With no plans and virtually no money RJ first received recognition being hired as the Director of the Houdini Museum of NYC at the age of 23.

How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been performing magic for 2 years professionally. I was hired at the prestigious French Woods Festival of the Performing Arts camp in 2015 teaching magic classes. Since then I quit my day job and started my journey as a magician, being the youngest professional in Wisconsin. I've been lucky enough to perform for big companies like Kimberly Clark and Harley Davidson, produce the hit 3 course meal magic show "Now Serving Magic", be featured in the Appleton Post crescent and the Oshkosh Northwestern Newspaper, and perform at events like the Oshkosh TED conference and the INDY 500.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
RJ is a full package entertainer. He does not simply perform magic but he will entertain your guests with a hilariously interactive magic show. There is something to enjoy for the parents and the children with his unique brand of comedy magic.
What do you love most about your job?
I love most that I can share my love for magic with people who hire me and teach the craft that I enjoy so much!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My inspiration for magic is Harry Houdini. He comes from Appleton, Wisconsin where is where I live now. Houdini said "My greatest escape was escaping Appleton, Wisconsin". My goal is to bring magic back to Appleton.

RJ has spoken at TED, Smithsonian, History Channel, BBC and more. He is a noted historian and is the former Director of the Houdini Museum of NYC.
