I recently got married in Maui and my in laws were throwing my husband and I a party in England to celebrate with his side of the family. Since I live in the US it was really hard to find someone to film our party not knowing a lot of people in the area and it being peak wedding season. Robert not only came through he did a wonderful job! I LOVE the video he did for us. He captured the party perfectly and even stayed longer to get the important parts. He was extremely professional and the video looks amazing. Can't thank Robert enough!!! More...

Q&As

Photography is all about identifying and connecting with a subject. Until you, as a photographer, can properly identify exactly what it is within a frame that you are engaging with, you will never get the settings right to capture it as it deserves. Once you've identified it, you then have to have the human connection with that subject (whether it is inanimate or sentient) to give it life, to give it story, to allow other to feel things about it.

Obviously aside from the when's and where's of it all, I am going to ask you a lot of questions about style and story. Photography and film is all about story telling within a medium, so the most important things for me to ask and things that are going to help me understand the story you want told, and the way in which you want to tell it. Beyond that, its up to me as a creative to bring that vision to light.

I love when I get positive feedback. Nothing fills me with quite so much joy, especially when it is from projects with a personal touch (like weddings and parties). The idea that I, as a job, get to cement memories into reality and get to do that on some of the happiest and most amazing days of some people's lives is so genuinely gratifying.

Having been injured in Army (Royal Engineers 2.5 years service), I picked up a camera for the first time aged 21, and the world immediately started making sense to me. Pictures inform the very way that I think, and suddenly gave me a purpose that I had never had before. After a few months of snapping away as an amateur, I knew there was nothing else in the world that would leave me feeling fulfilled at the end.

Not only do I bring unrivalled passion to my work, but exceptional reliability. With a foudning base of discipline from my years in the forces, I have the will and the way to ensure any project comes to a happy conclusion.
