I was pleasantly surprised to experience this paradise so close to our home that I never knew existed. The property is beautiful, and Mrs. Vicki was so kind and wonderful. We throughly enjoyed our stay and plan to bring our children and family next time. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for some peace and tranquility. It's convenient to stores, yet feels like your secluded from the world. From snuggling up by the fire, to grilling 5 course meals on the patio, and fishing in the Bouie River.. the trip was all around perfect and we cannot wait to be back! More...

Unfortunately just an overnight stay, but well worth the trip. Beautiful, comfy accommodations, beautiful setting and no detail left out. Ms. Vicki was very helpful with suggestion of places to eat. We chose a local favorite, Mack's, that had local catfish. Best catfish and onion rings we've ever had! Then back to the Ranch for a glass of wine and a fire. Nice get away!! More...

I was in Hattiesburg for a week on business and had my fiancé come to town to stay with me. I found the River Ranch online and booked our week stay there instead of a hotel in town and had a wonderful and romantic week! The cabin was such a great place; clean, comfortable accommodations, Internet access, and fully equipped with a kitchen and grill for making your own meals. My family has visited River Ranch on several occasions. The cabin is eloquently decorated with a rustic flair. All rooms are equipped with the amenities you receive at your upper end hotels. All of the rooms are clean and newly decorated. There is a large deck for barbecuing which faces the river. There is a sand beach on the river, which is great for swimming, sun-bathing, and fishing. We caught some nice sized fish. There is a fire-pit for hot dog roasting and s'mores. Beautiful nature trails for bike riding or walking are located in several areas on the property. The cabin is located one mile from the main road so it is very private. We saw lots of deer even a baby fawn with its mom. It was so exciting. We went as a family, but my husband and I plan to go again soon for a couples getaway, This would be a wonderful place for a honeymoon. If you like shopping, Hattiesburg offers plenty of shopping, fine restaurants, theaters, and even a nice zoo. The cabin inn-keeper was very informative about the local entertainment. My husband and I stopped at the River Ranch B&B on our drive through Mississippi. The River Ranch was fabulous! I wish that we could have stayed longer and had more time to relax and take advantage of the things to do on the ranch. With more time, I would have dropped a fishing line in the river, had an evening campfire, hiked around more and just sat outside and read a book in the beautiful surroundings. The bed was extremely comfortable and the internet (which I needed to work remotely) had a fast connection. The hosts Gina and Vicki were wonderful and extremely accommodating. They gave us some excellent restaurant suggestions and took time to show us their horses, etc. ||I would suggest if you go there to bring some items to stock the fridge with snacks because you won't want to leave! My family loves staying in a bed and breakfast. We have stayed in many different types. When we found River Ranch we fell in love. My family has stayed at River Ranch several times. We truly love going here. The cabin is eloquently decorated with a rustic feel. All of the rooms are very clean and well supplied with the amenities needed. Each room is provided with a quaint continental breakfast. A Keurig coffee maker with an assortment of K-cups was also in each room. The cabin overlooks the river which has a sand beach. You can swim, sunbath, and fish. We caught several nice sized fish. The cabin is one mile off the main road so it is very private. We saw a mother deer with her small fawn in the front yard of the cabin. We also saw deer several times as we were hiking the property. The property has plenty of trails for hiking or bike riding. The property is locked and gated so it is very safe. We enjoyed building a fire at night, roasting hotdogs and making s'mores. We also went into Hattiesburg for plenty of restaurant choices, mall shopping, seeing a movie, and visiting the zoo. We were on a family vacation but this would be a wonderful place for an anniversary or honeymoon. My husband and I are planning a couples getaway soon there. We love River Ranch B & B. If you are looking for a quiet, beautiful, relaxing get away this is your place. A 300 acre property surrounding by beautiful pine trees, a safe private locked gate, with a river's edged cabin that is simply breath taking. Eloquently decorated with a rustic flair that gives you a mountain getaway feeling. The cabin has a large deck that is facing the river. The deck is equipped with a Bbq pit, picnic table and lounge chairs. It also include a fire pit for late night s'mores and star gazing. The river has a sand beach for swimming, sun bathing, and fishing. Cold nights the beach would be a great place for a bon-fire. It is a great place for families, but special enough for a honeymoon or couples get away. Hattiesburg is nearby with wonderful restaurants, mall shopping, movie theaters and a newly refurbished zoo. There are also several night-life venues. The innkeepers Vicki and Gina are always glad to suggest fun things to do. Breakfast is provided "continental style" but with several selections to chose from. The refrigerator was stocked with water and a Keurig Coffee maker with fun choices of K-cups. The cabin had all amenities you find at your upper-end hotel. We have stayed at River Ranch many times. I am glad to give River Ranch a 5 star rating. I am always glad to recommend River Ranch.
