We met Rob at the Wedding Fair at Chelmsford City Racecourse. We were very impressed by the quality of his work on display but were also immediately drawn to his genuine, friendly approach, he was the opposite of pushy and we knew he was someone we would be happy to have as a photographer at our wedding. During the run up to our wedding, we had various Skype conversations and agreed an approximate running order and a list of group photos we wanted taken. Rob was able to advise us perfectly in this respect, so we ended up with just the right number of group photographs and none of which felt rushed. The weather was not kind to us on our wedding day but Rob was completely unphased by this and his positive approach shone through. Our church photos were taken inside the building, every cloud does have a silver a lining, as these turned out to be some of the loveliest photos, perfectly capturing our wedding party, the wonderful church and the beautiful stained glass window. During the reception, Rob and his assistant mingled perfectly amongst the guests taking some natural shots to add to the group photos, shots of the speeches, cake cutting and our band. Several of our guests remarked on how friendly and professional Rob and his assistant were on the day. The communication before and after the wedding was brilliant. Following our wedding, Rob provided us with a link to our wedding photos so that we could select approximately 70 for our album, he then very quickly provided us with a proof to agree and our album was ready and delivered within 6-8 weeks of our wedding. The album is truly stunning and captures a beautiful day perfectly. We are genuinely delighted. We also have a memory stick of our photos in a lovely presentation box alongside our album which has allowed us to print photos for our guests and for those family / friends who sadly couldn’t be with us on the day. Rob helpfully shared photographs with our hotel, florist, cake maker and band for them to use. We would highly recommend Rob; he exudes professionalism, the quality of his work is superb, the communication excellent and he is a very genuine and friendly gentleman. More...

We asked Rob to be photographer for our autumn wedding at Gaynes Park, and based on our experience we couldn't recommend him more highly. Planning for the day was a joy - Rob is great fun to work with, has plenty of smart suggestions, and is very well organised. On the day, supported by his colleague Andy, he helped make everything run extremely smoothly, making sure we were in the right places at the right times to make the most of the natural light, getting the guests organised for group shots and coming up with some brilliantly creative shots through the day. The final product is fantastic - we now have hundreds of amazing shots that we've loved sharing with friends and family. Highly recommend Rob, we had our wedding on 20th January '18 and he was absolutely fantastic during the day. For our wedding we were massively picky and selective, and having done our research and interviews with a handful of potential photographers, we met with Rob Pack and picked him over our other 14 shortlists. His excellent previous experience in 'risky' weathers (where winter has shorter days/ dark light sooner) as well as his overall easy going persona and finally, creativity for winter / colder season pictures which is the highlight for us. Rob was our chosen photographer after finding him online and looking at his website and reviews we really liked what we saw. Rob came to our home and we felt like things instantly clicked. He was very thorough in explaining his style of photography, he was very understanding of what we wanted and showed us even more of his work which we absolutely loved. Our package included a pre-wedding photoshoot which we were really nervous about but it was brilliant and Rob made us feel really relaxed. We were so thrilled with the images from this shoot! On our big day, Rob was faultless - he blended in with our family and friends and was really understanding of the days timings so neither of us felt like we missed out on anything. We had nothing but great feedback from all our guests regarding Rob too. The package we wanted was to have all images on a USB and we were blown away with how it came and the personal touch he delivered it with.His professionalism is beyond words.We are so thrilled with the photos and have loved looking through them with family and friends! It has been a real pleasure working with Rob, right from those initial meetings about what we wanted to receiving the lovely photos from the day. Rob made us feel really comfortable right from the start, he was really flexible and accommodating, giving us guidance where we needed it. He really made having our photos taken a real joy, and a fun experience! Rob Pack Photography was our photographer of choice for our recent wedding. We had no recommendations from others, but loved his work from looking at portfolios online and arranged a meeting. From the get-go Rob understood exactly what we wanted, and how to achieve it. We had a pre-wedding shoot and straight away you can tell that photography comes naturally to Rob. His ability to take great photos and make it an enjoyable experience for two camera shy people was second to none. We absolutely loved the photos from this shoot, and in fact have a couple of canvas' of the photos on our walls!Throughout our wedding day Rob and our second photographer Andy were totally in control, spending a great deal of care and attention to get the perfect memories of our day. They were there right from the early morning preparations until there was no more light left of the day! Even once we had finished all of our formal photos and ample evening photos had been taken, Rob and Andy spent hours setting up for a few dramatic, arty shots that we were so keen to get.We are thrilled with how everything came out, and wouldn't hesitate in the slightest in recommending them to anyone that is looking for a photographer with exceptional skill and talent, but is still down to earth and easy to get on with. Rob was our photographer at our wedding in London last month, August 2015. He was the epitome of professionalism and we couldn't have been happier. When first contacted he was friendly and knowledgeable and what particularly impressed us was his willingness to listen to what we wanted out of the day. He researched our venues thoroughly so that upon our first planning meeting he was able to show us a variety of suggested spots for particular shots he had in mind after our initial conversation. He had also checked the time of the sunset and checked that against our planned running order, as well as creating a list of key groups to photograph. We felt that this was truly personalised service, as could be seen when he found a statue to science on a nearby bridge that we might want to include (as my husband has a Phd in Physics). This attention to detail meant that he knew exactly what he was doing on the day and as a result he was efficient and unobtrusive, and allowed our guests to enjoy their day so much more, especially as he and his assistant were both so friendly. The formal portraits were stunning and matched our vision for the wedding. The on-line gallery was available quickly and all the photos were just lovely, furthermore our digital copies on a usb arrived in a beautifully presented box. We simply cannot recommend Rob enough - he cares so much about capturing your special day in the way you want, and this shows in the quality of his work. More...

He and his assistant Minna made our special day all the better with their very well organised, professional approach, especially their unbelievable patience gathering the guests for group photos. Rob Pack Photography = AMAZINGRob has been a star from the moment i meet him at a wedding fair. His personal, friendly and professional approach was fantastic and incredibly reassuring for an anxious bride in the run up to our big day. As part of our wedding photography package, Rob meet with us on several occasions to do pre wedding photographs, chat about wedding timings, co-ordinating with the vicar, the caterer and the reception hosts. He also provided us with cards containing the link to our wedding pictures, which we could share with our friends and family.Rob Pack really is the full package when it comes to wedding photography, and it is hard to put into words how happy i am with the service and the product we received. I asked Rob to take photographs of my two children in the outdoors in January! Rob was very patient with the children and took plenty of photographs of them. His enthusiasm whilst taking the pictures was contagious and my children quickly relaxed in his presence. The resulting photographs were of a high standard capturing the essence of my children in unguarded as well as posed shots. Rob really helped to create lasting memories of our son's bar mitzvah party. He met us at the venue a few weeks before the party so we could have a full discussion about the type of photographs we wanted taken. We were looking for a local photographer to take some great pictures of our new baby girl and her older sister. We were really impressed by Rob's obvious passion and understanding of his art and have some fantastic pictures now to treasure for life.
