What do you love most about your job?
As the CEO and Founder of RLM, I enjoy seeing the growth and development we have had over the past 10 years. Not just for ourselves, but for the brands and companies we services and partner with. As a business owner and professional marketer, I personally enjoy the process of getting to know a new client's business, what their strengths are and where they would like to see improvement. It helps shape the strategy of the overall campaign.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started RLM and now, continue to run and grow it, for very different reasons. I started the firm because I saw an opportunity in the market place to deliver a service that people around me needed in an economy that was in bad shape back in 2008. It was a way to grow personally and professionally in a very unstable economy, at a young age.
I continue to do what I do today for a very different reason. My motivation today is to be an example and inspiration. I want young women of color to have another positive example to look at and get inspired by so that it opens up their minds even more to possibilities they might not have known existed and can strive to be the true best versions of themselves.
Why should our clients choose you?
Being a boutique, independently owned agency in our space, we can only compete with our competitors on work quality and customer service. So these are the things we concentrate on- being knowledgeable, being accessible to our clients, over delivering and making the experience of working with us an enjoyable one, no matter your budget ;-)
