A short time after we had RMG Construction finish our basement, our water heater broke and flooded all of the work they completed. Although we didn't enjoy our experience with the other contractors our insurance company chose to dry the basement out, it was a true pleasure to work with RMG again.They began work two days after coming to look at the damage and had back how it was another week later. Especially with Christmas (and Christmas visitors) coming up fast, we really appreciated having our space back. Thanks! More...

They did a great job repairing the fire damage to front of our townhome. Â Very reputable and very nice family owned company. Â They repaired a hole, redid the entire front siding, replaced our storm door and porch light. Â Work was done quickly, professionally, and at a good cost. Â We would love to have them Reno our bathrooms, but cannot afford that at the moment. Someday hopefully! More...

We had RMG Construction finish a portion of our basement, from framing to finishing, and we love the results. The entire RMG Construction team was an absolute pleasure to work with, from Grean and the other folks on site to Mayra and the other folks in the office. RMG won a competitive bidding process against four other contractors by the speed of their communication, their attention to detail, and their ability to meet the needs we laid out for them. We made a change to the work request in the middle of the bidding process and RMG was the only contractor to come back to look at the space again to make sure they understood the request. In addition to being more hands on, they were also the fastest to return an updated figure.Once the actual work began, RMG worked swiftly and flexibly. The team regularly consulted us on specific decisions to ensure we got the results we wanted or when surprises came our way (which is a certainty when working on an old house). They were always respectful of our space and our family, left the work space clean, and let us know when they would be working.We will definitely work with RMG again if we do more work to our house. Bathrooms (All Three)I worked on a bathroom remodeled with RMG Construction for three of my bathrooms . This is my first full reno so I was a bit nervous. And not sure if I would find the right company or what the overall design should look like. RMG has worked with me to narrow down my likes and dislikes. They have provided design ideas that work for my bathroom. They have been professional and have worked with me every step of the way. Their support has been phenomenal. They are close knit family company and treat their clients like family. We also worked together to update the outside of my house (painted shutters, new storm door and mulch) which turned out great. This is my third bathroom with RMG. After the first bathroom came out so great I asked them to do all my bathrooms (3). They have really worked with me to make sure I understood the process and helped me determine what colors, patterns etc. , that would work for my bath. We would like to thank the wonderful crew at RMG who installed a second bathroom at our house in Silver Spring. This was a challenging project since it was installed in an area without any plumbing and no clear way to actually make it work. We contacted three different people to get a bid and their price came in the lowest. However, after contacting a couple of their references, we decided to go with RMG. One other company suggested a method that would have cost us more than double due to a suggestion on digging up the floor and redoing a chunk of the plumbing (thankfully we said no).They were very upfront with the pricing and plan and often kept us in the loop on how the project was going. We did end up with one surprise along that way that was out of their control, so it did go a bit longer than expected. However, the end result is a very nice bathroom that was done up to code with all of the correct permits. What we really enjoyed were all of the crew members. Each person was very courteous and friendly and paid a lot of attention to detail.I would recommend giving RMG a call and having them come out and at least offer an estimate. More...
