Hosted a baby shower for my brother and fiancée yesterday and had to raise the amount attentiveness from staff. We were left to our devices and therefore had no pressure or stress when setting up. The buffet food was presented beautifully and even accommodated the vegans. Staff were also very friendly to those who were out of the area. Will certainly visit/use again for an event! Stayed 2 nights, very friendly staff, room was lovely & clean & food was really nice. If i had to say anything slightly negative . .. Not clear where to go on arrival, & although what we had for breakfast was lovely it would have been nice to have fresh fruit & yoghurt too. I don't even know where to begin. Our experience with the LakeWatch Inn was incredible! The moment my husband and I walked in the doors, we knew we had to get married here.
The vaulted ceiling and lights were stunning, and the open second floor was such a unique touch. And as someone who has lived in/near NYC for the past 7 years, I didn't want a "barn" wedding. And it wasn't! The venue is so flexible and can be dressed up any way you want. Everything looked so modern and sleek, just like we wanted.
Nicole is an incredibly talented master-of-all trades. She was so easy to work with (and fun!). We planned the entire wedding from out of town and she couldn't have made it any smoother. Richard was also a blast to work with and got the exact flowers I wanted.
Seriously, everyone needs to get married here. It was perfect and I will never ever forget it. <3

Visited around 5pm on Sunday, when it was extremely quiet. Found service to be lacking (no explanation of pay at the bar, receive a tray etc, we had to ask all of this) and the food wasn't great. Meat and potatoes were dry and had clearly been there a very long time. Thought there could have been wider selection. Absolutely terrible!!!! Phoned before hand to check a carvery was available to be told it was and that it was running until 8pm (phoned at 5pm). Arrived half an hour after phoning to be told all that was available could be seen. What was offer wasn't to bad but when sitting down it was all stone cold and wasn't particularly nice!!! My family and I are regular visitors to the Riverside inn, and had never had any problems besides flat thatchers (90% of the time) - that soon changed this evening. After a quick drink and stroll along the water my partner and I returned to our cars and after 10 minutes preparing for our journey home, management approached us and told us to “get off the premises” after correcting her that we had been here most of the night she then repeated “get off the premises!” I am appalled and disappointed in the way we were spoken to, and will not be returning.
