I can't recommend Gemma at Tappy Toes highly enough. She hosted a Pirates and Princesses for my niece and 15 of her friends (boys and girls) and they were entertained from start to finish. ........even the parents got involved. I'm over 50, never danced before and I now do the Adult Ballet class on a Monday night .. There's a complete mix of ability - but somehow we are all encouraged and pushed to do more than we ever thought we could. My posture, general fitness and core strength have improved enormously. My children have been with Rise Studios for many years, my daughter started with Tappytoes when she was 2 years old, moving to baby ballet and then to ballet, tap and modern, which she still does today. Both did Funky Jazz, progressing to street dance and they both go to performing Arts. I do an adult class - Ballet Corre. All the classes are excellent and well run and it's a great way to keep fit. I have recently returned from a cruise on P&O Azura where RISE Studios collaborated with the on board kids club to stage a performance of the musical "Annie" on the last day. The children had rehearsals everyday even when the ship was in port. The performance was outstanding and your teacher got excellent results from their charges. I hope P&O continues with this venture as it is good for the children and from the tears on the faces of the parents at the end of the show, it was worth it 100 % More...

I started with the Wednesday Barre Ballet Workout/Bootcamp and am really enjoying it. Good workout and excellent teacher makes a great atmosphere and encourages you to push yourself to your own limits so you feel successful when you do the best that you can. Great group and pleased to be able to be a part of it. Has made a difference to my core (and other muscles) and I leave the class a little bit taller and more poised. I previously attended Tuesday's Adult Street Dance classes and really enjoyed them. It was great to be learning a challenging routine which you then had the opportunity to dance to and enjoy. However, due to other committments I unfortunately couldn't attend on Tuesdays anymore. I have now joined the Adult Ballet Barre workouts on Wednesday and am really really enjoying them. The class pushes you to your limits (in a good way) as is taught by an excellent teacher. I feel energised, more toned and fitter when I leave the class and am very glad I found 'Rise Dance Studios' on my door step! Thank You Claire for providing Adults with proper dance classes - not 'fake' dance classes like Zumba! More...
