Thanyou Allan for your kind words. Much appreciated.

Rob was very approachable and in all fairness had not covered a golf competition before.
Unfortunately this was reflected in some of the action shots rather than the stills as some pictures were just too far away.
Direction was advised but not really followed regarding sales but I am sure he has learnt a valuable lesson

Rob's photography is so unique. He brings out the true essence of his subjects whether it be colour or monochrome. I've been looking at some of his work taken during his European travels and whether it be ordinary people going about their daily lives or a the excitement of a rock gig the true atmosphere of his subject is brought to life and makes you want to know more. Thoroughly recommended!

Rob takes amazing photos when he comes down to Cornwall, and captures the rugged Cornish coast and countryside. If it's a beautiful sunset, a stormy sky or a choppy sea then Rob will capture it. I would definitely recommend Rob for his original, professional photography. More...

Rob did a photo shot with me at his studio and was very attentive and listened to the brief and nailed it! The results were amazing so good in fact I used them on my album cover. His after session service was excellent too as he altered and re scaled a few photos for me quickly and accurately. I will be using Rob again for sure as I like his demeaner and attention to detail, he makes you feel involved and listens to your needs. More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
There really isn't one secret behind taking a great photograph, but there are a series of steps you should take to make the session a success.
The object of any photography session is to capture the atmosphere of the day. If at all possible, I do like to assess the venue, situation beforehand to establish what equipment is needed. I tend to only take the equipment I need for the day . My style is to blend in with the back ground and be as discreet as possible. If it is a family event, it is their day I am there to capture the occasion and not be the centre of attention. For staged studio/home sessions my aim is to make the sitter feel as comfortable as possible so we can achieve natural expressions.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The first question I ask my client is, what do they want from their photo session. Is there a theme/style they want to achieve and then what medium do they want their images presented in. Whether it is jpegs for a website or a bespoke 20" x 30" framed print it is their photo session, my client and my aim is to please. Obviously, the budget is also discussed as we need to establish that I am able to supply their requirements within budget and not present them with an unaffordable invoice as that isn't good for either party.
What do you love most about your job?
Every job is different, ranging from the people and products, location, lighting conditions and time of day, making each project a fresh challenge. I love interacting with my clients and it is my mission to ensure that they receive the images they require. Every time I load my equipment into my car there is a mixture of anticipation, excitement and nerves and that is what drives me on. It shows me that I care.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had been employed in the photography business for many years, initially working in a traditional darkroom, hand developing film and enlarging prints and then progressing to the digital side in the early 2000's. Circumstances changed in 2016 and I found myself with the opportunity to start my own business, it took a few months to get everything into place and it was officially launched in September 2017.
Why should our clients choose you?
My clients receive 100% of my attention. I am honoured that they have put their faith in me to photograph their event or product. I am involved throughout the whole process from taking the booking to mounting the prints. I edit all of my own work and only use professional business' for my printing and framing. The emphasis on my work is quality. I am only happy if my clients are happy.
