certain topics difficult. Well worth the price in my opinion as I now feel I can do well in maths rather than just struggle by. I was studying A level maths and he was a great help. More...

Q&As

Passing on my interest in the subject to my students and helping people who want to learn.

I just intuitively felt that I could teach mathematics and I seem to have been right.

I get about half my students on recommendation and I have many years experience teaching from GCSE to STEP.
